"They announced a three-legged race," Era informed him and the kids, "And there are plenty of games and rides around to go look at." The Pikachu looked around, starting to get a bit excited for the events to start. "Should we stick together or split up?"
"I want to enter the three-legged race!" Faran said excitedly, "Please can I? Pleeeeeeaaaase!" The Vulpix jumped up and down on his paws, bursting with energy. His tails were waving excitedly and the adults exchanged glances.
"I'll watch over him," Ethfael said, slightly exasperatedly. "We'll meet up with you later," he told Era, with a dark look a Riley who merely smiled. He didn't want to leave Era alone with the Eevee, but someone had to go with Faran. "Let's go get you signed up," he said to the Vulpix who raced ahead to go put his name on the list, Ethfael following after him.
"What that?" Phione spoke up, pointing at a towering ride that was in the distance with wonder.
Era smiled, "That's a Ferris Wheel," she replied, "It's a ride that they have at carnivals. Would you like to go on it?"
"Yes yes!" Phione said, spinning about with delight.
"Alright, let's go then!" Era said with a smile.
Riley smiled, "You two go on ahead," he told them cheerily, "I'm going to check out the games first. I'll catch up with you later." And with that, they split off to go enjoy the festivities.Tris & Maestro "Hey! Hey look! A three-legged race!" Tris said, his bouncing increasing in energy, "Let's go sign up!" There was really no room for Maestro to argue, his partner continuing to drag him along. It was a rather comical sight actually, a Spoink bouncing along and pulling a far larger Skarmory after him. Tris put both of their names on the list and grinned, "This will be great!" he said with excitement.
"Oh definitely," Maestro replied sarcastically, his expression dark, "Just great."((Faran, Maestro & Tris are signed up))

( Red & Blue & Purple )"Ugh, I can't believe we're late..." Blue said, looking down at Red. His right paw was held out in front of him, it was wet with a few soap bubbles still lingering on it. Reds coat was squeaky clean now ,though, so one could probably guess what held them up.
Purple followed close behind them, walking and not running as they had. The bipedal Rattata looked calm, despite being late, as he tapped both Blue and Reds arms. Once he grabbed their attention, he pointed over to all the other guild members walking behind an Espeon. "We better get a move on" He said, walking with them. The two looked, glared at each other, and then began to walk behind the elder.
It wasn't long before they arrived at some kind of town, and it was announced that there was a carnival here. Red tilted her head, "Whats that?" She asked aloud, turning to Blue for help. He really wished he had the answer...but he didn't. "I've heard of it...its supposed to be fun but I'm not sure what you do there..." he replied. Living in the woods had its disadvantages sometimes, this could be considered one of them.
"A carnival is very fun, actually. Its something kids prefer more than adults, but everyone leaves with a smile. There are games and rides and prizes galore!" Purple explained, followed by an "oh" from both Blue and Red. The Vulpix looked down at her paws, "c-can we go?" she asked. The Rattata only laughed and nodded. He would take them, no problem.
There was a Lucario who appeared asking for people to participate in a three legged race. Red looked over to Blue with a joy in her eyes, she wanted to race and he was going to be her partner. Blue had no choice, he would either go willingly or she would force her into it...as he went over to sign up for the race. Once he finished and came back, Red smiled, "Thankyouthankkyouthankyou! Oh, lets go to the carnival and come back to participate later!" She told him, grabbing his paw with her mouth and dragging him into the carnival, Purple following behind them once more with the five free tokens they were given in hand as he placed them in Blue's sack.

The Lucario once more arrived on the stage and began his announcement.
"One and all, the race is about to begin! To those who have signed up, please gather! The race will begin in just a few minutes!"

The race is nice and simple! Your first post includes the start of the run, though feel free to include the time you spent getting tied together.
To run, roll 2d4! More specifically, Post Action: Roll dice. 4-sided, and roll two! The difference between these two is your "score" for the round. The winner is the one who has the least score at the end; in other words, the ones that stayed closest together! Generally, having the same number means you stayed together fine and having a one and a four means you're doing badly!
In the event that there is a tie, the team with the lowest numbers overall is the victor.
Since Hunter & I are paired, we'll roll our dice distinctly. To be specific, of the three posts, it should essentially go:
1 - Start the race
2 - Results from last, continuing the race
3 - Results from last, continuing the race

  Zero && ZoseeThe two of them had some help getting a ribbon tied around their front legs with Zero on the left and Zosee on the right. After they were secured together, they tested it by taking one step together and- ohgodwhatjusthappened. "Let's...let's be a little more gentle." Zero winced- one of Zosee's steps was much higher than his leg was suppose to bend, and the Manectric had nearly lifted the Glaceon and dislocated his leg. Seeing as how Zosee was more than twice his height... The two made their way to the starting line, dragging their tied front paws forward instead of lifting it like they usually would to walk. It made sure Zosee doesn't rip Zero's leg off. Round 1: 1 Round 2: ??? Round 3: ??? Total: ???

Zero && Zosee Hey, this wasn't all that bad. As the race started the two made their way carefully but briskly forward, both of them with wild grins on their faces. Whoever thought of such a stupid but ingenious game was awesome. Having been together for more than a decade, they found it easy to keep in rhythm with each other. Zosee was much larger than before, but as long as he took two steps for every step from her, they'd do fine... Round 1: 1 Round 2: 1 Round 3: ??? Total: ???

Zero && Zosee They stumbled a bit as they made their way across the track, though they expected it of course. It wasn't exactly that easy to walk when one of your legs was practically useless, which in the case of their large size difference, was a big deal. At least they weren't tied to a Ryhorn though. Up ahead the finishing line was only a few metres away...almost there... Zosee maybe was a little too enthusiastic and moved her bound paw forward so far Zero had to hop awkwardly to avoid falling on his face...but...there! They stumbled over the line, and both of them tripped to the ground. They rolled back up to their feet, laughing, as Zosee tore the ribbon off with her teeth. Well...that had been ridiculous but fun. ( Red & Blue ) Red winced as Blue tied her right front paw and his left leg together. "Watch it, I want my blood to be able to circulate" She told him. He finished off the knot in a bow, "Quit yer whining, we'll be fine." He said.
He was three feet tall and she was two, he was on two legs and she was on four. This was going to be abit difficult. "Stiffen your legs" He told Red, as the two of them did so. They began to walk in a sort of strange waddle that hopefully would work...or fail horribly.

( Red & Blue ) It actually worked, as the two took their first steps in sync without fumbling or falling. Red smiled, waddling a little faster to the surprise of her partner. "Hey! Warn me before you do that!" Blue told her, picking his pace up to try and match hers once more.
In a way, it was like a true test of their friendship. The better they knew and understood each other, the better they could coordinate and walk right

Tris & Maestro Both Tris and Maestro disappeared for a moment, returning when the race was about to start with different forms that would be easier to run in. There had been a great deal of fuss from Maestro at having to take on a Delibird's form but in the end that was the result, and a grudging Maestro stood next to his partner as their legs were tied together by one of the assistants. "Are you ready for this?" Tris asked eagerly, poised to go.
"Definitely." Maestro said, the slightest hint of sarcasm detectable in his voice.
"On your mark...Get set...Go! the announcer cried out, and the duo made their way forward taking their first steps...
For the discombobulation of their Team, Maestro and Tris proved to be well able to cooperate. The took off without a problem, heading off towards the end of the course.

( Red & Blue ) Reds speeding up would prove to be their demise, Blue falling flat on his face and taking Red down with him. "Owch! My foot!" Red cried out, Blue glaring over to him, "Oh, Like I feel any better"
Getting up with some difficulty, they began their waddle once more as they crossed the finish line, falling over once they got there. Dang, that was hard!

Faran Faran looked at his partner with amazement, "Wow, you're a RHYHORN!" he said with delight, "That's so cool!" He continued to bounce up and down until their legs were tied together and then waited patiently for the race to start. Well, that is if patiently mean fidgeting every second until the start was called. When the signal to start was called he was quick to take his first steps eager to get to the finish. If he had anything to say about it they would win!

A lot of things went through Puer's mind. A lot of things.
Most of them weren't positive.
I never should have asked if I could get matched up with someone
He's so tiny...
He must weigh about a tenth of what I do.
His leg is... how are we going to walk?
"Well... let's do our best, I guess. I'll try not to run too fast."
The Vulpix could probably keep up with him in a land race, but his strides were massive in comparison.
With the blow of the whistle, Puer was trying his best to just NOT drag the Vulpix through the earth.

Tris & Maestro
Encouraged by their good start Tris and Maestro continued onward, "Come on Maestro, we're doing great!" Tris said excitedly as they kept going at a steady pace. It seemed that their polar opposite personalities balanced out in the end curiously enough. They continued heading toward the finish line with a determined pace, thanks to Tris' determination. It was satisfying to say the least.

Faran "Come on, come on! Let's go faster!" Faran said, picking up his own pace to match the larger Pokemon's stride and reassure him that he could keep up. "Everyone's ahead of us!" Although he was eager, he knew enough to be deliberate in matching the Rhyhorn's pace. Faran still had faith that they could catch up, even though they were behind; he never gave up, it was a good quality of his.

In the end, the Rhyhorn's strides were much to slow. Although he would go much faster than Faran if left to his own devices, he wasn't willing to drag the Vulpix along. God forbid he accidentally step on him or something.

No guarantees, though. God knows the Vulpix was small.[
