"Ah, Aila-chan, if you have better things to do, I can always try to-" There was a click indicating the agent had hung up. This was probably just as well, because Izaya really hadn't meant for her to hear his last sentence anyway.

Nevertheless, as if speaking for the sake of an audience, he shook his head and, with a grin, uttered, "How rude. I wonder how a girl brought up as a noble came to be so abrupt." In all honesty, though, he was glad that she wasn't wasting any time. If the other Rockets got to the specified location first and no one was there to start the described event, it would complicate matters.

Straightening his suit, Orihara placed the 'dex into his new pocket and increased his speed to a power walk as he headed toward the garage. Sure enough, she was ready and waiting twenty minutes after she had hung up. The trainee applauded. "Sugoi! You look so lovely, Aila-chan. Well, at least you would if you smiled just a little. We're supposed to be a couple, remember?" With a short, laugh, he strode closer to the car. "Who's driving?"

Lilith heaved a great sigh of relief as her wrist was released from the Mewtwo's death grip when they arrived in the garages. She rubbed the affected area gingerly, hoping that nothing was broken or seriously strange. After a moment of inspection, she found that her wrist was altogether whole, if not very tender. The bruises were already beginning to form... Well, she thought, at least she wouldn't need any frivolous accessories to adorn herself with. She had a bracelet of lovely purple and greenish hue about her wrist now.

Behind her appeared Len, a smile on the woman's face. Lilith hesitated, then asked the burning question on her mind. "Okay, so why exactly have you decided that I was to accompany you to a drink? It surely couldn't have been out of the purity and goodness of your heart, could it?" Her tone was somewhat snide, but it held some interlaced curiosity within it, because, honestly, she wanted to know why she had been taken and how Len even knew where she was.

"Piget." Rides have now stopped. Heph wants rides.

"My brother, your boyfriend, won't leave me the hell alone." Len replied bluntly. "First and foremost, congrats on the promotion. Secondly, my brother has been- oh, did I tell you we are on good terms now? So I really don't- oh, right. My brother won't leave me alone since you've decided the dankness of your room is better than well, err, the dankness of his room? Anyway, he's been a bothersome mess since you've pulled the 'I'm a lonely tween, no one understands me, boohoo ' charade. Get over it, girl, and take my Arceus damned brother with you. He's so lonely he even reads in my room. Reads, Lilith, the newspaper. So will you cut the crap out yet, or what?"

Were Aila aware of the remark, she would have argued that even nobles have limits to their patience, just as any other human. However, she was not, and so she did not, though she did perceive the thinness of her patience. It was unbecoming to be short with others, she reminded herself. There was a limit to how much annoyance one could express before one became the annoyance oneself.

"I apologize for my brevity before," she said, passing over his comments without specifically responding to them. "I'd intended to spend the evening in. The sudden change of plans was unexpected and... relatively unwelcome, to be frank. I would appreciate it if this could be kept as short as possible, but I understand that this is at least partly in the hands of your client." The sharp edge of her voice had dulled to something more mild, almost verging on weary. At his question, she held the borrowed keys for him to take, "You, unless you don't mind traveling by pokemon. I have no experience with driving." That was something she needed to address some time in the nearer future.

[Faleen]

"Hi! You got the message? I take it you're ready to go, then!" The newly appointed Elite, so new that no body had probably heard yet, smiled at her friend. With all the paperwork she'd had to do lately with the new changes, Nyx needed some time to unwind.

"This is Curie!" The growlithe wiggled past Faleen and into her room, trotting quickly from place to place, snuffling and investigating everything in sight and smell, her furry little tail wagging vigorously.

[Nyx]

"I figured it would be best to check it out at least, I just finished getting ready." She answered, with a nod, before she turned her attention down to the Growlithe that was introduced.
Faleen watched it for a moment, watching the fire type go into her room. "Currie, one of your new pokemon?"

Umbreon was still in the room, his eyes widening a little when a strange pokemon entered his master's room.
He stepped forward to investigate.

Lilith's eyebrows raised at Len's blunt remark, and even more at the congratulations. "Oh. Thank you," she replied graciously, if not a little hesitantly. That certainly caught her off-guard. Her lips pursed as Len digressed, and-

Wait, hold on: they were on good terms now? Everything was okay with them? ...That was news.

"Dear me, he's been reading? Oh my..." Lilith nearly said "Dear Gods," but she caught herself before the words could escape her lips. True, it was just an expression, but she had to remind herself either way. No more dependence on them now.

"Well, damn. I'd better go get him, then." She turned to leave, then paused and looked behind her to Lennyka. Her eyes had lowered. "And kindly don't undermine my current situation. I've had a very difficult few days, and while it may have all been adolescent-esque moping and whining, I'll thank you not to point it out as such. It's really quite rude." With that, she departed for Sorano's room.

She arrived in a matter of but a few minutes, but she faltered at the door. Should she really...? It would mark her emergence from the Pit of Despair, but she wasn't... Oh, who the hell was she kidding? Her knuckles knocked against the door. "Hey, Sorano? It's Lilith. Len's decided I'm going out for a drink with her and I have to drag you along. So get out here." No going back now.

Izaya, who of course knew that all humans had limits to their patience (or he wouldn't have occasionally made a hobby of testing them) was actually mildly amused by Aila's curtness. He knew that he had embarrassed her in front of Seth if unintentionally, but he hadn't realized exactly what a nuance he had become to her. With this new-found discovery, he figured he would just have to work extra hard to keep his promise of making things up to her. For now, though, they were going to have fun and he was going to make sure of it, whether Aila wanted to or not.

"It's fine, really. Better than yelling in my ear~" he chuckled. Interestingly enough, that was what he had been half expecting when he first proposed the night out. "Perhaps if we can get this done quickly and I can meet my client, then you can still spend the evening in. I did say it was only if you weren't busy." 'Relatively unwelcome'? That didn't sound very frank to Izaya. Still too polite. How adorable. She was still refraining from unleashing her full rage upon him, it seemed. Which, it had to be noted, was something he was immensely grateful for.

Ah, so that had been her reason. She didn't want to let down his imaginary client. Well, if all went according to plan, the individuals benefiting from Aila's consideration of others would be revealed to be her very own teammates. It would all work out in the end. "You sound tired," he commented casually. "Maybe I should buy you a drink when we get there. Might perk you up."

"That's fine," he told her, accepting the keys. Finally, he got to drive. Not like when Frost had refused him at the outpost. Nope, this time he had a legitimate reason. Though, to be fair, "I have just as much experience traveling by pokemon as you do with driving." On top of that, he didn't want to risk the possibility of getting his suit wrinkled during the journey. "Buckle up, Aila-chan. I'm a fairly safe driver, but it never hurt to be cautious."

Within half an hour, the pair had parked before the designated karaoke bar. Izaya got out, went around the car, and opened the door for Aila like a proper date would have.

"Thank you, but that won't be necessary," she declined in response to the offer. She wasn't a fan of alcohol or drinking in general, and she would have preferred if this meeting could be held anywhere besides a bar of all places. She would tolerate it, though, especially on the possibility that it would be quick.

"I find pokemon more reliable and more readily accessible than cars, but I won't press it." She certainly didn't feel so inclined to become more accustomed to vehicles just because there were circumstances under which their use was more appropriate. On the topic of being accustomed to vehicles, Aila found during the trip that she still was not. She had learned various tactics to weather the responses, but the slight dizziness that had accumulated was evidenced by the hesitance with which she removed herself from the car, a momentary pass of her hand over her hair that lingered briefly at her forehead settling the more unpleasant of the sensations. With a nod to acknowledge the gesture, she turned slightly to regard the building she assumed was their destination. Mm. Well, it could have been worse - it could have been a trashy bar. Could have been better too, but it was a bit late to complain.

[Faleen]

"Yeah. Miss Nadja gave him to me- Come on, lets go!" Nyx may have been excited about getting out of the base for the night. "Curie, come."

The puppy pokemon didn't make any motion to leave the room and instead trotted over to the black pokemon that'd stepped out. A new thing, it needed sniffed and investigated and played with.

[Nyx]

Stepping out of her room, pausing only to hold the door open and look back at the two pokemon in her room.
"Lets go you two."

Umbreon frowned at the Growlithe as he wandered around Faleen's room, and didn't listen to Nyx, turning to start out as he was called.
he grumbled, in clear annoyance.
hurrying out to stand in front of Faleen.

"Do you know of anyone else who is going?" She asked, folding her hands behind her back as she lead the way to the garage.

[Faleen]

"No idea. But it looked like everyone got the message, so..." Nyx followed along beside Faleen, happy to let the woman drive when they got to the garage.

Once everyone started to leave, the puppy whined ran after everyone, not wanting to be left out.

... Now where was the garage again? everything in this damn building looked the same, and everything was so smooth and... boring.
Jerome still didn't know his way around very well, and after coming from a city where he knew practically everything about the layout to now knowing where the heck he was half the time... it was damn annoying.

He didn't act like he was to bothered by it though, striding down the halls of the HQ with his arms crossed over his chest. glancing momentarily at people as they passed him.
After a while of wandering though, he finally spoke up to the first person he saw. "Yo, kid." his deep voice traveled down the hall, toward a dark haired boy, unfolding his arms as he drew closer to him "where do they keep movin' the garage to?"

[Jerome]

He froze as the deep voice addressed him - crap what did he do now? - but visibly relaxed when the question was asked, so he turned around to an-- "....damn." His eyebrows couldn't raise any higher as he looked the other man up and down. He had so many tattoos, and... "Did you tattoo your eyes? Dude, that's so badass," he said with a grin. Damn, he'd never seen anything like that before. "Oh, yeah, the garage.. Uhh.." He frowned, rubbing a hand over the back of his neck for a moment. Where was it again? The sheer amount of badass had completely distracted him. "Oh yeah, I think it's down another floor or two," though he still wasn't exactly sure about it, "but I'm sure we'll see other people on the way, it sounded like a big party or something."

At the other rocket's reaction to seeing Jerome, the man blinked a couple of times, raising a brow slightly as he talked.
"Yeah, they're tattooed."
Well, Jerome couldn't say he got this reaction very often, it was pretty amusing.

He started walking again when the boy mentioned what was the garage was.
"Ya headin' down there to than? Got that e-mail bout the party in the city."
