I'd be interested. If I recall, I have some unpromoted units that are still in the lower levels. :O We might have to do a lv. 20 match though, if that's all right.
Anyway. That'd be perfect to get me back into FETO! sweatdrop I hope I remember my password.

There will be a link at the top of the page towards the right that says "Fire Emblem Tactics Online". Click that.

If anyone wants to play FETO with me - either to get 50/50 win/loss rate and levels and items, or to just play proper games and get the practice and genuine wins or losses - then give me a shout-out here or on FEP. My username over there is MallowNinja. :3 I have a number of Lvl 11-13 (with one Lvl 16) units and a new 6-unit squad of Lvl 1s.

Gah, I get this suffocating -perhaps it would be better to say stifled - feeling when I realize I have no idea what to do on something. I'm at create a class and i'm so damn intimidated by all statistics and stuff, even by the character description (since I don't want to seem like a blatant newb since I don't know what put). If anyone remembers my asking for patching assistance, know that I am still that technically deficient when it comes to...well, technical stuff.
Should I just go for a premade team? ...Gah, I realize i'm being a nuisance (and I realize that some people say that just to incite sympathy, but I really mean it), but it'd be great if I can just get some opinions...

Oh god, I hate numbers to death. The stat system will always be gibberish to me...please someone recommend me a pre-made team or something.
I'm also looking at the post with all the pictures and I can see how it can be useful, but right off the bat I realize i'm right back to that stifling uncertain feeling when I look at the character creation.
...And yes, I did see that message about looking at the FAQs where one can't summarize on a few easy to understand lines the intricacies of the Fire Emblem system and what to do for this and that...but where are these FAQ's anyway? I can't see any handy-dandy links for them, and I doubt personally they'd help me because my issue is mainly "Oh what's the RIGHT way to do this?" I know there really isn't due to all the character creation and certain builds, but I can't help feeling that i'd rather have a quick pro recommendation of how to start and then ease my way into things (based on what I need to learn and what I need to improve on). Assuming i'm going to use a build without inputting any numbers anywhere, can I get at a bit of a newb allowance by someone telling me what to start with?
If no one does, of course, i'll either just drop the whole thing or do a quick trial run of a random build myself. I'm not pro at all and I don't expect the pros to give me assistance when all the (to me) complicated stat calculator stuff is right there on the site (and they themselves can understand it). When I say complicated, I mean to use and to use properly when deciding stuff for a character.

Choose what class you want, it's not hard to tell which ones excel in which stat. Then choose a build/nature/whatever it's called and play with the stats. You can see when a stat maxes at level 20 and 20/20. It may take a little time, but it's really easy. It's so easy that even Joshua has made units, albethem a little poorly statted.
I made up some words there, that should really exist.

Ah geez, i'll just say it: only rarely have I actually looked at stats as a deciding factor for things when I play Fire Emblem. I just go by trial and error to find out which characters are good. I don't understand what these stats are supposed to do when combined and how well they'll work with each character, i'm just not that adept.
I guess i'll throw together a pre-made later. Whatever happens happens.

I believe newly-created units can also re-stat unlimited times for the first... week or so.

I went to balanced premade teams and accidentally took out the generic I WANTED to use (I misread the message). Is it possible to delete my team and start anew?
Edit: Can I delete my account? I want to start fresh.

I can't recommend a pre-made team because I've never used one. They ARE supposed to provide everything you need though.
You're making this more complicated than it is. I highly recommend just playing around with the statistic calculator for a while. FETO doesn't use an RNG for stats; if someone has a 50% Strength growth, it's Strength goes up by .5 every level so you're in complete control of your units. It isn't going to hurt you to play around with numbers for a little bit.
Just read the links I posted. They're VERY new user-friendly (and the first is amusing) and tell you important facts about how the game works to consider when constructing your units (like why you should avoid over capping, how to make skills activate, and how to prevent skills from activating on you).
And you can redo the growths for any unit you just made as many times as you want the first week as it's creation, so don't freak out over making a mistake.

You're overestimating my ability to understand numbers. Even if i'm told what the growths do and such, I wouldn't know who to use them for and how to adjust them. I haven't the faintest clue. I'm nowhere near ready for planning ahead with that kind of stuff. Oh and there's the fact that my internet is quite messed up on firefox for some reason (because the site told me to use firefox for this), so every time I try to open up those pictures it gives me this cannot access webpage thing and it takes about a minute of refreshing to see this stuff. I got halfway into the intro from all this time before I stopped. I even tried using Internet Explorer (which I usually use) and get some internet explorer cannot open the webpages.
But for now, my question is 'Can I delete my account?' so I can start fresh with the team.
