"Hmmp, and you too, Captain." At least he smiled now, his own crooked as he took her hand. He had long fingers, his palm probably dwarfing hers as they shook, and one of his shoulders hiked up in a quick shrug. He was ready to be done with this, eyes, flicking around to the filled benches. There was nothing to object to, at all, so he didn't know what to do now, other than head home.
"Thanks." And that about covered it. Ilmenite let go and took a step back, shaking his head. This had sucked. Maybe he'd be less of a moron next time they met up. "I'll see you around."

Painite was glad to see him smile, taking it as a sign that he didn't hate her completely, despite her wanting to take Lyra into something that could feasibly be dangerous.
Feasibly to some. Not to Painite herself, though, who had everything in control at all times.
No problem.
"Definitely. Have a nice rest of your night, Captain Ilmenite!" She said brightly, stepping back as well before looking around the area, making sure her little friends were still all situated and not slumped over or something. She moved to fix the couple on the bench, not satisfied with their positioning, entwining their hands.
There. Better.
Then she waved to Ilmenite if he was still there before teleporting away.
