I ain't forgettin' anyone, and I also ain't regrettin' anything.x - [Leon] - x "'Melia, we've been workin' hard, haven't we? Maybe we should go on break soon..." The Captain whispered to her, so that Eyris's public couldn't hear his voice of concern. The last thing he wanted to do was show weakness in the face of the citizenry. They'd lose confidence in him quickly if he did. It was Captain Vatara's very instinct that told him that there would be spies at every corner and shadow, seeing how he performed under pressure.
His fellow Watch member was about to say something, when a man approached the booth. First recruit of the day! Maybe the morning wasn't looking so bad at all. "Dun' be ridiculous, sir. Anyone can be a warrior if they put their mind to it! I started out as a ... er... squi- ... lance-constable, that's it! Jus' a boy, I was, when I joined the rank! It's good work when ya put a few years in." the knight said, chuckling.
"What's yer weapon of choice anyway, lad? Swords? Lances? Axes? Or even a bowman would do us some good! We issue ya fine irons when you take yer oath and badge ya know." Perks of the job, Leon thought with happiness. That got them every time, to have weapons that actually worked, as opposed to the flimsy ones sold to mercenaries the world over. Not to mention, the watch house wasn't half bad either. He'd live there if only regulations allowed him to move his bed in. x - [Watch Captain] - x
We gotta carry on, ya know? It's what they woulda wanted!

Ignis Draconis sum. Thema fabulae, thema apologi.c** igne sacrō, Flametongue, (prō amicīs pugnō) prō pace volō. Miliibus annīs supervivē, cicatricēs temporis possideō. Mirate corpus meum, pinnās meās, ignem meum! Fire Dragon It was quite hot outside, but anyone who went down all of the booths set up for the Job Fair would find one red-haired gentleman in formal attire – everyone’s favorite dragon, FD. He was wearing his Host Club attire and overseeing an appreciably ornate booth advertising for the… well, Host Club, obviously. He even had his signature martini with him, it being emblematic of his ties to the organization and responsibilities at their events.
Because, really, it was in shambles as of late. They hadn’t hosted any parties in a notable amount of time, and the number of members in it seemed to be dwindling, with those remaining becoming busier because of other things. Rei had basically resigned for the purpose of devoting even more time to ceaselessly studying, Amelia frequently seemed occupied with her Watch and Crew duties (as was Nils, quite often) leaving her little time left for the Host Club, and Rhys… well, it was FD learning about Rhys that had motivated the Fire Dragon to come out here and don his Host Club attire in the first place. There had been so much lost, so much suffering that had taken place, and not enough smiles, or laughter, or entertainment. And this was when people needed to be entertained the most! And if making that happen required for there to be new blood in the Host Club, then so be it. They had to carry on! The Saint would have wanted it to be this way. He wouldn’t want for it to just die out. The Host Club would survive, would thrive again.
And it was now hiring.

Things had gotten fairly hectic after the siege. Eyris was in a state of rebuilding, and Sunil had found himself with literally no time on his hands... again! Move planks of wood here, rolls barrels there... he had moved from one job to the next so many times he was feeling dizzy just trying to think about it. Well, that and he was stuck on a half-completed rooftop in the heat because in all the hustle and bustle of this current job, something had knocked over the ladder and ended up making the cabbage seller cry about his cabbages. He had to wonder how the hell nobody was looking around for him. He wasn't exactly the most inconspicuous person out there, with the ears and tail making him stand out plenty.
So... now what? He was stranded on some building for at least half an hour with a hammer in one hand. He had run out of nails, so he couldn't work anymore. Well, that was some good news for him. Beorc tools reeked of iron. He hated that smell. He hated that smell almost as much as he hated water. Well, water was more of a fear than hatred. He could handle small amounts of it at a time, like with rain. But put him in a pond or larger and he would seriously flip the ******** out. Speaking of which... that war they just had. He had a freak-out back in that one village thanks to that damn tiger dumping him in that lake. And in the midst of his panic, he almost got himself killed. And that wasn't the only close call he had...
The war had taught him something. Ever since he had left Gallian soil and entered this new world, he had never bothered keeping up with his training. The war and that incident over in Nomad Land were his first encounters in combat in a very long time. He shouldn't have been so close to death, and it wasn't just the enemy Beorcs being so strong.
Nay, he had grown weak. He had lost his Gallian pride, and he was a disgrace to Cat Laguz all around. Sunil couldn't even call himself a Gallian warrior anymore.
No one was looking for him, so the cat figured he could just leave this rooftop for a while and wander a bit. He wouldn't be missed. Tools abandoned, he looked along the edges of the roof to see where he could safely jump down to. After finding a place, he leapt down from the place he had been stranded before pulling up his hood to hide his ears, wincing slightly after landing. Jumping down a building while injured? Not his most brilliant idea.
Sunil then strolled around, and it wasn't long before he had gotten bored. He almost half-considered heading back to the roof of that building with some more nails to finish up when a voice caught his attention. Well, the voice itself wasn't that appealing, but it was the words that reached him.
"Join the Eyris City Watch, and you'll have a warrior made outta ya!"
"A warrior, huh? Problem... solve-ED." he mused.
He walked over towards the man that spoke those words. There were a bunch of smells around, but he recognized that Beorc. It was that soldier that got injured by those assassins from the siege. It seemed he was now asking which weapon a particular Beorc wanted. He also recognized the Beorc girl as the one fighting that bandit with the big sword that almost killed him a while back. She looked rather banged up. Granted, Sunil wasn't exactly in the best condition either. He still had some bandages wrapped around his wounds, though most of them were covered.
"Looking for recruits, huh? I'll join." he told Leon once he reached the booth.

~Melius est habere firmum semper patiatur EX pars malorum quam timens semper eventu~
Wallace Wallace walked up to the Watch booth where Amelia and Leon were recruiting. Seeing that Leon was talking to a man in a black coat he went to Amelia. He offered his hand to Amelia for shaking. "Hello there lass! I'm Wallace, former Knight Commander of Caelin. I here the guardians of this fair city are hiring! I've come to see if this outfit is worthy of my service! I've no need of training."

A familiar face approached probably the most appropriate booth for him to be at. His long red hair reached down to the small of his back with his hat perched on top of his head. He was wearing his good coat today, which wasn't really different from his normal coat apart from less dust, his bracelet and ring glinted in the sun. Now Joshua already had a job with the Guard, but that didn't seem to be going anywhere at all and he hadn't found anyone else in the army who could or wanted to gamble with him on a regular basis. Besides he'd heard that this organization had lost a few members recently and would be looking to recruit a new person or two.
Where was he? The Watch? The Hostess Club?
No, Joshua was at The famous Host Club. He grinned at FD, "Well nice to see you again, Hikaru right? Last we spoke was at your wedding I think."

((First off, don't expect me to reply often or quickly as I am planning a trip to Taiwan and will be gone for 3 weeks >_>;; kinda the main reason why I haven't posted anything ._. ))
How long has it been since Ephraim had a decent job? To be honest, he actually disappeared for a good month or two and nobody had seen him until now. The lancer was out of a job once more, blacksmithing wasn't exactly cutting it and not to mention his skills in it? Not so great. Might as well start looking for a new job and this job fair should, more or less, do the trick. Not to mention....the sudden disappearance of Kishuna was quite a shock to Ephraim. He hadn't had a clue as to where the morph could have possibly disappeared to...and without a word too.
His long thoughts and process somehow lead him to Joshua who seemed to be standing in front of a booth. Host club? Ephraim looked and tilted his head in confusion. Wasn't Joshua already a part of the guards? "Joshua" Ephraim called, raising his right hand hoping to grab the young Jehanna king. As the lancer got closer, he noticed a familiar face which he hadn't seen in such a long time. He couldn't help but crack a simple smile along with a nervous wave.

I ain't forgettin' anyone, and I also ain't regrettin' anything.x - [Leon] - x First, the young man with blue hair came to the booth. Or at least, Leon thought Sunil was young, but he still didn't know much about Laguz, despite all the notes he took over the years of them emerging as a population in Eyris. Really, he didn't know much except that some of them flew, some of them looked like cats, and others were almost human-like except for their pointy ears. These were said to be dragons, but Leon never saw one. He had a feeling it would be the last thing he'd ever see, if he did see the dragon Laguz's true forms.
Anyway, Leon greeted Sunil, who was of the "cat-like person" variety. "Greetin's, my Laguz comrade." Leon said. He recognized the cat from his battles against the Shadow guild. "Ya really helped me out back there against them shadow walkers, ya know. I'd be honored to have ya join the rank! ... What was yer name er..." He paused. Although Sunil was young, he was no child, so calling him a "lad" might not be right. ".... sir?" He finally said. It was the best he could do.
He prepared to speak to Wallace. Such zeal the man had, but it looked like the bald warrior would be Amelia's customer. The Captain winked at her, giving her the signal that he would let her handle him. One General would relate to another, that was his reasoning. Shortly after the gesture, he kept his confident grin, hopeful it would draw even more new blood to the ranks of the City Watch. x - [Watch Captain] - x

Saifer Griimro Saifer walked through the recovering city of Eyris, lost in his own thoughts and resisting the urge to swipe anything that had a pleasant aroma or appeared to be of decent monetary value. He was actually feeling a bit depressed today. Not that he hadn't reason to be, but with his life the way it was he had gotten used to his state of affairs even before his nightmare of a first encounter in this world. The reason that he was feeling down now was simply that people looked...well...happy.
They all of course had been subject to many a hardship since the city had been a battleground, but now...it was reconstruction. Friends were meeting and greeting and various new beginnings were taking place. This was a job fair, after all. 'Perhaps...maybe I could...' thought Saifer, entertaining the idea of getting a job for a few brief moments. Not that he expected anyone to give a kid like him one, but nonetheless he considered the idea, the reason for this being that he hated the idea of missing an opportunity that may never come to him again.
Still, there was that mental block of his holding him back. Sighing, Saifer eased his mind by promising himself that at the least he'd look. With that, he came around to the congregation of people forming around the Eyris City Watch table. He stopped and just watched for a bit, trying to decide if he wanted to give it a shot. He had a sword and a Light Brand along with the basic skills that went along with using them - he could fight to some degree. His father had been a Black Fang member back when he was alive and his grandfather had been a decent warrior as well, so maybe it was in his blood...then again, he had been trained a bit, but mostly just in survival skills.
Whatever he thought, though, for now he was simply just looking.

"Huh... I didn't expect to see both Prince Joshua and Prince Ephraim over in this corner of town. Is this a meeting of former lords or something?"
The swordsman had business today. Word on the streets was that his uncle Hikaru had joined the ranks of crew, and the young red head didn't have a chance to congratulate the Dragon-born yet. It would be best to finish up any business he had left to do, after all. Someone was kind enough to point the Lycian towards the Host Club booth, where it seemed the Fire Dragon was recruiting new members.
"It's been a while, you two. Doing well, I hope?" Roy asked with a calm smile.
He then turned his attention to his relative.
"Glad to see you're well too, Uncle Hikaru. Congrats on your promotion to Crew." he said.
He took a step back to examine the threads his Uncle was wearing, or at least, what he could see. "You're looking rather regal in the formal wear today. I think it would be a little too warm to be wearing something like that on a hot day like today, though. Are you gonna be okay wearing that during the entire recruitment process?" he asked softly. He was concerned about Hikaru's well-being, especially after the damage he took from that last battle.

Huh. It seemed like the Cat Laguz was still recognized. Were his ears poking out of his hood again? Well, now it didn't matter. He lowered the hood, exposing his cat ears.
The solider mentioned the assassins from the war, and Sunil nodded slowly.
"We both had a common goal, and that was to protect the city. That alone made you a comrade, and I help my comrades. It was good that you came back after healing up and bringing reinforcements. I wouldn't have been able to handle all of them on my own."
Leon then asked for his name, and had a brief pause. It seemed like he was looking for the right word to use. The cat waited for the Beorc to finish that sentence, in which the last word said was 'sir'. He sighed, then smirked.
"Name's Sunil. It'll be a pleasure working with you... err... sir." the car replied, realizing he didn't know the soldier's name either, and thus didn't have an appropriate response for him either.

Blaise felt uncomfortable by the Laguz around the recruitment table and wasn't sure if joining the army was a good idea. The young looking myrmidon wanted to escape, but found her self blocked by the crowed of people. She grew incredibly afraid and hoping the Laguz around the recruitment table would not discriminate. She was worried that her smell could trigger any of the Laguz around her into a fight or a riot like once before.

Amelia was almost already starting to get overwhelmed by how many people were approaching their stand all at once. She cleared her throat again quietly and watched Leon interacting with their first arrival before turning to Sunil, then Wallace in turn. The cat looked vaguely familiar - had he been fighting nearby during their Eyris defense battle? It seemed possible... - but the large, bald man was entirely unfamiliar.
She offered him a small smile, attempting to hide her own physical discomfort and weariness, and gripped his hand securely, giving it two firm shakes before letting go. "Please sign the clipboard. Note down any important information like that with the other requirements," she told him simply, smiling. It was good, at least, to see people interested in their stand. She let Leon handle Sunil, then glanced over at Jack. "Sir? Did you sign?"
