When Kagome began to depart, Neo was about to reach into another compartment of his drawer to take the medicine that he created to suppress his disease, before those blue eyes looked back up to the young Uchiha when she gave him additional information. Information that indeed made his tiny speculations become more solid but it was far too early for him to make a concrete decisions on what the motives of this man was. Neo would have to research the archives of all the Uchiha in the village and see if any of them would best be known as 'Ghosts'; or at least deem themselves that once he has the time to himself.

"So he said he'd return, hmm? Well that makes it all the more prudent that he be found." Neo sighed softly and somewhat weakly rose from his chair as he walked the short distance towards the large window that lay behind him; staring briefly out into the village before continuing, "I am glad that you are confident in your abilities Kagome-ren. You have done well since you've been in my village and I applaud your fighting prowess. But your youth doesn't seem to play in your favor against this man. Do not be angry that I say such words. I speak the words of a man who has seen death at an early age. Who has seen and had his friend's blood covered upon his hands and crying with them as their lives fade from their eyes. For you generation, I hope not to lose more young lives." Neo looked over his shoulder to the girl, holding a rather warm, yet solemn aura to those eyes before shaking his head and looking back out to his view of the village, "I will not pry... but I have reasoning to believe you may be holding back something a bit from the story you speak of. You show... resistance when you told me of your plight. Excuse me for intruding so, but it was just a minor thing that I noticed." If Kagome would speak on the matter to his response, Neo would simply raise his hand to silence her in a polite manner though stern. "Whatever your reasons are for not telling me are your own. I shall respect it, for if you wished to tell me, you would have spoken of it from the beginning." Moving back to his chair and taking a seat at his desk, Neo rested a little in his chair, taking a moment to collect his thoughts on the matter and what he should say next, before dropping it for now and moving on to the more serious matters.

"As far as helping you with Genjutsu, that I can do. But I should let you know, that your ability with Genjutsu will surpass mine with the eyes you have been given. During my life, I have only faced a Uchiha once in a true "To Death" battle. The Sharingan, it seems, has stages of development that become stronger over the time they are used, which magnify the power of it's ocular abilities and ultimately give you more usage of it. What those Stages entail and the powers of them, I am afraid I am at loss. To the Uchiha that I had befriended, some secrets that won't truly tell me. And I have not fought one enough to truly figure out the abilities yet. Rather only a Uchiha of wisdom of the Clan, can tell you the knowledge you see Kagome-ér." He said before shaking his head, looking over to his right just as Jase entered once more through the window. "Back already, Jase-ren?" Neo said as he moved to grab his medicine before his body is pushed too far and he'd be incapacitated by a fury of coughs. From the middle right drawer, lay a silver tin canister that held the liquidated contents of Neo's custom medicine. It was a temporary fix against his illness until he can find a more permanent solution. As Neo un-screwed the lid, the rather strong smell of mint and gin would gingerly permeate through his office before nodding to Jase's questions, "Dui... This is the youth of the Uchiha that I spoke about." He said a little softly before cocking his brow a bit when it seemed that Jase had already heard of the story. Maybe the attack was starting to spread throughout the city? Then again, Kagome didn't seem like the sort to speak about such personal matters like that, so maybe one of the Uchiha members of the village caught view of what had occurred and started speaking. This little wave of knowledgeable citizens of the situation, may rather work to his advantage, for it might work out that slime ball from where ever he is hiding; if in fact he was bold enough to stay in his village after such a stunt.

As the two conversed, Neo began to sip his medicine, winced at the truly loud taste it held but knew he must drink it if he wanted his strength to be at its full; especially with what was going on now. Although, the Hokage wasn't just lounging about and sitting there taking a drink as Kagome continued on with her story once more. Hearing it again, helped his already processing mind of the situation, putting about new possibilities as to what may have been the motive, and the chain of affects because of those motives. Neo continued to think, even when Jase proposed an idea to him, putting another available card to the table for action. What Jase proposed was an idea, but the outcome of it was risky. If Neo was in the place of this assailant and his target was the Uchiha siblings, the altercations between the two would only be a farce to get to what he truly desired; their eyes. Then again their eyes, if he remembered correctly, are too underdeveloped to mean anything to one seeking power, so trying to deprive the youth of their blessings seemed unnecessary at the moment. So many decisions and outcomes simply made Neo's headache, even more so since he held no recollection of who this attacker was. Thinking for a moment, Neo had another plan that would suit the situation better. For though Jase's plan was good, it seemed more so like a mocking move. As if mocking or taunting the man to reveal himself. That is something he doesn't wish to happen, as the situation would go south... quickly. Looking to Kagome, Neo gave a comforting smile to the youth and spoke in kindly to her in attempts to ease her mind; and by sending her back to her sister, it might just ease the tension he noticed growing within the girl since Jase's announcement to be her Sensei. "Kagome-ér... We will look into this and assure you it will be dealt with post haste. Now... return to your sister. I am sure she is awaiting for your return. You Sifu will be there momentarily. Should you need food, just go and request it at my expense. Tell them to put it on my tab, alright?" Neo said softly as he made it kindly known that he had to speak to Jase privately, while still giving Kagome the respect and comfort of being protected by that who is the beacon of the village.
