He wasn't sure he wanted to be here.

Thanatos made his way into the cafeteria, choosing that as a location merely because well, it involved food, at least in theory, and that was always something of a comforting accommodation. The somewhat diminutive monster traipsed inside, noting the cluster of other younglings gathered about. At the very least, he was going to have to make friends, or there would be those who would be exceedingly disappointed in him. Swallowing the ball of nervousness welling up in his throat, he continued stroking one of his long, and currently drooping ears with neatly manicured claws.

The pup's long tail emerged from betwixt his legs as he arrived amongst the others, and he picked the nearest and most colorful object in his sights to interrupt and approach, which just so happened to be Merry. "Hi-hi-hi hi!" He chirped, "Thissun's Than-Thanatos!" It was a soft introduction, his one visible eye shining happily at the ghoul, before he stuck out his remaining hand towards another of the others randomly gathered in his vicinity. The second victim was Dom, whom the pup rather instinctively liked on sight...there were certain aspects of his appearance, that honestly, the Fae-hound rather liked...you know, in that brotherhood sort of aspect. Well, all right. He liked the ears. The eyepatch possibly helped.

Possibly.

"Uh... yeah," Roch said, in a stunning display of verbosity, he added silently with self disgust. He didn't bother to tell her where the other studs were, just said that he had more, which was stupid, but there was no way in hell he was going to stick his tongue out! He'd probably bite it off.

He glanced at Dom, expecting--or hoping, at least, that the other boil would take over the conversation, since he didn't look nearly as uncomfortable as Roch was. Or the new stuttering kid that had just walked in, he thought, glancing up. That was a good distraction.

Dom's eyes narrow as the black-haired boil trotted his way up. Instinctively he thought annoyingly cute and the only one allowed to be annoying cute and get away with around here was Dom. Or so he had decided. But when the sweet introductions turned to him, he softened, the doggy-boy had an eye-patch too. Maybe he was under a curse as well!

"Hey there, pooch, what's shakin'?"

After shaking Thanatos' hand, he leaned back, glancing slyly at Roch. "Well, just where are you hiding them?" he smirked. The demon was going to be of no help at all.

"Taste the rainbow," she commented idly at Dom, feather tipped tail curling around his side. He would be fun, of that she had little doubt. It would have to wait though, for the reaper and his admitted hidden piercings quickly reclaimed her attention and she turned where she sat the lean towards him, tip toeing the tips of pale fingers along the zippered heart on his vet. "Oh really? Where abouts?" She plucked at the fabric, red eyes dipping to peek within his shirt. "In here?" She glanced lower, then flicked those half parted eyes back up to him, a completely scandalous smile gliding over marked lips. "Or lower?"

Roch was saved though as a another new face came up to her, stuttering a greeting in her direction before thrusting a hand at Dom. It made her blink, lips pursing in consideration before parting in an answering chirp, her own far more bird like. "Thanatos, hmm?" She straightened, looking over the drooped ears and the gnarled horns that sprouted from dark hair. "So what is thissun?" Species wise, specifically speaking. She was curious, having never seen anything like him before.

Oh now Dom had done it. Questioning the reaper further on the location of hidden metal, and Merry's attention was pulled back around towards him like a moth admires a flame. "Yes, do tell."

Tari was having a ball watching the reaper squirm. Quite the poet this one. Slitted eyes glanced over him as he seemed disinclined to reveal their wearabouts. She liked Merry's forwardness, she felt she would be a fun friend to hang out with.

She tensed at the sudden appearance of another creature, one she could sense what he was. A dog. Her cat blood puffed a bit but she didn't show any outward signs of aggression towards the boy. She had never liked dogs, despite their reguard as a god as much as her feline ancestors. But he didn't seem a threat for now. He seemed to have decided to like the donkey so she left him alone for now.

The game was on as Merry and the Donkey asked where the reaper's piercings were. She leaned closer to Merry, loudly whispering.

"Well, I could try and find out," she held out her hands and unsheathed her claws. Dark eyes glinted with mischief towards Roch as her tail came up to tickle his chin. Her voice was a sultry kitten purr. "I always enjoy a good hunt, especially when the reward is fun."

"Lo--lower??" Roch yelped, looking horrified at the idea, so horrified that it made him break his quietness. "What the jack would you--" He paled just thinking of things that could be pierced down there. "Hell. No," he said firmly. "Just no. It's my tongue."

Then he looked at the lady, really wishing he could eat something. This was getting embarrassing!

Pooch? Canting head to one side, he wrinkled his nose, before a grin spread across his features. "Na much, na at all." He replied brightly to the donkey boil, though the Fae-hound's attention span was soon directed elsewhere. There was so much going on!

Bobbing his head brightly towards the chimera lass, his tail thumped against his ankle, absolutely beyond delighted that people were willing to talk to him. This wasn't like home at all! "Than-Than is a Fae-hound." He murmured, lips pursing faintly. He'd love to say Reaper, ah Jack, he'd love to say Reaper, but that, unfortunately, had all but been bred out of him.

Now the pup was flummoxed. Ears flickering back to rest against his dark hair, he looked bewilderingly amidst his new companions, trying to fathom the topic of this conversation. Whatever the case, it seemed to entail getting close to people, if the sphinx ghoul was any indication. And it didn't seem as though this game was very fun for the Reaper boil. Than could sense that one was a Reaper, if naught else....living in a family with them made one accustomed to their particular aura.

Perhaps he should make friends with that one...possibly. Then again, he might not take kindly to the advances. He was making rather strange sounds just now. And so shifting ever so subtly towards Roch, he arched a brow in a rather animated fashion, the gesture seeming quite comical when coming from the pup. "Then if is not embarrassing...dun worry..." The ghouls were clearly being silly. What was the big deal about pierced netherbits?

"Be right on that one." Nahm snorted and flicked the badge clipped haphazardly to the side of his scarf. "Showoff, huh? Lucky me, this thing's not keeping me from whipping out anything important."

Hell-o. Two smoking hot ghouls had made an appearance. "Vibrant? I'd say, hm. Delicious," he commented appreciatively, taking a good look at them, accepting the offered handshake. "Nice to meet you," he purred. "I'm Nahm. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

His grin reappeared at the question, widened as Roch stuttered and equivocated. "Oh, that's too bad," he said, affecting disappointment. "Just the tongue?"

He nodded to the fae-hound who'd joined the conversation as well. So many interesting people to bother, so little time.

"Yeah, just the tongue," Roch said, snorting. At least it was boils talking to him at the moment, even though the ghouls were waaay too close for his comfort. "It isn't that it'd be embarrassing," he told the pup. "Just really, really painful sounding. The tongue thing was painful enough, thanks."

It was good to have someone else to focus on. "I'm ah, gonna go see if they've got anything ready to eat yet," he added, jumping to his feet and heading for the counter. WAY too close, he thought, tugging at the collar of his vest.

Oh this was all just too much. Breaking into relentlessly unabashed laugh, the Chimera all but toppled back against the table. Arms clutching at her sides as she pressed vivid wings back to hold her up. That response, that FACE. Oh jack, priceless! Tari's offer to assist in locating hidden metal was a delightful one, but before she could agree to it the reaper spit out the location. "Tongue, is that all?" She grinned, voice a little strained for the laughter she was trying to stifle.

Her words were all but echoed by the last of their little growing group, and she slide her gaze in his direction, shoulders leaning to follow. "I don't believe I caught your name." And by the nature of his comment, she was keen to get it. Delicious he'd said. Boy, he had no idea.

So this Thanatos was a fae-hound? Peculiar. She turned to him again, head tilting as she glanced down finally to that long tail. "I see, well aren't you a neat little thing, hmm?" Smiling, she patted the table beside her, inviting him up to sit beside her. There was something about the young boil, something endearing. His innocent little pricks at the reaper certainly didn't hurt either.

Seemed he'd have enough though, and she watched as the Reaper jumped up to head towards the counter. "Spoil sport." She murmured after him, purring.

Takeo's eyes slitted slightly at the sudden influx of other people, his tail flicked every few seconds showing off his uncomfortableness. Quickly he grabbed a tray, put whatever was offered on it. He turned for a moment looking a the group, "...hmph," Takeo stated simply wondering if he should still answer the other's question from earlier or leave them be with the others since they seemed to gather around each other so easily. His response might have been taken differently though. Turning his head to the ground he picked his tray and headed for a lone corner away from the group, especially the boisterous Merry.

Takeo still didn't do well with social gatherings of more then just a few people. Funny, he could fight easily enough, but talking to others was far more frightening. At least they seemed nice enough...still he never was good at telling so he always assumed them to be dangerous at first and as such seemed stand-offish.

Turning his attention to the food he frowned...so there was no fish. How utterly disappointing, but food was food...no? Shoving the food in his mouth he worked on swallowing the pile, eyes always watching the others from his corner.

"Nahm," he said to the chimera ghoul, bowing. "I hope I'm memorable."

"Food? Sounds like a good idea to me." For two reasons - one, simply enough, Nahm was hungry; and two, deep-seated predatory instinct had spoken up - Roch was fleeing, which made chasing sound like fun. He ambled in the same general direction, lazy and casual.

He picked out a bowl of something assorted-looking without too much squirming foodstuffs visible. Once the reaper was occupied making his own choice of food, Nahm slid up beside and behind him and leaned over to speak next to his ear. "I'm sure it wouldn't be too painful," he said quietly, grinning. "No more than a little n**. Oh, well. Find out someday, maybe."

He didn't wait for an answer, instead strolling back innocently to the table to fold himself down onto a seat and nibble at his snack. He wasn't snickering. Audibly, anyway.

"Obviously you've never had anything sensitive pierced," Roch called after him, relaxing now that there was food in front of him. (It was pretty apparent that Roch wasn't fleeing from the grue, just the ghouls.) He started piling up his tray, forgetting entirely about the scene with the girls in exchange for his appetite. He squirted condiments over it all, popped a particularly squirmy bit with his spoon, and headed for an empty table so he could spread his massive pile of food out on it. He covered half of the table once he had gotten everything off his tray.

Oh the look on a prey's face was always the best, even better than the meal! Tari highly enjoyed the look of horror on the boil's face before he finally gave up the location. "Oh that's quite fun if you know what to do," she giggled and finally laughed as Merry got her giggles. A purr, a real one, came from her throat along with something of a pleased growl. Ah how she enjoyed cat and mouse.

She watched as the new boil introduced himself, giving him a wink before watching Roch dart off. Oh the instinct to chase after him was SOOOO strong but the new boil seemed to have the same idea. Tari wasn't all that hungry, prefering some nice raw meat more than anything, so she stayed at the table with Merry.

"Ah don't worry Merry, there's always more spor to be hand," she chuckled and glanced towards the others who were seated with them.

His attempt at making Roch squirm further had failed, but he wasn't upset. Chalk one up for the reaper boil. It had been amusing either way. "Quite an appetite," Nahm commented approvingly, and stole a biscuit from the edge of the spread. Testing, testing.

"You're so right." He smirked back at Tari and courteously offered her an insect.
