Even if Rosie hadn't expected him to take her hand, the sight of a girl with short blonde hair extending her hand to him, stirred up some distant memories. As Rosie started to walk, Asch paused for a moment or two, staring after her quietly. He soon caught himself and squared his shoulders before moving after her in silence.

Tyke was more than happy to have an Eevee companion to play with. Even if it was a very strange color. The little Zorua returning the playful gestures as he play pounced, batted, and gave mock chase while still keeping up with the humans.

When Rosie was walking beside him, green eyes tilted to look at her sidelong for a moment before looking ahead again. Her questions drew and inward grimace as he tried to think of what to say. Obviously his "brother" wore his hair very differently.

"A local salon," he replied at first, taking a moment before replying to her next question. "I just wanted something different," this said with a roll of his shoulders.

Distracted for a moment while once arm carefully tucked securely under the Charmander, this though freed her other arm, that she tucked behind her back as she continued to lead the way, walking with a bright step as she usually did.

Melody, while draped over Rosie's arm, her interest mostly on the two playing pokemon, tail flailing around behind her happily.

Local salon, she smiled at this answer, looking back over at him "Its quite the change, but I like it," Sometimes a change was fun.
"I really like the color." She commented, blue eyes glancing over the length of his hair once again, tilting her head a little.
"Kinda makes me miss having long hair." She said with a small laugh, pulling her arm back up to tug at a lock of her shorter hair.

Shine probably should have been paying more attention to where he was going, he was young, and absent sometimes in what exactly he was doing. But at the moment he was having fun with this new pokemon, another boy to rough house with! he always had to be careful with the girls, Valani was so sensitive, and Melody so young.
Vahy'n was good about keeping an eye on him though, the blue striped Vaporeon glancing from the human boy that was walking with them, to the two playing pokemon as they got closer to the human's legs.
she reminded them, gently.

Following along quietly, Asch watched Rosie with little interest as she continued on about his hair. Sighing softly, he closed his eyes briefly and then tilted his head to look the other way. "Then why don't you grow it out?" He said back mildly, feeling just a little guilty for not being entirely honest with such a naive girl. She was far too trusting.

Tyke was more than happy to play with Shine, for he tried to play with as many small Pokemon as he could. After all, he usually only had Saber to play with, and finding other Zoruas or Pokemon like Shine were few and far between. He didn't waste any opportunities!

The little Zorua made another pounce, growling playfully, until his ears perked up at Vahy'n's reminder. He then bounded over to her with a big grin on his face. "" And in a flash of light, his appearance changed to mimic the unique Vaporeon.

At his question she lowered her hand from her hair, her expression thoughtful for a moment, considering this.
"Now that I'm graduated maybe I should let it grow out a little, I think a new chapter in my training calls for a new change in my looks."
Having longer hair again would be fun, probably not as long as she used to have, but she would play around with it.

Her attention was drawn down when she noticed a flash, lips parting slightly when there was suddenly two Vany'n walking with them.

the Vaporeon tilted her head softly, joined by the jingle from the golden chain on her fin, Looking down at the younger dark type, and meeting him with a gentle, kind smile of her own.

She did blink when he took on her form, head lifting a little, having to admit, it was a strange thing to stare back at herself.
She commented with another look of amusement.

"It looks like Tyke and Shine get along pretty well, maybe we should train them together, they seem like they would make good training partners." she suggested, looking back over at the boy she was walking with.

"Tyke gets along with any Pokemon his size," Asch replied to Rosie's observation. The offer to have them train together though, caused his brows to raise slightly, "Sure." He didn't mind having a friendly battle, and his Pokemon could always use the practice, although he would have to be careful. He didn't actually know how good of a trainer that idiot was, if he was one at all.

The Zorua turned Vaporeon grinned broadly at Vahy'n's compliment, the expression looking rather out of place on the face of such a normally serene looking Pokemon. "" With that, Tyke's illusion disappeared and the Zorua continued to trot along looking as he normally did.

She nodded once, happily when he agreed with her request.
"Shine's learned some new moves, they're not very strong but he's proud of them." She added with a small smile, looking down at the Pink Eevee.
He was still one of her newest, and youngest, and still had some training to go before he got the hang of really battling.

Rosie looked down at the two pokemon. "What do you guys think? some training after lunch?"

Vany'n tilted her head slightly, looking from Tyke, to glance up at the man who looked like Luke.
She said, looking back at Tyke.

Asch didn't say much and just continued following Rosie, and simply took mental notes about this girl. She had some nice Pokemon, particularly that Vaporeon, but he had no interest in stealing except under orders. He had no idea where Rosie planned to go for lunch, but Asch was content to just tag along and observe.

Tyke trotted along happily, glad to be associating with other Pokemon. His ears perked up at Vahyn's statement though and the Zorua glanced between the two humans. "" Tyke hadn't really been paying all that much attention to what the humans had been saying.

Rosie spoke to her Pokemon as they walked, looking down at Melody and Shine who was not trotting next to her, his ears perked high as he smiled up at the blond trainer.

It didn't take them much longer to get where they were going.
It was a little Italian place, very cute, as Rosie would say.
She ordered what she wanted, and something for her pokemon as well. before letting her human companion decide what he wanted to order.

Vany'n continued to lend her attention to tyke, making sure to not walk to fast so he had an easier time keeping up.

Italian huh? It's been a while since he'd gone somewhere for that kind of food. But Asch was certainly not unfamilar with it. He'd even made some Italian dishes himself a few times. Rosie's choice was not at all disagreeable. It didn't take long for him to decide, and Asch ordered some Chicken Parmigian for himself, but refrained from getting anything for his Pokemon. He had poffins for them, and that would suffice.

Tyke's ears folded back at Vahy'n's words as he came to sit beside his master once they had entered the restaurant and the humans had made their orders. ""
PostPosted: Sun Jul 10, 2011 9:06 pm

There were places to sit outside, and seeing as they had a group of young and active pokemon with them. Rosie lead the group over to one of those tables instead.
It was a beautiful day after all, no need to waist it.

"So did you get to see much more of the city? Did you find anything else fun to do?" She asked, sitting Melody on her lap, the Charmander chewing on the fire end of her own tail.

Vany'n glanced up at Asch, than over to Tyke again.

Once they found a place to sit, Asch rested his chin in one of his hands and stared past Rosie. "I've seen it," he told her distantly, although he truthfully hadn't found anything particularly "fun" in this city. Granted he spent much of his time at HQ or on missions and thus couldn't get away to see all of it. It did cause him to wonder what his doppleganger was actually doing to keep himself busy. However, Asch soon realized he wasn't exactly being good company for being a "friend" of this girl. His green gaze soon when back to her. "How is your training going?" She was obviously a Pokemon trainer, so he had to assume she actually trained her Pokemon once in a while.

"" The little Zorua sighed a bit, wishing he could do more to make his master less angry.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 11, 2011 6:41 pm

He has been there long enough to see quite a bit of the city, she knew that.
A slight giggle joined his rather uninterested reply, not bothered by it.
"Maybe its time for new cities than."
She offered, half joking... though it was something she considered herself for training.

and speaking of training! He had brought it up with the next question.
She looked up from Melody, arching her eyebrows before sitting up a little higher. "Its going well,We've been working hard every day. The little ones to."
Half of her team was made up of three older pokemon, those were her strongest, the others were young, and new, but they had promise,
"OH! I just graduated!" she noted, excitedly. "I want to start doing some more serious training, but I'm still working out just how. People keep recommending going to one of the League regions..." she tilted her head at this, seemingly uncertain about this idea, even if it did sound fun, and a good opportunity.
"How about you? how is your training going?"

Vany'n listened to the Zorua say this, looking over to the two humans after a moment, yellow eyes fixed on the one that looked like Luke... so there was a story behind this... what was it?

"Maybe," he said quietly, that frown remaining on his face. But as Rosie started chatting about training, Asch gave her his full attention. He glanced down at the Pokemon around their feet, particularly the Vaporeon, whose eyes locked with his for a moment. It seemed that the girl was no stranger to training with a Pokemon like that, but obviously not a pro either.

"If you want to become a stronger trainer, you should go to one of the League regions," the red head stated matter-of-factly. It was common sense after all. One couldn't become a better trainer if they never had any worthy opponents and this region lacked a league, and thus competent trainers were in short supply.

Arms were folded across his chest as Asch leaned back in his chair. "Fine," was the curt reply. He didn't want to get too far into that, lest she ask about Pokemon that he didn't actually have.

Well, Rosie wasn't expecting a direct answer like that from Luke, especially about something that Luke was just starting to get into like Pokemon training, or anything that involved the League.
He must be doing his homework, very cool~

She tilted her head, looking over at the server when their drinks were brought out,
Rosie thanked the women, lifting her glass of strawberry Italian soda up to stir it together with her straw as she considered his very straight forward suggestion.

Melody laid her claws onto of the table, wide gray eyes staring at the clear cut as the creamy pink mixture was blended with the soda-water, clearly fascinated.
"Chaaar"

"I know your right." She said, blue eyes lifting back up to find him.
She smiled, knowing she didn't need to go over why she didn't want to leave with him, he had heard it before.
"Its not like I would be gone from Kodo forever... and I do want to be as strong as I can, for everyone." She nodded, pausing long enough to put the straw in her mouth and sip lightly.

"... Hey, Maybe, If I do decide to go off the island, you and Guy might come with me? I hear that traveling with friends helps a lot, and you wanted to see new places, right?"
She sounded a little hopeful here, maybe a little more than she intended, but Rosie wasn't very good at hiding what she was feeling. And going to a League reagon with her friends would be great! ... She would be uneasy going alone. She would, if she had to.
But this was assuming she made the decision to even go.
"It might be a good opportunity."

Asch was mildly surprised at the offer Rosie extended to him. Although, it actually wasn't to him, but to Luke... and that wasn't him anymore. The red head's eyelids then drooped slightly in a brief look of sadness and then a flash of anger as he turned his head away.

He didn't actually know what Luke was like, but Asch knew that if his twin was anything like him, he'd take her up on that offer. It would be stupid not to. Asch would have done it, but someone else was living his life now. A pang of bitterness struck his heart as he knew he could never have that sort of freedom.

"I'll think about it," he answered gruffly, then looked at his own drink that had been placed before him. It was an italian soda also, except this one was an orange flavor. That was the best answer Asch could give. He knew he couldn't go, even if the offer had been extended to him, but he had no idea how the other would respond.
