"Humm?" Frost tilted his head slightly, a curious expression on his face. "Alright, I can't see any issue with that. I don't currently own any grass types, but if I acquire any I shall consult with you before letting them out in here. The same goes for normal plants but with a slightly different word arrangement."
Did Xander have something against plants and grass types? He had seemed quite happy in the forest, but then again by what he was saying it was only certain plants and grass types he didn't like... Ought he to mention something about fire types? Mmh. No. That wasn't something he wanted to discuss, there was no logical reason behind his dislike of them and so he didn't want Xander to know about it. It wasn't as though it was a big problem in any case; so long as they didn't leap all over him he could just ignore any fire types Xander brought in.

Xander picket up the Haunter and stared at it for a second before looking up and giving Frost a smile. "Good because I would hate to walk in one day only to have to dive for my inhaler." he said offhandedly with a laugh. The teen looked back down at the figurine then walked over and placed it on the small table next to his bed. He spent a few seconds moving it around before settling on having it facing where he would be laying down. "Any pokemon you plan on avoiding?" he asked his new roommate and looked over at him. He then moved over and started to busy his self with putting things away but kept his attention on Frost.

"Mmh?" Frost raised his eyebrows slightly; some kind of severe allergy, or asthma then. A fair reason, a far fairer one than he had. "So long as they do not leap all over me, any kind of pokemon is quite acceptable." He could hardly tell this young man he had only just met that fire types made his skin prickle. It was an illogical emotional connection, one that he had no intention of airing.
"Do you wish to finish arranging your things now," Frost said after a moment, "or shall we go and have dinner? I believe there is some kind of vegetable stew on offer tonight that sounded quite acceptable." A lot better than xyz and chips (oh, 'fries') that featured so often in any case.

"Fair enough." Xander said in agreement. He wouldn't want pokemon jumping all over him either, provided it wasn't one of his own. He brushed his fingers against Conrad's pokeball briefly and grinned. The teen knew that while his Eevee was on the easily excited side, he would behave and not bother anyone other then pokemon. At the question he turned to look at Frost with a thoughtful look. "Dinner sounds wonderful, my stuff will still be here when we get back." he said with a small smile and put down the misc. object in his hand, back on the bed.

"Indeed," Frost nodded slightly, and though he didn't actually smile a warmer light entered his pale eyes for a moment. "After you then," he nodded to the door, "if we go now we can beat the rush." Get the food while it was still fresh and hot, and while there was still a chance of getting a table in the corner where he wouldn't feel exposed. He did dislike eating in public, but there was really no help for it in a place like this. Perhaps Xander's presence would distract him a little from thinking about what other people might be doing around him, the noise they made, the smell of their different perfumes or deodorants or in the worst case just unwashed body... Mmh. The less he thought about it all the better, if he got worked up about it he wouldn't be able to enjoy a possibly rather nice stew.

Xander still had his small smile as he walked over to the door and opened it. "No, no, after you." he said cheerfully and held the door for his roommate. It wasn't something he did often unless if looked like a person needed help with a door but hey, manners were always a plus. Hopefully they would arrive at the cafeteria at a good time, other wise he might be tempted to skip and wait till later when he could cook dinner his self.

Frost raised one pale eyebrow and studied Xander in silence for some moments. Well, he supposed it would do no harm. "If you insist," he stepped through the door and once in the corridor turned back to Xander with his eyebrow still raised. Yes, this roommate was an improvement over the last one. Lowering his eyebrow Frost turned away and set off down the corridor. Once he had his back to Xander, he permitted himself a very small, very brief smile. An improvement. A very large improvement.

Xander chuckled slightly, closed and locked the door behind him. He gave Frost a grin when the other man looked back then caught up when he started to walk. He didn't know how things would turn out but so far it seemed like it would be an improvement from his wanderings. He glanced over at Frost before looking back down the corridor. His thoughts were quite a mirror to the older mans as his grin got wider. A very large improvement indeed.
