"Do you attract pretty insects to you when the sun shines like that?" He took the comment about a 'Phim sister in stride with a silent prayer that she wasn't a protective type. "I have a sister TOO! We look somewhat alike, I think her leg design is different, but other wise you couldn't tell us apart." He stared at Rishima, something in her tone made him take another look at his fur.
A deeper inspection on his coat, Thales grinned. "A white spot, with no dirt or mud on it!" He buried nose into his tail to get that spot shown to Rishima, totally making the the spot dirty.

Rishima raised an eyebrow, trying to maintain an irritated expression while hiding her amusement. "Don't make me drag you down to a river and give you a good scrubbing," she threatened, giving voice to her previous thoughts. "I will too, just see if I don't!"

He looked at her, his nose just above his tail and paws, and started to laugh. It was soft at first, then started to build until it burst out of him. With sides heaving, Thales was rolling on the ground. "You...you wouldn...wouldn't dare! My...moth..mother wouldn't even try now."
With the giggles under control, he sat back up. "As a kit she might of, but not now." Though he could see the determination in the vixen's eyes.

Rishima set her jaw in its most stubborn position, eyes glinting. "Oh? Try me." There was nothing teasing in her voice, not at all. Heck, she would have dunked the male in a river just on principle cause of the laughing thing. Now he was issuing a challenge, albeit subtle, that she couldn't carry through with her threat.
Buddy, it was on!
