Lanfaer Now, I am making a series of classes for people to choose for their characters. So far I have this for info:
~~~::: The Purpose :::~~~ With the removal of the Stat System balance must be restored in some other way. For this purpose, the Classes were born. Each of the Classes listed below are more like archetypes for your character: they explain your weaknesses, your strengths, and even come with nifty abilities and limits that further define what each Class gives you. While these here are only the beginning, general classes, each race will have a list of their own Sub-Classes that, while optional, give further positives and negatives, abilities and limitations to further define the type of character you are.
~~~::: The Rules :::~~~ Classes are [not] optional. Every character must have a Base Class. Once chosen, the Base Class cannot be changed except through Mod approval. The only time a Mod can approve this is if the character has not yet been used in the Role Play. No alterations can be made by the Member to the Class. If the class says you are physically weak, you will [not] be physically strong. If you are playing against what your Base Class and Sub-Class say, you will be banned instantly without trial, unless it was sheer lack of roleplaying ability that cause it. Each character may only possess [1] Base Class or Sub-Class at any one time, unless a Sub-Class or Base Class allow for this.
Now, the classes are what I need discussing right now, the Base Classes. The Sub-classes will be written up later. Anyway! The basic breakdown of the classes are:
I. The Brawler - Basic fighter II. The Sharpshooter - ranged user III. The Warrior - weapon user IV. The Technician - technique user, also a medic if you choose to do that. V. The Beast - specializes in augmenting the body and using only the body to fight, also known as the Myrmidon. They deal damage, and take it. Kenpachi was this class. VI. The Average - You are not the best, nor the worst, at anything. You will never excel in one area over another. Also known as the Jack-of-All-Trades, Master-of-None.
Now, What I need to know is if these work, if there are others that need to be added, ones that need to be changed, etc. Just the titles. More information will be written for them after we decide which ones to go with.
Why not have a set stat system based off of the class system, something like this: The Brawler (E) Strength: ♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦ Defense: ♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦ The Brawler (D) Strength: ♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦ The Brawler (C) Strength: ♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦ The Brawler (B) Strength: ♦♦♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦ The Brawler (A) Strength: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦♦♦ The Brawler (S) Strength: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ The Brawler (SS) Strength: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦♦♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ The Average (E) Strength: ♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦ The Average (D) Strength: ♦♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦ The Average (C) Strength: ♦♦♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦♦♦♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦♦ The Average (B) Strength: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ The Average (A) Strength: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ The Average (S) Strength: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ The Average (SS) Strength: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Technique: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Intelligence: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Defense: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Agility: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Stamina: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Reiatsu: ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ The basic run-down Rank E : 20 points Rank D : 30 points Rank C : 40 points Rank B : 50 points Rank A : 60 points Rank S : 70 points Rank SS : 85 points Sub-class 1 Rank C : 25 points Rank B : 30 points Rank A : 35 points Rank S : 40 points Rank SS : 45 points Sub-class 2 Rank A : 20 points Rank S : 25 points Rank SS : 30 points For this idea you'd have to come up with three sets of bonuses for each class but we'd have a simple 150 stat system. I really like stats, lol. Anyway, this seems to me like the only way to really make the sub-class idea work, so what do you think?

WEll, we had stats. I removed them because few people in the guild liked them. So now I taking out the stat system, and replacing them with classes. At a later date, I MIGHT bring it back, but that depends entirely on the guild members.

My basic idea was for set stats based upon each class with bonuses based upon the sub-classes, it might be a lot simpler then your stats. I dunno. I like stats, lol. Kenpachi, for example, would be like this: Class : Beast Sub-class 1 : Beast Sub-class 2 : Beast
