yeomso i just didn't know what/who he was until i read her bio. got confused for a second.
last question: how long can she hold the smoke within her?
Until she needs to use it.

When you said smoke visor, does it mean that she can see the places that puff goes? Or just that when it passes through, she can sense if theirs a living creature their?
In the 'extension' description, I can't help but to remember green lantern or seiku's Pink Jinn.
And her enhanced senses, I find it difficult that she can heighten her sense of smell and still doesn't have a sense of taste, for me they go hand in hand but they are indeed independent senses, but sometimes when you smell something you also know what it taste like right? Being that most flavors are smell, also goes with how bad it smells, you can almost taste it. But then again, she's a character that can inhale smoke...I just find it difficult to grasp for now.
I see that she can be like a ninja that goes "poof! I'm outa here"
Yeah who is this Corduroy, and can she speak with him or have a conversation ...in her head, because he is inside her...right? He doesn't seem to be a demon, but just an imprisoned soul or something. And that old dead witch...(is she her mother)? hehe
But why just now? I mean that incident happened when she was thirteen but why do go in the academy when she's 16 / 17 years of age? Why not 14 or 15? What did she do or what happened during those time?
She grew up with a brother and a father, so she's a bit tomboy?

-Well, I'd be lying if I said I totally wasn't thinking of Green Lantern when I wrote that part up~ x'D

They don't smell like anything~ [- derpfaise -] 8'D
Lul. Her sense of smell is enhanced in a weird way, and not in the way you think it is...I think. She can't smell anything any better, but certain things about a smell get picked up easier; it doesn't mean she knows what it'd be.
. . .I need to find a way to phrase that better.
-Not as well as an actual Ninja, but she can sure try~ :'P
-Corduroy is not just in her head. He's his own entity but is only visible by those who house him.
Kinda like when someone gets possessed, but in Corduroy's case...extremely less...extreme.
So, they can't communicate with minds alone; she'll speak out loud, forgetting she's usually the only one who can see him.
And yes, Corduroy is not an actual demon. I use the term 'Demon Spirit' to define both his ties to the mortal realm(he needs to live in a human body to stay), and his wicked and 'fallen angel'-like air.
No, he's not a fallen angel.
The old lady is not Clowrey's mother, and holds less importance to this story than it appears~
But I'd rather not reveal too much so soon~ ;'P
-Well, Clowrey has a history with not following authorities and such. Like with her Sifu Steel, who got so frustrated he kicked her out(there's no bad blood between them, though).
She's the kind of person who'd try to do things her own way first...She doesn't want to rely on others and would end up going the 'undisciplined' way if she had to follow orders.
She's applying now, because that sort of attitude isn't getting her anywhere. Clowrey realizes she needs training and from someone who's more educated with the whole Super Power thing.
As well, she's trying to keep her having Powers just between her and her family.
-The Tomboy bit of her mostly came up from her dad reading adventure-type tales, actually.
Since Tasea is based off Asian countries and stuff...'A girl is a girl, and boy is a boy' idea pops up. But I'm going a bit more lax on that~ :'3

Oh, you know those laser pointers at the museums that is someone passes right through them, security will be activated, in this case Clowrey. Or is it just like a hovering camera?

It's her Visor that would get the 'physical' state.

Oh, she's not in a physical state at that time then?
I thought it would be cool, when she places a small puff to some places and gets alerted when someone walks in e.g. like her room or when 'Hey don't you dare eat my pudding!?' (not that she can taste but I think she'll love it's texture right? ...well I do XD)

Clowrey is made of flesh and blood.

She makes a 'visor' out of smoke to cover her eyes, and with another puff of smoke send it where she needs it to go.
I thought about that, but as of right now she's still a Rookie. Her smoke can't stay too far, too long from Clowrey.

You know, no matter what name you end up picking, Zax will call her Purple Haze. (So think about using that. =P )
And I think she should having a smoking habit; it makes sense. She already is used to the taste and she can use the smoke. I mean, at her age, there's some issues, but are people really going to stop her when she's breathing in car exhaust?
Maybe if they ever got along, in the future, they could have a Fire and Ice relationship going on. (The Justice League International characters, in case you were wondering.)

Fire was a Justice League member who had green flame powers.
Ice was a Justice League member who had ice powers.
So the two of them were "Fire and Ice" and they used to team up and fight since they had opposite powers.
They're from my favorite incarnation of the JL, Justice League International.

Finally! Someone let me out of my cave...
I really want to give you a good critique on this because you have OBVIOUSLY worked very hard, but I can't really find anything to pick on xDD
Overall, great quest! A LOT of information to process (which is good, but I had to read this in two sittings xD).
For names, how about just... Myst?
Hmm... just a thought for you to play with: what if she could suck the oxygen out of a room and therefore strangle someone? (at a later more advanced stage, of course). Just throwing out some random thoughts xD
...Now, time for me is nothing cos I'm counting no age
