"True enough." He agreed. He did seem to forget that she was flesh and blood, and while lightning wouldn't harm him, it could very well kill her. That was if she was unlucky enough to get struck by it.
"Nah, you're fine. I don't think you have to worry much anyways. But if you do have any problems, let me know and I'll beat the crap outta' whoever it is." He offered with another toothy grin. After all, he'd jump at the chance to give Ren a good solid punch or three. "I think he mentioned he had a ghoul friend though." He mentioned. "Unless he lied." He finished with a shrug. He wasn't sure what to think, nor did he care.
"Ehhh... Long story short, he got mad that I got him soaked and wouldn't get him a towel. Things just... kind escalated from there."

Tahki gave Tybalt a warm smile at the offer. It certainly made her feel all that much better to know he'd protect her if she needed it. If it was a ghoul friend though, the gryphon had her doubts that she'd be attacked. Maybe. Still it made her feel a lot better to have Tybalt on her side.
"Thank you Tybalt," Tahki gave him a sincere trusting grin. "I-If you need anything you can always ask me too. You've done so much for me today. First the headphones, then walking me back to the dorms and now offering to beat up some one. I-I'm truly.. honored."
"Oh.. Things happen some times I suppose. " She tilted her head at Tybalt. Really she was unsure how kids her age worked half the time. Was it the norm to not get some one a towel after they got soaked? The gryphon assumed so and wrote it off her mental check list. Not to get some one a towel next time they got soaked.
"T-tybalt... Umm... you can count on me if you ever need anything," Tahki looked away shyly.

"Sure." He said, not wanting to reject her kind offer. "Oh! Heh! don't worry about it. It's nice to hang around with someone once in a while." He admitted, while keeping a easy pace for her to walk with. He could see the dorm buildings up ahead now. The monster dorm further off, but in view. It wouldn't be too long before they arrived at their destination.
"I suppose so. Though I still say it's his own fault sitting too close to the water in the fountain!" He added stubbornly. Never. Was he going to admit that he was also at fault. That said, Tybalt continued walking. Stopped only when Tahki spoke again.
"Thanks, Tahki. You can count on me too, kay?" He said. His smile growing to a grin before he spoke again. "I guess this makes us friends now." He pointed out, not at all upset at the idea of befriending the gryphon ghoul. She was nice. A little shy maybe, but nice. The complete opposite of what he first expected.

The monster dorms were indeed growing in view as the two continued their walk through the storm. Though, at least for now, Tahki was content walking and talking with out freaking out about the lighting. Then again the lightning hadn't struck in a good few moments either nor had Thunder rumbled over head.
Tybalt talking about the fountain event got a bit of a chuckle from Tahki. "You know the irony is. Were both wet right now talking about Ren being wet.. errr .. do ghosts get wet?" At least Tahki found it funny for what ever reason.
"R-really? Friends?" Tahkis eyes grew a little in size. The gryphon was shocked to have made a friend! She didn't have very many of those. "Y-YEAH!" Tahki covered her mouth, that had been just a little loud but the gryphon couldn't help it. A friend? Like Amrita maybe?
The monster dorm gates were getting closer and closer now. Tahki hadn't been paying to much attention and actually walked right into them. Though it didn't seem to bother her. It had been a light bump and she was just so happy right now.

"Hmm..?" He stopped momentarily to look up at the sky; allowing the rain to hit his face. "Not really." He shrugged and looked back towards Tahki. She on the other hand, was soaked. Hopefully she wouldn't catch a cold from this.
"Yep!" He smiled and followed after again; only realizing the gates a second to late to warn the gryphon ghoul. Thankfully, she seemed to be alright. In fact, she didn't even fazed by it. If anything she just looked really happy. So in order to save her the embarrassment, he decided to pretend like he hadn't seen it happen.
"Well! Looks like your back, safe and sound." He said; grinning again, before he pushed open the gates and looked inside. The monster dorm was huge. Much bigger than the ghost dorm if you included all the different areas that branched off of it. That was sure. But that was probably because monster types seemed to have different needs, whereas ghosts didn't.

"Thank you Tybalt. You really saved me..." Tahki looked over her shoulder back at the dorms and then turned her attention back to Tybalt. "You know where to find me now kinda."
The gryphon gave a small wave to the ghost before turning to the dorms completely and heading back in side. Before Tahki entered the dorms though she turned around and shouted.
"I HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" Which caused her to cover her mouth in embarrassment and quickly duck back in the dorms. She really meant it though. Tybalt seemed like a very kind ghost, specially helping her with her headphones.

Tybalt waved back as the gryphon ghoul made her way back to the doors of the dorm building. His grin growing wider when she called back to him.
"You bet! See you around, Tahki!" He called back, before turning around to head back to his own dorms. The storm was over the worst, so he might as well go back in and sort things out for classes the next day. Who knows, maybe Tahki would be in one of the classes.
