"Oh!" Izumi turned her head around, looking away from the gunked up toaster, and at Jerome with a small smile. "Um- W-when I finish fixing this, would you like some lunch?" She turned back to the toaster. "I-it's lunch time, a-and I haven't eaten yet... And you're here." The blue haired girl sighed, "I was in the middle of making lunch... but... um... Wheatley helped."

And now she was inviting the guy... who technically did break into her home, to have lunch.
Jerome would face palm if it wasn't that obvious.
The different in him and the other people who would break in, is that Jerome won't hurt Izumi, and at least they are a little familiar with one another.
Though he hesitated, watching her, he gave a short nod "Yeah, sure, I haven't eaten lunch yet" he said,
Casting a glance over to the white Beldum. "he helped?"

"Yay!" Izumi said cheerfully, proud of herself for actually having company over for lunch. "Um- yeah. Wheatley was helping me make sandwiches, but, I think he decided to put the peanut butter and jelly in the toaster with the toast to save time... Which, technically, would be more efficient... if it worked." She chuckled sheepishly, the way someone would when telling a story about how their child stuck penny's in their nose, or the dog got its head stuck in a cardboard tube and they were embarrassed at the lack of thought something they were responsible for had actually had.
Jerome didn't break into her home, he walked in, and technically had been checking on her. That made him completely different from a burglar.

"Oh, yeah? bet that made a mess" He noted, walking over to look at the toasted and what had happened to it.
"Peanut butter and Jelly huh? ain't seen one of those since elementary school." He admitted, He remembered enjoying them to, heck he remembered stealing other kid's lunches and most of them had peanut-butter and jelly.

Izumi smiled brightly at Jerome, "Oh! I'm really good at them! I think you'll like it." Yes, she was talking about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The engineer demonstrated her skill at the dish by grabbing the bread bag, untwisting the tie, and promptly dropping it. "Oops... Um-" She picked the bag back up and put the toast in the toaster.

He watched her, unsure of what to say, but when she dropped the bag, a grin spread over his lips, "Haa haa. Alright, well... want me to do somethin' than?" He asked, pulling his hands out of his pockets and stepping over to the counter next to Izumi.
Huh, who would have thought, Jerome in a kitchen with a naive little mechanic making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, totally not the image he usually portrayed, but, at the same time he didn't really care. There was more to Jerome than image anyway. He didn't care about image, not anymore.

"Um- C-can you get the squeezie jelly?" She said as she stared intently at the toaster, waiting for the toast to pop up, jar of peanut butter in hand. The jelly was likely in the fridge. Izumi smiled, it was nice to have someone over for lunch, she hadn't really ever had that happen before.

"Sure" He replied, reaching a hand out in a gesture to pat one of her Beldom on its eye as he passed, pulling open the fridge to look for the jelly.
And he found it, sitting there on the first shelf, that was easy.
Reaching in to pull it out, he paused when he saw another one on the same shelf... he looked to another shelf, and there was another one... and here three more in the door.
"Uh..." He said after a moment, looking between a very wide range of jelly. "What one do you want?"

"Oh, um. Whatever you'd like." Izumi pulled the toast out of the toaster when it popped up and placed the hot slices of bread on a pair of napkins. "What are you in town again for?" Izumi sounded curious, "Isn't your place far away?" The night Jerome slept on her couch, he'd told her that he'd recently moved out of the city and that his new home was a bit of a drive away.
The Beldum with the orange eye clicked a few times when Jerome gave it a pat, and then proceeded to stare at the odd human.

Jerome didn't seem bothered to be stared at, if he noticed at all.
His focus was on the fridge with the many jelly selection. "Ya must really like PBnJ" He added, grabbing the first one he could reach, not really caring what the flavor was.
Pulling back away and closing the door, he walked back over to the counter, and placed the bottle onto it.
"Ya mentioned my MP3 was finished, didn't have anythin' to do today, so I'm dropppin' by to pick it up."

"I'm good at making them." Izumi repeated cheerfully, leaving out the small bit about how they were the only thing she could make. She smiled, "Oh- That makes sense. I did tell you that, didn't I?" The girl started constructing the sandwich, laying the foundation of peanut butter on each slice. "It's downstairs. I'm sorry I couldn't save the hard drive."

Again he waved a hand at the mention of the hard drive, clearly showing that it wasn't that big of a deal.
"S'no big deal, ain't somethin' that would be hard to get back anyway. Could probably go for some new music anyway."
Leaning against the counter, with his arms crossed over his chest, glancing over to watch what she was doing. "I saw it down there, looks better than it did before." He noted. it was nice and shiny now, looked brand new... if he knew what it looked like when it had been brand new.

Izumi neglected to mention that PBJ was about the only thing she could make. Being good at assembling a basic sandwich was about as high as her skill in the kitchen went--Unless you were referring to her skill with the actual appliances in the kitchen.
It didn't take long before one of the sandwiches was put together, cut into two triangles, and being held out to Jerome on a paper plate. "Here you go!" Izumi said cheerfully, proud of how well the lunch time snack had come out.

When the sandwich was offered to him, he took it, holding the plate as he leaned against the counter, picking up one of the triangles and biting into the warm toasted bread.
Wasn't bad, tasted like a PB&J sandwich, not really something thats easy to mess up.
It was a very simple lunch, but he wasn't complaining.
"Ever had it with banana's?" he asked, remembering the kind of sandwich he used to like as a little kid.

Izumi's mouth hung open in shock, her own sandwich inches in front of her gaping maw. "No..." She said breathlessly, as if Jerome had just shared something amazing with her. "I'll try that next time!" She announced with joy as she took a bite of her simple sandwich.
