That caused her to smile, any dark feelings about her 'true' name were washed away. "We will both be the ammo and deal the pain?" Oh yes, that caused a smile on her lips. Not that she had been really in a senshi fight yet... but she had a feeling it would be coming soon.
She couldn't help it, also reaching out one more she touched the rough hair at the end of the long spear like object. It was course hair and yet... fluffy. It could have very well been on a stuffed horse. "Does your spear still have the name Mr Saddles?" Lyra wondered, maybe it was still named that. "Maybe more accurately named Mr poke stick now though..." Humor, she was slightly failing at it.
A headtilt now. Her eyes darted away. "...Painite. You all.. like." A motion indicating everything. " Lieutenants, Captains, Generals... you all collect energy, Fight white moon senshi..... etc. Do you by um." A nervous look. "Know what... i am supposed to be doing?" No one really ever told her. She felt a bit awkward being there, she did not know if she should be trying to go for energy or not. A nervous habit she ran her fingers through her hair. Maybe it was not her place to ask this.

Painite laughed and nodded. She could definitely see them fighting Senshi, even though she hadn't seen what the corrupted senshi could even do in a fight. That didn't matter: she was still perfectly sure they would be awesome together.
"Oh, that's what I mean! It's full name is The Spirit of Mister Saddles. It's... kind of a mouthful sometimes, but that's alright. I usually still call it Mister Saddles." She chuckled. "Sentimental, I suppose."
"It is really good at the poking and stabbing, though. Better than I am at it yet, I'm sure, but I'll catch up with my weapon soon enough! It's a blast to use in battle. I'm half glad I don't have to worry about magic to fight with. Give me a sharp stick and some power, and I'm good to go."
She looked up from her weapon induced reverie when Ammolite's tone changed, tilting her head in response when she saw the corrupted senshi had hers in the same pose. She frowned thoughtfully, tapping the side of her head with her staff.
"Well. I'm not sure, really. I've never met one of you guys before. But! I'm sure we can figure it out. Hey, I know. You help us, and we'll help you. You hang out with me, maybe help me with my traps, though maybe not by tripping them yourself next time, watch movies, and I'll help you figure out what you want to do for our team. The way I see it, we all start from scratch, coming in. We're giving simple duties, but we all figure out what we really need and want to do while completing our duties. I'm sure we'll figure out what your calling is!" She couldn't help but be upbeat, offering her a bright smile.

A smile came to her lips as she looked at painite. "You know, i really like you." Reaching out before the girl could say anything, Lyra embraced the other girl in a tight hug.
Stepping away a few moments later, looking rather embarassed, she nodded. "I have learned a few things like. Ilmenite let me see how you take energy... Alkaid teleported with me... and such things, small things. I dont know if i can take energy, but i can teleport if i really think about it. Not my firest instinct you know? And i do have a shield... i could...protect you?" A laugh.
"Not that i think you really NEED it."

Painite smiled brightly, giggling with the hug. She returned it eagerly, not embarrassed in the slightest. Those that came to know Painite quickly learned she very much liked to hug.
There were no rules about Negas being cuddly.
"I'm glad to hear that! I really like you, so we'll be buds," she was excited about that, because she didn't have too many friends, inside or out of the Negaverse. Not that she was constantly lonely and emo about it, but more that she just didn't hang out with people as much as she wanted to. More friends were always welcome.
And they were a Western in the making, which had to mean something, right?
"Protect me huh? That would be good! If I'm honest, I tend to... not think so much about defense. I'll help you practice your energy draining. I'm damn good at that, if I do say so myself." She grinned. Making traps for energy draining was, after all, her favorite hobby. "Teleporting... I'm not very good at. Well, no. I'm good at it. I'm good at everything. I'm just not as good at it as other things."
She grinned cheekily.

A laugh as she stepped aslightly way still standing close and grinning brightly. "Of course you are. It never huts to practice things you are already good at, or so i have been told anyways." Come to think of it, what WAS Lyra good at?
Maybe her charm was making friends... or something. Was that a skill? She would need to ask someone later.
"I dont even know if i can take energy. I have never tried." A head tilt followed by a pause Lyra soon found herself leaning against the captain. Lyra too was a cuddly person, and now knowing Painite liked hugs as well... Lyra might push those boundaries a little and see where the breaking point was.
Maybe.
"Maybe we should test this sometime, I'm sure you'd be good at finding a test subject."

"I find finding test subjects is always the easiest part. And the funnest part is taking the energy. I usually mix it up, so it doesn't get stale. But since you're so new to it and we don't know if you can actually do it, we'll find something straightforward."
She imagined her new friend understood what she meant by mixing it up, since they had met by Painite catching her in a trap.
Not seeming to mind the closeness, she laughed and nodded her head, putting her arm around Lyra's shoulders and giving her a reassuring hug. It wouldn't be too hard to find some helpless schmuck to knock out and steal energy from, and she would be able to practice and see if she could do it. If she was on their side, giving off that kind of an aura and with that much strength, Painite didn't see why she wouldn't be able to.
But Painite never really focused on problems before they happened.
"I'm sure I've kidnapped you from something and your brother will start to worry, but we'll hang out again soon, right? So no rush, Ammo."

"Oh goodness your right!" She perked up for a moment, looking around eyes wide. She was on her way somewhere, and didn't want anyone to worry about her being late.
"We will have to plan for another time then! I'de lov eit if you would show me how to drain energy... maybe its easier than it looks." A nervous laugh as she once again hugged painite.
"Ill see you later then, Pain?" A grin using the nickname. Pain and Ammo, the western gone wrong. Looking around she ducked into the shadows and powered down into Sabine. "Next time ill try not to fall for a trap, not that i dont mind 'dropping' in. See you around!" With a wave of her hand the red head took off once again down the street, turned a corner, and was gone.

Painite agreed and hugged her goodbye, then watched as Sabine left. She powered down as well, collecting her trap and opting to head home.
She had a strong urge to watch movies now.
Very much looking forward to the next time they met up, Gently hummed to herself as she stuffed the rope and rigging into a bag she often brought with her. A duffle bag full of gizmos and odd items to help her set up whatever she was feeling like. She sometimes changed the content of the bags if she had a specific trap in mind.
Once it was all zipped up she headed for home, strolling down the street as any normal member of society would. Next time she would actually catch someone she could drain for some energy, but it was by no means a wasted trip. because now she had a new friend, and next time she would be teaching that friend how to drain energy for herself.
