She gave a slight smirk. "I wouldn't take and under estimate some one just by their looks, friend." Her eyes sparked with something deep within that had risen to the challenge. It was like as if her brother had been taunting her once more. Her look became slightly coy, demure with that underlying spark. "But! I have decided o become the lady my mother never was so your just tough out of luck on a battle with me."

She gave a slight snort. " Better knights in training have fallen to me my friend..." She gave a coy smirk with a swish of her tail. "Mostly because they wouldn't leave my veils alone." She gave a small shrug. "But gloat all you like.. I'm not going to rise to your taunts."

He nudged her neck gently, "Oh come on. You know...you want to." He winked at her laughingly. "I won't take no for an answer."

She turned with a snort her ears pinned back. " Just cool it!" Her look clearly said she was becoming aggravated with his taunts. " You'll just have to settle for a no and be done with it ok?"

She sighed frustrated. "Look... I'm sorry... for you know.. snapping... It's just. that I've tried so hard.. to be something more than just a tomboy..." She cast him a side glance as she chastised herself for loosing her cool... He'd gotten under her skin swiftly.. and it was just.... odd... "I know.. Maybe a good old quest instead hmm??"

She pondered before an almost foal like glint hit her eyes. "I know! We can look for evil doers for Prot the mighty dragon to bring down!" She giggled and dashed off ahead before anything else could be said.

She laughed lightly as she darted here and there. "Prot is very Mighty!" She laughed again as she leaped over a bush. Slamming to a halt, she hunkered down. "Shh... I see them!"

Illarion slowed down beside her, he wasn't sure who "them" was, but apparently it was best to be quick. Walking up slowly, he edged his way beside her. Her hair smelled lovely---he shook his head. He coudln't be thinking about that, what if they were in danger or or...something?

"Don't worry." She whispered as she pointed with her nose. "They are but small bandits... Prot will disband them you'll see." She felt a little silly playing this game with him after all she was an adult.. shouldn't she be acting like one and not just some silly filly stuck on her grandfather's stories again? She bumped him accidentally as she shifted ready to pounce on what really wasn't more than a field of flowers. Her cheeks flushed as she felt her face grow hot. "Sorry..."

"Where?" He tilted his head. He really didn't see what she was talking about. When she nudged into him, he felt his face grow hot, but he pushed her back lightly and playfully.
