Still a little stunned by what had just transpired, Mitsu did her best to follow the reaper as he started moving again. It wasn't until they nearly made it to the eyephone store when she realized her second problem. Oh jack, what was she going to wear? While the lupine had skirts she had no real dresses. Would it be weird if she didn't dress up in something fancy like she saw in the window?
"S..Shun I...." She was about to elaborate on her problem but she had suddenly realized where the reaper was taking her. "W..wait...aren't the phones here expensive?"

Since she was a little behind him, Shun couldn't really tell that he had really stunned Mitsu there. Not only that but he couldn't see her facial features anyway. Hearing her address him, he paused and turned around right outside of the eyePhone store. He looked from her to the door, then shrugged.
"It's not a problem," he said before walking on inside. There were a limited amount of products inside, but there would at least be a number of options for each of the models.
"Pick something."

"B..but," Mitsu didn't have time to protest Shun was already moving inside. It was as she feared too, it just smelled like a place that would suck away your money without a seconds thought. "P..pick something?" There wasn't a lot to look at but Mitsu was sure everything had a price on it that would make her sick to her stomach.
"I..I just need something that dials..." She tried to explain in a stutter. "And stores numbers." That's all she needed because that's all she had been used to having. The phone she had was a well worn and beaten hand me down when she had received it. While it had looked to be in poor shape it was in exactly the same condition she had received it and it had no special options. Something simple...that's all she wanted.
"M-maybe this isn't a good idea. I-I'm sure I can manage without one..." Or at least manage until she had enough money to pay for her own.

After giving the place a quick look, Shun turned towards Mitsu with his expression as intense as usual. He seemed pretty serious about this.
"Well. All of these phones can do those things," he said, "It's seriously not a problem."
Waiting a moment, he turned to walk towards one of the displays.
"If you're that worried, you can go for one of the lower end models here," He suggested. Even the older ones had pretty good functionality.
"They're pretty durable, so it's silver well spent in any case," the reaper added. His own phone had survived being waterlogged and all, and he didn't have a case for it.

Mitsu's ears fell back at that intense expression, her tail coming up between her legs in a submissive manner. Shun was very much the alpha dog in this situation. "O..okay." She said sheepishly following behind the reaper to the booth with the older phones.
They were all still so fancy, much fancier than what she had. Looking from phone to phone she tried to pick the cheapest one they had...though none of them were cheap. "I..I guess this one." Mitsu pointed to the oldest model available not wanting to bare witness to that intense look again. Shun serious face was a little scary.

With his hands in his pockets, the reaper waited for the werewolf to look through the older phones. She still seemed apprehensive, but he at least got her to consider the options. When she had finally made her choice, he looked and saw that she had picked out the oldest thing the store had to offer. Close enough he supposed. The phone wasn't that bad in any case.
"Alright," he said before flagging the clerk to let her know they were ready to buy.
"Do you want a data plan?" he asked the girl while the employee was setting things up for the purchase.

Mitsu's ears did the classic look of confusion, one flopping down while the other one stayed perked. "What's...a data plan?" She honestly had no clue. How would she have known with a phone as old as the one she had? It had come about probably when Jack Skellington was still around.
"I...I'll do my best...to pay you back for the phone." Mitsu offered quietly. This was far beyond the value of the one she had it wasn't a very fair exchange on Shun's behalf.

For a moment or so, Shun stared at Mitsu, then thought on how to explain things.
"Basically a plan where you can access the interwebs. Get apps, use your email, and stuff like that," he said. His eyes narrowed some at her offer, however.
"I said not to worry about it. You don't owe me anything," he said a little gruffly.

"I...never had anything like that on my other phone," Mitsu said her ears falling back again with his tone. "Does it cost more? If so I don't need it."
Though Mitsu had to admit the thought sounded neat. Getting e-mail and going on the interwebs with your phone. Who would have thought such things would be possible. And she was curious about these apps.

"It depends. Right now they actually have a deal here it seems for a free small dataplan with their older models. If you want apps though, it'd depend on the app. Some are free some you pay for," he said while looking down at the phone.
Shun then glanced over towards the clerk, who was almost done getting the contract and stuff ready.

The lupine was a little overwhelmed by the information, she was going to have to study the material for this new phone to know how it worked. Obviously it was going to do much much more than just dial and store numbers. "O..okay." She agreed though reluctantly, eyes turning to the clerk as they finished up the contract with the small data plan and placed the eyephone back in the box and scooted it over to her.
Nervous fingers gripped the box pulling out the phone again to give it a look over. It was so shiny and new with no scratches or chips in it. The screen graphics were so crisp and clear while the ones on her old phone had bordered on being 8 bit technology.
"C..can I get your number again?" Mitsu asked hoping the reaper would communicate with her on the phone. It would be the first number she would put it.

Once the contract was finished, Shun went ahead and paid while Mitsu got her phone working. Then, turning around, he glanced down at the device and nodded. The eyephone was definitely shinier than the beaten up old phone she had before it kicked it. He figured it would definitely serve the girl well.
Pulling out his own phone, he went on and gave the wolf girl a missed call so that she would have his number again. When that was through, he ended it and placed the object back into his pocket.
"I guess if you have questions on the thing, go ahead and ask."

When the phone in her hands began to ring Mitsu's ears perked so high that the tips nearly touched together. This one had a much pleasanter ringtone to it. It took the werewolf a few moments of fiddling before she finally managed to store Shun's number in her phone. When that was done she stored the only other two she knew which was Mr. Adolphus' phone and her brother's number which no longer worked. She would have to remember to get Lizzy's.
"I can take pictures?" Flipping the device over Mitsu looked at the little camera lens on the back. "How do I take the pictures?" This would no doubt be only the beginning of the questions but she would be sure to read the manual it came with.

While she fiddled to get accustomed to her new phone, Shun waited patiently. When she asked about the camera, he moved behind her so he could point out how to go and access the camera. Thankfully, just about everything had an icon so it wasn't hard for him to navigate.
"Then just hit that button on the bottom to take the picture," he said to finish the explanation, "You can take the picture portrait or landscape style. It doesn't really matter. It'll register it."

Mitsu's ears gave a twitch with each piece of new information like she was in processing mode. Once the camera was found and explained her tail began to wag as she tilted her head up to look at Shun holding the phone up to focus on his face. "Can I take your picture?"
