He had a crush on someone else still? Kiki's smile twitched, but she nodded. "She's lucky to have someone protect her." She said, grinning before padding further into the forest, changing the subject. "The white deer~ We can't kill it though, okay? Promise me no hunting it? I don't want others to lose their chance to have their ailments cured, too!" She said, grinning at the male.

Demon noticed her twitch and sighed. " She was my first friend and pretty much my only one. There was just me and my brother and another kit in our tribe that we grew up in and it was a violent one. The other kit had his own deal and what not going on so I didn't bother him.She was the first person I meet out side of my tribe."He provided hoping it would help things. But he had a sinking feeling he was doing a horrible job and should just shut up. He followed her threw the forest not knowing where they were going since he hadn't been in the area before, "I promise I wont kill it when and if we find it. Though I'm curious to know why that is your first thought when it comes to me and this deer. Do you think me bloodthirsty and mean?" That wouldn't be good if she did.

"No. I just know foxes want to eat deer usually." She said, laughing softly. "Mom can't hunt. Daddy took her once to get fish when Uncle Desmon and Aunt Tithe left her with him, and she sobbed when she flicked a fish out of water. She had to put it back in the water or risk causing a scene. Daddy told us that story when we were born."
She laughed, shaking her head and moving through the bushes. "Daddy and Mommy are a strange couple. Uncle Desmon hates Daddy. He hates all boys."

Demon nodded in understanding "Well if it makes you feel better I'm more into rabbits and elk than deer. And I promise I will be able to provide for you. My dad was a hunter in our first tribe I watched and picked up some of the tricks." he said to reassure her some.
His ears perked at that " Um... should I try to pretend to be a girl when I meet him so I wont be on the receiving end of a claw??" He asked in a joking manner but he was wondering how that would go meeting her family.

She laughed, shaking her head. "Why would you need to provide for me?" She giggled, looking over at the male and smiling. "You don't look to womanly." She mewled, shaking her head. She liked Demon, but she didn't know that he was interested in her. No, she was slightly oblivious, much like her mother. She smiled up at Demon, laughing softly.
"Desmon is fairly smart." She mewled, proud of her "uncle Dessy."

Well now he would have to tell her he liked her... He wasn't ready yet but oh well right? Love doesn't wait or so he had been told. "Well...I..Uh you see. I like you and um... would like to date you and maybe hopefully one day be your mate." there he had said it and now he was nervous. So he hurried into the other topics. "True I might not look it but i'm sure if i asked my sisters they would help me. Think they would have fun doing it to." his nose messed up at that they would probably laugh at him.
"I'm he is very smart but I can be very tricky"

Kiki blinked, stopping in her tracks and letting out a nervous laugh at the words. He was joking, right? Her eyes stared at Demon, taken aback and even taking a step away. Her? He liked... her? Kiki looked down, pawing at the ground. "R-Really?" She said softly, tongue locked before she could say she liked him, too. Instead, she sputtered out something she hadn't wanted to say, which was: "Uncle Desmon would catch any trick you played on him!" Oh... oh god.. Why was she such and idiot?!

Demon watched her before replying "Yes really other wise I wouldn't say it." He sighed and an ear dropped at the mention of her uncle. It looked like he was going to have one heck of a time. "Well even the most sharp eyed fox can get a trick played on him. It just has to be really good," with that said he continued on threw the forest with her looking for this mystical deer.

She smiled softly, unsure what to say or even do. Did she want to be with him? She liked him, but... this girl he liked before.... Was she just a replacement? She shoved this thought aside, laughing softly. "Uncle Dessy is harder to impress than Aunt Tithe." She mused, shaking her head before padding beside Demon.
"What was she like.... the girl you liked?" She whispered, looking over at him.

Demon chuckled "I would be surprised it if it was any other way on who to impress."He knew it would be like that because males where protective over the family so make them selves harder to make sure no harm would come to anyone.
His voice softened. "She was the first Daeva I had ever meet. I am like you,have one normal parent and a Daeva parent. My father hated my mother and told us all these different things and said that all of them where a like. I never got to meet my mom so I don't know how true all that was but she was the first daeva I had meet and nothing like what my father said. It sparked interest and the fact that she would learn to fly soon I thought it was cool. She was weary of anyone other than Pre. He had been with her always and because most normal foxes view daeva's like my dad did I believe I shocked her...She was nice when she didnt have her walls up and I believe enjoyed teasing me and watching me make a fool of myself. But I don't know how to explain her. Its like someone asking me to explain you. I know you. I like you but how do I explain you? You are your own person and unique from everyone else. I'd have to tell em to go meet you and see what they thought."

"I see." She grumbled, looking away. She spotted a flicker in the woods, tail flicking side to side as she nudged Demon. "Want to check that out?" She questioned happily, padding ahead before he can answer. Maybe it was the deer? Oh! Then she could help Demon out for real! This excited her, the ability to help out her friend.
"I hope we can find it~" She mewled, turning to see if he was following, then turning back to explore the forest to follow the creature she had heard.

Demon frowned as he heard her grumble. Had he said wrong? He thought that was something that he was suppose to say that they both were unique in their own way and no replacement of each other. Maybe he had said it wrong...He had a bad habit of doing that.
"Yeah lets check it out maybe its your deer."He said with a chuckle.

She watched him for a brief second, happy when he agreed. She turned ahead, rushing ahead to find the white creature she had seen earlier. "I hope so!" She cooed, tail wagging a mile a minute. However, when she saw the flash of white again and chased after it she let out a sad wail, for all it was was a rabbit.
She lowered her head, looking to where Demon should be soon, and whimpered. "Just a stupid rabbit... Not a deer that can heal your ailments."

Demon watched Kiki run ahead and couldn't help but laugh. That little vixen was fast. It was good to know and he somehow took pride in knowing she could run. Demon trotted behind her letting her give chase to it.
When he finally made it to her side he looked around for the creature. "A rabbit huh? That could be a good sign. Dont rabbits tend to be by deer?"

She pouted, pawing at the ground in frustration. "I don't know." She grumbled, however turned to look at him again. "Well, we can't sulk here all day. We have to find it!" With this, she moved away from Demon to continue her search, nose against the ground as she tried to sniff out a deer. She'd find it! For Demon, so he could get better! She didn't want him to be limping forever, didn't it hurt? Kiki would be the one to make Demon feel better! Her!
She smiled at this thought, tail wagging. Then, Demon could be happy!
(( Lets have it so she never see's the deer. ))
