Claude looked down his beak at the slightly nervous pidge from Baker's, and gave him a silent nod in recognition. It was suspicious, but as he pondered, it seemed unlikely he would have put himself in this position. 'Just an unlucky accident?', 'Was it a set up?' or was this pidge just 'a brilliant actor with a nasty streak?'.
The body of the young witch was still fresh, and Claude needed all the information he could gather from this incident. A quick scout around of the professions of the gathered pidge revealed no medics on hand. They were located in the borders of Ma's, but still nearer to the neutral area of the message board. There would be pidge gathered there, surely there would be a doctor or a witch on hand.
"Red Light, make sure no one moves the body, and please everyone stay here until I return, We dont need panic to break out over this, we need to all pull together with this. whoever did this wants us to be shaken, dont give them that pleasure.
I'm going to get some medics to look her over while everything is still fresh"
With a grim voice, Claude glanced over the young birds body, he couldnt even hold his gaze. She was so young, taking to the air with a stoic face, every wing beat which brought him nearer to neutral land he pictured her cold body. This wasnt going to happen again, he wouldnt let it.

"Incoming! Clear a space, please!" Capp fluttered to the ground well out of range of the blood and surveyed the grisley scene. "Well . . . ." She was at a loss for words, which was rare. Seamstress always had gossip to share, and Capp was no exception. This though . . . . She took a deep breath and edged a bit closer. Time to go to work.

Pound followed along behind, noticing the stony faced pidge gathered atop and nearby to the lamp-post in question. There lying stock still was a young female witch, Pound knew she was from Ma's like himself, but he diddnt know her name. He was ashamed, here he was looking at a dead one of his flockmates and he never knew what she was called. It was one of those moments where he knew he was way too caught up in his work recently, so much so that he couldnt put names to most of the faces in his flock. She was lying on her front with her face to the side, she looked like she was just sleeping now, but a sheen of blood at her beak and the patch of it she was lying in suggested it was a violent death. He looked to the dappled witch next to him who was observing the body keenly. "This how she was found wasnt it? She was never moved?"Pound looked around the group and they shook thier heads, she hadnt been touched. He nodded and gave a grim smile. "Ok Good, So we should probably suss out as much as we can and then we'll shift her over, the wound must be somewhere under here"He motioned to the dead slates right side, where her wing lay limp, most of the blood was at that side, but it was bieng obscured for now.

Capp nodded as she edged closer to the body, keeping out of the blood. "Agreed. And I think we can both agree that this was no predator. There'd be more . . . evidence if there was."Capp shuddered at that, remembering the last time she'd been called for a Cat attack. There had been . . . pieces missing. "So it's one of us." She nodded to herself, and glanced around at the horrified crowd, hovering and fretting. "Right. You lot, get it together. Stay in the immediate area, but the doctor and I are going to need some assitance, and you're it. See if you can find anything that would have come from over here. Blood, lost feathers, anything . . . sharp."Confident she'd be obeyed, she turned back the the body, and Pound. "Gives them something to do, so they won't get hysterical," she said softly. "So what do you think?"

A big fat fluffy chick comes waddling over to the crowd. His tiny wings out stretched as he slowllyyy moved along to the back of the crowd accidentally bumping into one of the bigger adults. "Ooof!" His fluffly little body recoiled a bit as he was shoved back "'scuse moi!" he chirped as he got down and began to snake through the crowd to get a better look of what happened. He had been napping when he herd the ruckus of what happened and so he decided to get a little bit noisy as most chicks are. He didnt know quite where this place was but he followed a bunch of adults to the point. He peeked through another pidge's legs to get a better look at the scene but to his appointment he just could see the large mass of feathers making up all the adults that littered the crime scene. He then herd Iced Capp's request to find something pertaining to the crime..but the chick was interested in seeing the body and such.

Delacorte had moved closer to the gathering crowd, watching the story unfold in front of her. That poor pidge... Although her father had wanted her to leave, this was a crime scene and they both understood they couldn't simply leave. They had nothing to hide, so it seemed staying would do them no harm. Shadows stayed off to the side of the group, keeping to himself and an eye on Dela.
The snowy colored pidge had made her way into the crowd. Suddenly a bump at her side made Dela jump. "Oh! Sorry!" She apologized, even though the chick had bumped into her - A CHICK. "My goodness, what's a little thing like you doing here? This is no place for chicks." Delacorte tried to usher the small fluffy ball of slate away from the crowd and the body. "Where are you parents?"

Atlas jerked his head toward the fluffy white pigeon. Before he could let out a 'peep' (ahhh bad humor xD) he was on his feet and being escorted away from the scene. He whirled his fluffy head around and tried to reason with the white pigeon. "But Buuutttt!!" He squirmed. "All of the cool stuff is over there! Everyone is all over up there and I want to be too!" He paused for a few seconds still trying to gawk around for what happened. "Oh...mom is...I dunno!" He peeped and showed a little smile. Do YOU know what happened???" He said tilting his head. "Teh poliiiice and amboolance is over there. Did someone get hurt! OH OH I KNOW one lady said to look around for sharp stuff...wonder why?"

"I er - um..." Dela stammered. This chick was squeaking all kinds of nonsense she couldn't make out. She tired explaining what was happening at least. "Someone is very, very hurt." She couldn't have this chick poking around, especially by itself. As per usual, she invented a story.
"There was this terribly mean bird, with an eye patch. He loves to perch on that lamppost, and when he saw someone else there, he did not like it and pulled out a sharp thing and...Cut her!" Dela stated dramatically; hopefully the chick would be more scared than inclined to find such an outlandishly villainous pidge with an eye patch. "And they think he's going to hurt more pidge for being near his post. All the strong Patrol pidge can handle it. We should really find your mommy so you can be safe just in case though. I'm Delacorte Press, by the way." She considered asking the chick his name but still at his age all she'd get were many 'peep's. She'd probably be looking for a slate like her own da...

Exit was going to loose her mind. She'd always thought that one day her hatchlings would drive her mad, but it had only ever been as a joke. Atlas really would do it. He'd only just hatched, and he was already getting himself into mischief. How he could outmanoeuvre and outpace her just by waddling, was a mystery Once she caught up with him, however, he'd be stuck in the nest until he was old enough to be mated with chicks of his own. Provided he survived that long without her killing him. It was then she spotted some sort of crowd, and flew a bit lower to check the crowds for her little hellion. And sure enough, there he was, being herded away by a slightly worried looking young pidge. She descended and landed in a feathery bolt of maternal wrath. "Young man, you are in so much trouble."

"Hello there, I take it he's your's? There's been a bit of a...Murder and he was trying to wander near the crime scene so I couldn't let him see that...I'm Delacorte Press, nice to meet you." Dela blurted out of her beak and finished shyly. Any ounce of shyness that had previously been cleared away from the shock of finding the chick was back in the presence of the mother.

Atlas looked at Dela like "who do you think YOU are?" sort of manners. He tried to scoot away but ran right -SMACK- into his Mommy. The chick fell backwards and looked at his mama with an annoyed looked. "Oh pha...can't I get a piece of action here?" He thought to himself. He looked around for a way out this was just too cool to pass up a murder and evil pigeons. How awesome no...the DEFINITION of awesome.... While the two older adults were distracted he made a sliiiight attempt to waddle his fat feathery butt out of there and away from the adventure police.

Exit huffed as her son bounced off of her, and onto the ground. "You stay right where you are, young man!" She huffed again and made an attempt to settle her feathers. "Yes. I'm Exit Stage Right. The feathery hellion is my son Atlas." She stuck out a wing to block him as he made another escape attempt, but was soon distracted by Delacorte's comment. "Murder? You can't really mean- No. It can't be! Oh dear, oh dear. Do they have any idea what's going on?"

"Pleased to meet you, ma'am. I'm not sure of much, but it was a young lady from Big Ma's flock. I don't think it was a predator, or an accident...There's some Patrol members from Big Ma's flock here now to figure it all out." Delacote preened nervously. She had nothing to do with the murder, but it was all very upsetting.

It seemed to be an exciting morning already. Kishiko had just woken up and it seemed large group had converged upon one lamp post. Not one to miss information, the slate flew over, landing awkwardly to avoid slapping anyone off with her wings. However, even from this new vantage point she could see little of what was causing the commotion. So, she began to edge her way towards middle, stepping over a few chicks and ducking under some wings. But when she reached the center, her feather ruffled in shock. "What the feather happened here?" she murmured to know one in particular.
