"Humm. Well that sounds simple enough, thought I imagine the actual execution takes practice," Frost said with a thoughtful frown, taking the slingshot and trying to follow the boy's instructions. He supposed he shouldn't have hoped to be perfect first try, but it was still disappointing when his projectile whistled straight past the tree he had been aiming at. "Bother," he muttered to himself, "too far to the le-"
Bleep bleep.
Oh lovely. Frost lowered the slingshot and took out his (carefully unmarked) communicator. A text from base. Mmh. Well he could hardly read it here. "I apologise," the blond said with a nod, passing the slingshot back to its owner, "I have just had an urgent message from work, sadly I will have to be leaving now." It would have been nice to have a few more attempts, but one couldn't always have what one wanted in life.

"Ah, si, it does. A lot of practice," he added after the rock the other man had used missed its mark by a sizable margin. "S'okay, just--"
The sudden beeping caught him vaguely off-guard, and he watched with interest as the blond pulled out what looked to be some sort of modified pokedex. Cool. "Oh? Alright," he said, eyebrows raised slightly as he accepted the slingshot. "No problem. See you around." The teen offered a lop-sided grin and a wave before pocketing the slingshot and picking up his bow and arrows again. Time to get back to practicing!
