Nessie tilted her head as she considered, "That is...very interesting." She wrinkled her nose at the thought, making her teeth more prominent for a second time. "Are they nice usually? What do they act like?"

"The cerynei? I suppose you could say they're usually fairly nice.. thought there's always those out there that are considered the more.. fiendish of the bunch." She gave a small shrug and thought of how others could say that she was more or less a happy medium of the two sides. she wasn't necessarily evil and she wasn't sweet and harmless either. She knew she could be manipulative when it benefited her own ambitions and that didn't bother her.. in fact.. she accepted both the light and dark sides of her own being.

"Skin walkers.. they are said to be so evil that even a venomous snake will bow unto them and offer them what ever it may like so that they will allow the poor creature to live. They are said to have the power to shift into the shapes of the animal who's pelt they are always seen wearing." She shrugged it off as though it wasn't anything to really be frightened of. She for better or worse did not fear them. the only thing she really had against them was if they were to have ill intentions against her family or her mate.

Nessie tilted her head. "Vicious. I think...I remember hearing tale of them once...a very long time ago." She flicked her tail gently. "But there are none that roam the waters, we have...other things to fear here."

"Other things?? like what??" She wasn't accustomed to going out into the sea.. preferring the calm waters of her father's pond or her mate's swamp more. " What sorts of things are out there in the water?"

She eyed the water intently a moment. It almost seemed like it might be worth it just to see what it was this mare spoke of.. but sadly.. she couldn't breath the water.. no she could only hold her breath for long periods of time and the ocean seemed so much deeper than anything she was use to. " Huh.." She pondered a moment longer. " So you all just... live in fear?"

Nessie laughed, "No. No we don't. I can go deeper than others, but I cannot go to the bottom of some places. In one area, I am the monster they fear, and in another area....I fear a monster."

She gave it some thought. "Eh.. you could say that. the skinwalkers will sometimes leave heir own domain to venture out in search of.... 'play things' to amuse themselves with or just right out eat..." She smiled happy with her answer.

She Shook her head some. "Never.. though from what I've been told I should feel lucky for that I think." She gave a small grin and looked to the shore. "So you don't have hind legs?"

Nessie flashed her teeth again in a sort of smile, "Very lucky, I'd suppose." Flipping up her tail, she floated it to the water so her whole body length was viewable. "No back legs, just a tail." She flipped water over on her gently.
