Nate raised an eyebrow at Steffy's litt;e explosion of general excitedness over the presence of carrot cake in the cafe. "Er...I'm kinda with Jacob on this one...I prefer my cakes to be all sweet, no health." He was referring, of course, to the 'carrot' portion of the name. "However, I can't say no to a cold soda. I'm in."

Steffy looks at Jacob, and nods, then looks at Nate. "I know you will. I was telling that to Nate." she says, smiling a little.

Ikuto closes his sketchbook, and puts it away in his bag, then stands, stretching a little. He walks over to the tree where the three were talking, and grins. "What's all this I hear about you shouting about cake?" he asks.

"It's great. I go online for about an hour for each class and I only take five classes a day. Plus, when I'm done, I get to mess with the teachers. It annoys them. Especially since I'm an alumni, and they don't have much control over me." Ikuto says, grinning wider.

Nathan rolled his eyes, smirking. "Seems like a moot point if the bastards can't even keep me IN class..." He headed for the gates his smirk turning into a grin as he glanced over his shoulders at his friends. "Time to move guys. No need to keep Steffy waiting. You know how she gets."

Ikuto watches as Steffy runs off, then breaks into a run. "You're not getting there before me!!" he shouts, passing her on the street, then turning to make a mocking face at her.
