Hug-bell squeaked grabbing Barnaby and dragged him along the ground in front of her and in front of Chaonis' path. She hoped he'd fall over the bear; if he did she could tackle him probably.
She was thinking no not tackle him, if he was down on the ground or stumbling she could kick him in the butt maybe. Help him do a face plant? It seemed logical, maybe it'd work or she could do what Chibimoon did and jump on him, she wondered how hard it'd be to land on his back. The child nodded to herself, get him off balance and make sure he stayed that way, then jump on him when she had the chance. Even if it ended up a piggy back ride it couldn't be any worse than loosing could it?
She had it all planned out as she waited for him to run into Barnaby.

Chaonis was surprised when the little Chibi seemed to step up her game. Or maybe it was the bear, helping her along. In either case, he had to try and stop his lunging at her to avoid stepping on the bear, but he couldn't pull up as short as he wanted. He tripped on Barnaby, stumbling.
"Hey now!"
Was he going easy on her? Maybe, but he was also not trying to. Maybe it was human nature to go easier on a kid, but Negas lacked that. Youma lacked that. At least, that was the safest way to think. The Senshi of Danger wasn't much for thinking of the safe things, but as it stood he was being the dangerous part of a senshi's life. He wanted her to think about how to survive it.
He wasn't expecting her to run and jump on his back, of course. The extra weight would knock him to the floor when she jumped. Then she had a moment before he got back up to his feet to make whatever decision she wanted to try next.

Hug-bell giggled as she managed to get him on the ground. Barnaby had shrunk by now and was laying on the ground as a small teddy bear again. She seemed to think for a second while she kept Chaonis on the ground.
After she'd had a second to think the child got up and dashed over to pick up barnaby and hide behind a large heating and cooling unit. She was waiting for Chaonis it seemed. She was as close to the cooling unit and the roof as possible to make it harder for him to see her when he came into sight she hoped, crouching like a tiger ready to pounce.

Chaonis pushed himself up, looking around. She had run away? Not what he was trying to get her to do. Alright, no more mister nice senshi. If he had to make her cry to get her to fight back properly, he would.
These were the thoughts that were in his head as he got to his feet and dusted himself off. Some minor scuffs on his white armor, but nothing that powering down and then back up wouldn't fix.
As was usually the case, of course.
He looked around again, following her signature and moving toward the heating and cooling unit where she was hiding. He could see a small shadow, and imagined that was her and not some part of the unit itself, as he might of if he weren't certain she was over there.
Not a bad hiding place, at least. But still not the point. He moved toward it and found that the shadow wasn't her, though he was now very near to where she was. He could sense her but not see her and this bothered him.
"You're not supposed to be hiding! Come out and fight like a man. Er. Little girl. That's... not a wuss."

Hug-bell waited for him, she could hear him walking. Closer, closer. When he stopped she watched, waiting for him to finish before rolling out of her hiding place behind him and taking her foot she aimed it for the back of his leg, right where his knee was.
It was a little clumsy but the child grinned hoping he'd actually go down. Just because she was hiding didn't mean it was because she was running away. It meant she was working with a different game plan, she twisted for a second watching him.

Chaonis felt something, or maybe saw it move out of the corner of his eye, and made to turn to see what it was. He felt her foot connect with the back of his leg, though and, to his surprise, felt his balance give out.
He hit his hands and knees, then looked back at her.
"Lucky shot!" He said, but there was a look of pride on his face. He grinned broadly and got up, putting his hands on his hips and turning to stare at her. He tilted his head to the side, nodding slowly.
He nodded, as if in approval.
"Not so bad. You need a lot of work though. I could still bash your head in if I wanted. But I think that's enough for now." He grinned. "First lesson, huh? Next week, punching and kicking."

Hug-bell watched him fall. Giggling when he said lucky shot, "It worked, didn't it?" She asked sticking out her tongue before picking Barnaby back up from under the cooling unit.
She grinned, when he said not so bad. "Should I keep watching the power rangers and try to use their moves?" She asked curiously as he said that was enough for now. First lesson huh? She nodded, "Okay. Maybe you could leave the paintball gun at home next time?"
She asked curiously "Barnaby might not feel like getting another coat of paint."

Chaonis grinned.
"We'll see how Barnaby fairs next time. The gun is useful. Negas have weapons, right?" Of course, not guns. He had never seen one with a gun of any kind, though he had seen a bow and arrow and other projectile like weapons. So the theory was still the same.
He clapped her on the shoulder, nodding.
"Sure, if you want. But the only way you're really going to learn is if you do it, and don't just let the bigger kids handle things for you. Or when you're alone, you're going to be in a hell of a lot of trouble."
He sighed, but he was grinning. He was feeling oddly proud of her. Sure, she should have known the basics by now, but at least she was not giving him attitude or, worse yet, crying.

Hug-bell wiggled her nose, "Yeah but they have stuff like bow and arrows and knifes and things. I haven't seen one with a paint ball gun."
The child nodded, "If they let me help." She said before nodding, she knew she'd be in trouble. Specially after what happened Wolfy, she shook her head, "I should get going." The child then gave a yawn.

Chaonis nodded his head, patting her on hers before he walked over to his paintball gun. He picked it up carefully, almost lovingly. His paintball gun was one of his dearest possessions. Like his first real friend. And something he hadn't actually stolen, but earned and paid for.
He wasn't about to let it get hurt.
Turning, he scanned her with his cellphone, getting her information for later, and then decided the day was dead.
"Alright, see ya later, kid."
He wasn't about to walk her home, of course. In fact, once he had his things gathered, he leaped away. He glanced back to make sure some youma or Nega didn't pop up the moment he left, but other than that he was gone.

Hugbell watched as Chaonis jumped, her eyes wide. They could do that?! She moved to the edge of the roof thinking about trying it, but when she looked down the child squeaked. Nope, stairs were much better.
She hurried back, picking up Barnaby and heading off down the stairs. "Ugh, I'm going to have to get you washed." She said with a frown. She still wasn't sure if powering down and then up would clean off the paint from him. Obviously the girl was still learning about the powers of cleaning via senshi magic, but she made her way home with the painted bear avoiding any areas that might have Youma's lurking around.
