Zac gave a soft chuckle... "Anything is possible anywhere if you only have the right tools." He shrugged and declined to elaborate further. "So... which are you supposed to be... Criminal Mastermind or Brute?" He said with emphasis towards the latter. It may or may not have been some indication of where he -suspected- Rick fell. "Or are you one of those rare exceptions who's just too smart to be a brute but isn't quite Professor Moriarty either?" He said and tilted his head.

"I'd like to think I was a bit of a rare exception. Not all of us athletic types are completely without brain, you know. Although I'm sure it doesn't help the argument much that most of us, at the very least, like to have someone to follow... Even if we're busy boasting our own strengths." He pushed off of the table, smirking as he uncrossed his arms to reach for a book.
"Moriarty, though... Now there was one tricky b*****d. And a professor at that."

He raised his eyebrows in surprise at the admiration AND knowledge of the fictional mastermind. "Very much so, books will carry you only so far if you haven't intuition and wisdom to utilize what you've learned." He nodded and then looked thoughtful.
"And...have you as an exception to the rule, found someone to follow?"

"There are a lot of people out there like that, you know. Way too much smarts and not nearly enough smarts. It takes a true genius to be able to properly utilize both... And for your other question?" His brow quirked as he looked at the other boy for a moment before reaching past him, snagging a book off of the shelf before turning away.
"Maybe. Maybe not... Every now and then I like to blaze my own path, but under the right circumstances? I'd follow." Giving Zac that to think about he began to head away from the table, glad that the other wouldn't be able to see the smirk on his lips with his back to him.
