Oh, the trap is probably the guild banner. It was designed to provoke anger from creationists thus sparking debate. I'm astonished to see it still in people's sigs after all this time! It must be one of the longest-running banners on Gaia by now.

Why would you make a creationist guild just out of spite when there are plenty of creationists who would gladly make the guild without having an athiest run it? And a true Christian wouldn't be cynnical and unfair toward every athiest, unless all they were trying to do was just win an argument.

It wasn't made out of spite, it's not run by an atheist.

gigacannon I'm waiting until there is a large base of members for the creationism guild. I'll admit that it's very hard for me to run the creationism guild, but it's even harder to pick the right person to run it apart from me. The two most important features that are needed in a founder or leader are long-term presence on Gaia and ability to work hard. I need to watch people for a long time to do that. Also, I look out for people with good spelling and grammar. I'm very picky about that. It'll be a while before I pick anyone to run the creationism guild. I could be a moderator. I'm on Gaia often, and I can kick it into grammar nazi mode if necessary. I also know what is 'debate' and what is simply bashing another's beliefs or glorifying oneself. No one sided arguments or disproving anothers' theory without scientific proof.

People who got these plugs up their a** as much as their ears need to learn that Revolution is much a theory(key word; there is no proof of revolution) as Creationism(or this as a matter of fact) is. It all comes down to what you have faith in. I myself believe that we were created by a deity of sorts, but if I didn't it would probably be hard to kind of believe we were created from a puddle of soup confused But of course I can't explain that we were created by an omnipotent god. That wouldn't make it a faith now would it blaugh believing in something you can't see. Need to be careful about your "mountains of proof" lol. Or maybe you were just doing that to piss off people who don't have a hold on their emotions mrgreen Well if this guild happens to work don't make it a back and forth b***h slapping site that's what congress is for... gonk

Way to go, you caught me. Watcha gonna do now? You might as well accept me into your creationist guild, I've already applied. Says alot about what you think of us. I joined this guild to get your opinions, because I cared. Possibly to evangelize, but that wasn't the core intent. Until you know us, don't pass judgement. Of course we are biased...as are you... It's kinda hard for us not to be. Oh and what creationist trap would that be btw? Also if you read the average post from most creationists on this web site...You'll understand us a little better. heehee what goes around comes around man
