Hearing her speak from behind him, Hijiku got on his feet and turned around to face the colorful female. He didn't bother to sit down this time, he just staid up, observing Zuri has she spoke softly. Her eyes looked almost empty for a moment as she told him about her sister. He listened carefully, nodding a few times in between her words. Well at least she did have a family. It was sort of sad to see she was sent to run after her own sister though. But that he kept for himself. Who was he to speak about this subject matter anyway? No one in fact. "Perhaps did she find a hiding place. In a secret region far away from him..." said Hijiku. "Though that you might have known already." he added, looking down at his front paws, thinking. "I could always help you... if you ever needed help at all that is." said Hijiku, offering his help to someone else for the first time.

Zuri gave a small nod.
"I had thought that, since we are from the north, she would be here, deep south, but I have not found any clues. It is...frusterating, to say in the least."
She ears perked up as he offered to help her....but how could he help her? Perhaps traveling along wasn't the best for her...and having a male with her might help her if she ever ran across any other males. They seemed to pounce on any lone female they could. Which was, to say in the least, disgusting to her.
"Have you....ever left these lands?" Zuri rarely paused in her speech, but she wasn't quite sure where she should go now. She was nervous to go any more south, but perhaps he knew of at least one more place to travel to...?

Hijiku kept himself from smiling lightly as he noticed Zuri's ears perk up to his offer. Did this mean she was interested? Well for sure it would be nice to travel along with someone and not always be on his own. Even though he was indeed not so socializable, Hijiku did really enjoy exploring the surrounding lands. "I've wandered around these lands for a while and I believe I've been to the east a few times. I just can't exactly remember what exactly were the names of these lands. Mind you I've never been really good with lion names, let alone land names..." he said, answering to her questions. "I've always been interested in exploring, it's just not always so fun on your own." he added, looking down once more.

Zuri lost her cold barrier, and stamped a paw down, excited.
"Yes, I would love that very much! Names might not be important, as long as we can stay safe...I've heard of a pride that tries to enslave others...but with the two of us, we should be able to fend for ourselves."
Her cubbish stomp replied with another as she trotted around him, excited. She was tired of holding up her fake face, and she had a sudden, overflowing joy in her. She wanted to find her sister, even if no one else in her pride had wanted her to return alive. And now, she thought that she would be able to do this!
She slowly regained her posture, yet her tail still showed her impatience. She gave herself a sigh before fully calming down, giving her new friend a genuine smile.
"That would be fantastic."
