Fluorite couldn't help but headtilt a bit at that. This was really the best way they'd thunk of... Was something wrong with their system ?

Throught it did make her realize that she really had no idea what was Zinkenite's weapon, or how he fought. She'd never even seen him fight at all.

She didn't get the time to ask, through. Alunite nodded, then off he went, charging right for first strike.

...Yep. There we go. A quick facepalm, and Fluorite followed - what little choice did she have ?

She had half a mind to let the general whack him around a bit, through.

It was fortunate for Alunite that Zink didn't tend to 'hit' unless he started to let his temper get the best of him, and when he did it was a corruption fueled temper indeed. He slid to one side, spinning to follow the track that Alunite took as though they were dancing rather than fighting.
He glanced next toward Fluorite expecting her to attack next but glanced quickly back towards her Brother, flagging him as 'hasty'.

Ironic that he was teaching anyone to fight, even if it was more intended as an observation than a lesson. "Not bad, you might hit a very new Senshi, most of them don't know how to fight." He said casually, damning with faint praise.

Hasty was indeed the word - Alunite didn't expect to be dodged so easily and nearly face-planted. God damn, he looked like an idiot.

He didn't especially like looking like an idiot. He turned and went at it again, this time trying for a fake - he looked like he was going to punch, but instead went for a kick to try to drag Zinkenite down.

Well, that was a little more like it.

Just a bit.

With the general's back on her, through... She rushed forward in turn, her own steps nearly soundless where Alunite's boots gave him away very easily.

It was a good strategy, particularly for Fluorite. He started slightly as the punch of the feint started its motion but then used the side of his fist to smack hard to the inside of Alunite's leg just above his knee to keep from doing too much real damage. The impact of it might be easily brushed off as a combination of momentums rather than attributing any greater strength to the young man.

Fluorite though he only managed to start a turn, his attention divided between them his eyes flashed wider moments before her strike hit home and he exhaled hard trying to minimize the damage done and whirling into a low crouch only to stand quickly, trying to catch her mid step and straddling his shoulder for a rather odd 'lift'

Alunite didn't have time to do anything about the punch, through he did try to dodge it. At least the reflexes were there. It just needed a little more fine-tuning.

When Zinkenite turned to deal with Fluorite, though, he saw his own opening, and went for another strike, this time right in the middle of the general's shoulderblades.

Well, Zinkenite did catch himself a Fluorite... kind of. He did catch her off-guard, sure enough, but she landed with one foot on his shoulder rather than what he'd intended.

Still an odd situation to find herself caught in, and Fluorite leaped off as she saw Alunite move in. Weither she jumped off in time was yet to be seen.

He staggered slightly as her foot drilled down into his shoulder, and then shifted as she prepared to launch herself off him, a hasty glance over his shoulder gave him only seconds to react, seconds to chose what he'd do to defend himself, and choose he did.

Rather than trying to impede her launch, he assisted it. Shoving a hand up under her heel and shoving hard, angling her as best he could towards her hit-happy sibling. The bigger they were, the harder they fell. "Catch!" He said with an all too evident smirk, though he really did know better than to smirk mid fight, it -seldom- paid off but at the very least they were Lieutenants still.

...Uh oh.

This worked pretty well. In fact, one could say this was super effective. Fluorite was light, agile, and very nimble - unfortunately this also made her a very easily launch-able projectile, and with nothing to catch in mid air...

...Straight into Alunite she went. Oh, he caught her alright - if only on reflex - but then the both of them stumbled down like bowling pins.

"Ack ! Get off !" Alunite failed a bit.

"You're on top of me, damnit !!!"

"Hmm..." Zink dusted himself off, particularly the boot print on his shoulder.
"I would defiantly keep practicing." He said shaking his head.
"You could have used her attacking to launch your attacks, then her next moves would have been covered by YOUR magic if I understand you...they would be harder pressed to retaliate unless they were somehow accustomed to working in situations of poor to no visibility" he chided them.

Had he not decided already that he would very much like to utilize them for his 'project' if they were interested... then he might not have made the suggestions to them directly, but perhaps it was best to strike while the 'iron' was hot at any rate.

Alunite finally came rolling off Fluorite thanks to an helpful push from the other, shaking his head in an attempt to make the world stop spinning. "Yeah..." Damnit, it made sense right now. Why didn't he think of it ?!

Fluorite was the first back on her feet, shaking the dust off herself. When Alunite did, they went back for a new offensive. Fluorite took to the left and Alunite took to the right - she went for the legs and he went for the midsection.

They'll see after that.

He made a small 'tisk' sound and rolled his eyes, he shouldn't have really done what he did next but sometimes... sometimes you just wanted to 'play' with your food.

He teleported.

He re-appeared seconds later several feet from his previous location and turned to face them again, well...to watch the results of what happened when you removed the target from a two way tackle.

"...I'll point out that there is a senshi who can teleport." He said simply.

What happened when one removed the object in between a two-way tackle ?

Well, the very thing you expected to. Fluorite stopped in time. Alunite didn't, and it was all that was needed, really. They didn't quite fall down, but the end result was hillarious. Alunite more or less caught Fluorite before she could tumbled down.

"Wouldn't surprise me." She removed herself from Alunite's grasp. "There's a ******** senshi for everything."

"Ahem."

"You know exactly what I mean." Fluorite rolled her eyes. Next... Well. She just gave Alunite a long look.

A luck which he seemed to understand. Both feet planted straight on the ground, and he spread his arms wide. "Umbra Eclipse !"

Nothing happened at first. He had to channel.

But Fluorite was in front of her brother now. Zinkenite probably only had a few seconds to somehow get past Fluorite to cancel Alunite's channeling.

Zink... smirked. It was such a damned clear cheshire smirk that it could be traced through the fabric of his mask. He didn't try and stop it... he simply held up one hand, and with a small twitch of his fingers, making the summon look like a magic trick he held what for all the world appeared to be a star seed between his fingers.

"There is a weapon for everything as well." He said and with one hand, pulled up his goggles, and obligingly closed his eyes. He had not yet thrown the small strange object... if that was his weapon it looked almost as unimpressive as his stature.

Fluorite was instantaneously suspicious, green eyes narrowing. Starseeds ? No... not starseeds. Something was off about them.

A weapon then, but what kind of weapon ?

Alunite also seemed somewhat suspicious. At least it seemed the lesson was sinking in - do not rush, and do not underestimate.

It was at that very moment that Fluorite's energy signature muddled - it widened and lost in intensity, while Alunite's very clear one remained as such.

She'd been the one he had used his power on.

...Her limbs were tiggling. How odd !

She padded her way to the general as carefully as she could in the very low time span she had - whatever sound she made might give her away - and she settled not to hit him, but to try to disarm him - steal the 'starseeds' away from him.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 05, 2011 6:09 pm

His head turned just a little to follow her as she moved closer to him, 'looking' with closed eyes just over her shoulder to better catch the slight sounds she made, perhaps... a little TOO good at following her for someone who'd never been subjected to this attack before.

He let her take the small crystal, it was light in her fingers, sharp on the ends but more because they were angular than because they could be used to lay open a cheek... they were also...
she would quickly find as his hand 'chased' hers, closing over it and squeezing gently as his fingers closed over hers and the small crystal, that lacked the energy and zest of a starseed...

fragile.

It crunched in her hand, for a second, nothing happened, and then thick grey smoke curled from her fingers in billowing and obscuring waves that carried on their grey curls, terrible sensations.

Bad idea, bad idea, bad...

Holy crap what the ******** was that !

"Abort ! Abort ! Let that g-" Too late. There went the smoke... literally.

Alunite didn't have the chance to do much of anything - oh good god that s**t STUNG holy crap.

If Alunite never had a chance, imagine Fluorite. Her fingers closed on the smallest, but she didn't pull away quickly enough. She had only briefly touched starseeds before, and didn't feel like one.

Next thing she knew, there was smoke all over. Reflex was to pull her hood up, but it did nothing - and so she was left coughing, eyes watering, and in a very similar state than her brother was.
