Dorm Room: Roommate: Personality: Kotaru is a typical lazy head and a stubborn child. Most of the time he will push himself to get what he wants, but that never really applied to him in school. Kotaru was usually sleeping in most of his classes anyway, but in reality Kotaru was really one of those underground smart kids. He just never liked to use his logic when it came to classes. One on-going problem for Kotaru as well is the way he is around women. Being around them usually meant trouble, but for him that was. These issues usually go as far as flirting or even upsetting a girl, which well, usually ends up bad on his end. It is very rare to have Kotaru become serious in a situation, especially since he tries to pull the brighter side of things to either annoy people or just flip situations around. Bio: Kotaru grew up with a family of three, in which consisted of a son (eldest), a daughter (the middle child), and then Kotaru, the baby of the family. His mother worked hard as a single mother, but really, she was married. Kotaru's father was just out of the house most of the time. Although, as a whole family, his family was very succesful. Kotaru comes from a family full of geniuses, and high paying job workers. His mtoher worked as a nurse, his father worked as a business man (Which is why he is always away), and his brother and sister were both on their way to become something great. As for Kotaru, well, that all didn't matter to him. From day one, he was expected of big things because when his brother and sister were just toddlers they were advancing much quicker than him, so when he was born his parents tried to make him do everything early such as walking at a young age or even begin speaking much more earlier than most children. From Kotaru, it was difficult. He didn't catch things on as easy, so his parents looked down upon that. Starting school was much more difficult for the boy. His siblings were known for their great ways, while Kotaru just messed around in class all day and never payed attention. Everything was fun to him, but that was probably something no one in his family understood. He would constantly get in trouble in school, but every day he kept that same smirk upon his face as his parents would scold him. It had gotten so bad to the point that his parents just stopped caring.Now in High School, in his senior year, its an amazement to his family that Kotaru made it so far. Although, Kotaru still continues to play the same games he did as a child. In High School, Kotaru takes part in a Karate class, which is probably the class that he tends to attend much more often than any other. Kotaru's karate skills help him when it comes to using his claws in actual fights. On his spare time Kotaru enjoys spending it at the beach. She's never broken a promise, and she doesn't intend to any time soon.Bio: Nine years ago, Clover and her blind brother lost their parents. Due to this, the government had taken custody of the two. And since they had shown potential, they were used in several tests. Most of those tests put them in great danger, and the more it went on, the more it frightened her - adults were scary, scary creatures, telling them lies with those... those warm smiles and offering rewards and sweet fantasies of escape. And she believed them. Only after those dreams were crushed did she see how horrid those beings truly were.
She was grateful for her brother's presence. During that little time that they were together, he had told her what four-leaf clovers represented - You must have faith, always hope for the best, and never forget to love. Together, they bring good luck. He called those 'leaf words', and ever since then, she's held on to that idea. Those simple words helped Clover survive the trials that were presented to her, because she had faith that she would survive.
After those long years of torture, they were released. Six sickening years. By this time, her brother became eighteen, which was when he could be released. Being an adult, he could also release Clover. As a sort of 'apology' for their poor treatment, the government let them choose what high school Clover would attend. Being the girl she was, and who she wanted to be, she chose the beach-side resort town.

He even tries to prove people who suspect him of eyeing dudes that he likes girls. ("HAVE I MENTIONED THAT I'M STRAIGHT TODAY?" ) Takeshi has a huge interest in cute things and loves to knit, makes crafts and especially mold clay although he is afraid to admit it. Even though he is technically gay, it is rather impossible to tell because of who he is and how he acts... unless you catch him eyeing a guy in the change room. Very ticklish, and absolutely adores pandas. Bio: Takeshi grew up in a family of four right outside of the Iwadate province, with him as an oldest brother out of his three other younger brothers. His dad divorced his mom and left the family, bringing some problems with money, his mom had to work over seas for a few months before she could come back home, leaving Takeshi as the "man" of the household. Takeshi had to work, clean, cook, and fill the roles of being both mother and father. For extra money he worked part-time as a carpenter because he had a neighbor who could needed a bit of assistance. When he was younger, he was constantly bullied in late elementary school for being so flamboyant and always hanging out with girls. He swallowed all of the insults and bottled it inside, he didn't like to fight... one day fed up with it, his bottled emotions exploded and it wasn't pretty. It happened in the boy's washroom when they found out who he liked, they were pushing him around and insulting him and before he knew it he had blood on his fists and the bullies were on the floor either knocked out or crying their eyes out, broken jaws, knocked out teeth, fractured bones... Takeshi was immediently expelled from his elementary school and for the rest of his elementary year he was home-schooled. Overtime his rough exterior developed that hid who he really is, so nobody would hate him and outcast him like they did before. In his junior high school year his mother finally came back from working overseas and decided that Takeshi would move to Iwadate for the rest of his high school year. Now in his senior year at High School, he promised himself that nobody will find out about his secret, but how long will those lies be able to last is the question... On top of that, she's absolutely addicted to stories about heroes (such as Phoenix Ranger Featherman R), possessing a truly startling degree of admiration for anybody acting in the name of righteousness. Unfortunately, because she never got out much, she really isn't that familiar with how normal people are supposed to act, and she's been known to display some odd behavior at times. Among other things, she believes that justice will always triumph in the end, so she may not actually realize it if she's legitimately in danger... it probably wouldn't hurt for her friends to keep an eye on her. Particularly because she's not quite aware of the fact that using her power in the middle of the city is not a good idea. ESPECIALLY as her Persona is a giant robot. Bio: Born to a rather sheltered life, Al never got out very much; she was too busy studying and living up to her parents' expectations, and when she wasn't doing that, she was watching Super Sentai shows, giant robot shows (particularly when they combined!), and all other manner of justice-y material. This had a problematic effect of leading the girl to believe that this is the way the world actually works, since she's practically been brainwashed by the stuff. Recently, her parents (being much more grounded in reality than Al, despite the relevant little details of what they named her after) have been letting her go outside their home and into the city to try and get some reality pumped into her, and as a result, she can often be found walking around the area, looking for a situation where a hero arrives... or where she can be the hero. She's actually quite athletic, despite her choice in clothing. Bio: Kosuke's life was intresting to say the least, brought up into a family derived of Fishermen and Buddhist Monks of the warrior kind. There was a really never a dull moment in Kosuke's life aside from meditation and school, with his father and mother they would set sail out to the ocean hunting down the marine creatures with impossible feats, from great whites to the whales, it all didn't matter like his dad would say "Let it be Godzilla, the Kraken, or the Leviathan itself, if its in the sea We Will Catch It". Whenever they returned to the City of Oshu he would have to go up to the shrine where his grandparents lived to own his skills in discipline and with a staff, but usually neglected his training for something more interesting, like watching the women. Despite that though he truly had a good life, filled with passion and love until his parents decided to set sail on a dangerous day. Off on the sea they were about to get the biggest catch of the century, the biggest marine creature that ever lived around Japan...a whale! But as they were closing in on said target the ocean waves started to rustle violently, going higher and higher. Before long there was a giant tsunami pulling in the ship, they screamed, paniced trying to find some sort of safety. And then there was nothing but darkness as the waves came crashing down. He thought he was dead, but miraculously he was alive..on another ship; one of the rescue boats that came by after the tsunami hit Japan which was caused by heavy earthquake. Kosuke was lucky enough to say that he was a survivor, his parents however were a different story. They had been swept harshly down the sea and no matter how hard they all tried to find them it was all for not. They returned him to Oshu to live with his grandparents. Feeling torn and beaten Kosuke didn't know what to do now, whether or not to follow more in his Father's path. In order to find the answers he began a month long of meditation while perfecting his skills surprisingly as a monk. When it didn't seem that the answer was going to come to Kosuke all hope seem to be lost yet again, until he he heard a voice in his ears. It sounded like his father's and mother's, both of them telling him to carrying on in his life and enjoy it to the fullest. Innocent and naïve, Suzu flows with whatever comes; only protesting or trying to change something when it doesn’t seem correct or nice. She usually apologizes for others’ actions, and will try to make it up for them. She also is somewhat clueless when it comes to some matters…such as the matters of the heart. Despite her being clumsy at times, she is really good at Track, being one of the fastest in the team. Bio: Suzume has spent all her life in Oshu city. She is the youngest, having three older brothers. (who were always just a little overprotective of her…Not in a creepy way, though.) Her childhood was fairly normal, known as a good, if only a little meek, kid. Her peacemaker nature grew as she saw her brothers always fighting…thing she disliked quite a bit. So, she constantly tried reasoning with them…And well, who could deny anything to that little wide eyed sniffling girl? The love for track was born since she was a small girl, her brother and her always chasing each other around…though most of the times it was from them she was running away from, trying to keep dirt or insects out of her hair. There was one time when her oldest brother got hospitalized (nothing was said to her, but the girl still heard it was because of a fight of some sort), that she felt her extreme positivism faltering. Her family was too tense, too nervous, and those sorts of feelings, despite her constant repeating that everything would be alright, are usually contagious. So with spirits down and watery eyes, Suzume sat on the waiting room, worried thoughts about the health of her brother swarming her mind, her eyes only lifting when she felt a presence there in the room as well. A young man with bandages over half his face…and that sharp crimson eye gazing at her. Though, beside the rough exterior, he was the only one who sat across her and tried cheering her up (in a cold and aloof way…but that didn’t matter), when the others were too worried or busy to pay her any attention. She didn’t catch his name that time, but it wasn’t long until she saw him again, finding out he was part of her school. Rumors circled around him, but those never really affected her…only seeing him as the bandaged, quiet guy who helped her when she needed cheering, instead of that evil one-eyed Yakuza. And that’s the reason she can get near him without fearing for her life, and being able to apologize sheepishly each time his cold retorts angers someone, and why she always is trying to talk him into being nicer to others. She is much a cold person as well who really refuses to open up much to others, and will beat someone up if she must. She goes on with life with no fear, or at least doesn't show it at all to others as she hates to look weak like most other girls. Min-Jee is also an avid smoker, and will usually go on with so as to annoy others, or sometimes even actually burn them with the cig. She gets a laugh out of others pain, or it was at least a way to relieve herself from other situations. As rowdy and tough the girl may seem she still has a small part of her girl side, which is usually revealed when she comes across anything that is a penguin. Although, this is a fact that no one truly knows about her. Bio: Min-Jee was born in North Korea, the not so easy part of Korea. Living there her parents were also both Korean's, but the difference would be that her father came from South Korea, while her mother was born in North Korea. South Korea and North Korea truly didn't have their likeness in one another, as it was set to almost war in several occassions. Living life normally wasn't that easy for Min-Jee either, but life never really was like that before when she was younger. Growing up Min-Jee had a carefree attitude, and had a close relation to her father. Her father faced most of the hardship while she was growing up as most people shunned him, especially his side of the family. His father's family was known to have had their fights with many of the North Korean's, which was why his side of the family stayed away from North Korea. They didn't want to get involved, but her father was stubborn and still went with his heart. His father was an army man, but retired early to help with the family. Min-Jee had a great deal of respect towards her parents, till a horrid day had approached her life. Her father had been murdered one night he had gone out, and no one had ever found the killer. This devastated Min-Jee and had even caused her to grown distant with her own mother. She was only at the age of seven when all of this happened to her, so the effects were strong. People thought of her as 'different' for having a father from the other side, especially since it wasn't common, nor easy to see one around where she lived. She was rejected by many, and grew up pretty lonely. She grew a bit used to this lifestyle, and soon started to reject many others as well. She grew a sense of rebellion towards many, and others as it began with refusing to wear the girls uniform to school to soon ditching classes to do who knows what. Her mother grew wary of these actions, and soon moved out of North Korea to protect her. Her next destination in life was Oshu City, Japan. It truly was a different and new lifestyle that both her and her mother was unfamiliar with, but Min-Jee adapted to the envirnment easier than her mother. Although, this was all because Min-Jee still carried on with her rebellious acts. Once she moved here she soon also grew an interest to basketball, and was able to join the girls team as well. She was an excellent player, and with a height that was a little taller than most girls around her playing wasn't so hard. Unfortunately for those who meet him outside of a professional environment, he's also quite cruel, and loves to taunt and look down on others. Having grown up in a shady environment, he's learned to keep information tight against his chest, and so those who think the tall, aggressive young man might not be the sharpest tool in the shed learn the unfortunate truth the hard way; that he's neither weak, nor dumb, and being in a position of authority, he likes to use his talents to push others around, getting what he wants at the expense of other's happiness in the end. Bio: Named after his father's home country, Denmark was the son of a foreigner and his Japanese mother. Though the young years of his life may have sounded romantic, when he was only twelve years old, his father passed away unexpectedly. Though at first his mother tried to support the two, their father had held the family together for a long time and she was simply too use to being supported to become the pillar of strength in his time of need. Instead, Denmark chose to do whatever he could on his own...and soon received a job from the Yakuza, becoming a member of their ranks in return for the promise that he'd be taken care of. For several years he worked as an underling and hardened his heart thanks to the reality of the world, and in turn he became a proficient knee-breaker, wrecking stores and collecting debts from earnest people who had gotten in with the wrong crowd; his crowd, which he'd become all too accustom to. Now going into detail would be telling, but needless to say after several years, he finally 'graduated' when one person became a bit too obstinate; and in turn, he was given orders to remove the person from the picture, permanently. Despite his initial sarcasm at the task, when confronted with the person-who-shall-not-be-named, for the first time the Dane had a serious crisis of conscience, and in the critical moment, he was unable to force himself to kill the man. Assigned a 'partner' to make sure nothing went wrong, Denmark knew there was nothing he could do to avoid finishing the job or going cold turkey...and so he helped his 'partner' to a little nap. The unpleasant, not-so-welcome, extremely violent kind... After that, the terrifying rookie of Oshu was hunted by professional crime in the big city, but in return only victims were returned to his former bosses, all the while causing the crisis to escalate. Then, when he'd gotten in one scrape too many, Denmark ran into someone else on the streets who ended up in the darker shade of the gray area himself; and he and Sai became comrades for the first time, each providing a unique outlook on Oshu. Though the crime in the city certainly hasn't vanished, slowly the terrifying duals between the Modern-Age Battosai and the criminals disappeared, and rumors abound connecting his new acquaintance, Sai, and this sudden drop off in what would have been a to--death man hunt. At the same time, the blond's former affiliations caused their own stirring rumors about Sai forming new connections to the mob, all due to his new all-too-shady friend. Not one to share the past, Denmark chose to move on, and in return for his new found piece started selling information, bought at street value and sold at market price to those who needed it; and of course, rumors abound quickly that Sai makes quite good use of this to know where someone in Oshu will be, before even they do. One last thing to note would be that when once asking about his namesake, which seemed odd, Denmark received this explanation from his father; that he'd obtained it while working for his country, and that though it might be more of a nickname then a real one, it bore a special significance that had been passed down the family for a few generations. Though he never heard what that secret meaning could be, the foreigner hasn't taken his name for granted twice, and bears the reminder that one day he might find out that secret, and put it to use on his own. Oh, and he hates people with big, famous family lineages. It's downright axe-worthyable, if you ask him.
