Esus watched the female for a second before relaxing and allowing the moment to pass. "And just as important!" he huffed in mock importance once her head broke the surface of the water again. "Now come back here, Angel, I still haven't gotten you back for the fist kiss."
The Phim waded into the water, using his wings to keep himself balanced. He was going to catch his demonic little Angel and show her that she wasn't allowed to run away. Only he was allowed to do that. He smirked, recognizing the double standard but then...he didn't whack her on the nose at every opportunity.

“Uhuh…. Keep on wishing dreamer boy” She stated from the water. She tilted her head to the side like she was seriously considering his offer and then glared at him. If he thought she was stupid enough to actually stay around and get caught… well that just earned him another bop on the nose.
“Pfft silly phim, first kiss was payback thus you have no standing to get back with. Second kiss was for saying something slightly profound and thus does not need to be countered… thus there is no reason for me to stay. Hmmm oo look at the fish” and with that she was back in the water. She should probably not let herself get carried off so far from Solarie but there where no kits to watch, the last batch was out trying to find their own mates and there was another Carer. She would be back …. Eventually after she had gotten time to herself.

Esus blew an amused breath and shook his head. She was an odd mix of fun and irritating when she was being playful. He kind of liked it. "Fish my tail." He murmured and dove off under the water after her. The river wasn't very deep, but it was just deep enough to cover his head in the middle.
Waiting for Xiaoshi to swim by, he darted out and nipped gently at her tail. He wondered if he could provoke her into kissing him again and smiled, breaking the surface of the water for a breath.

Xioashi wasn't really swimming but letting the current carry her down the river. She looked up and glared at Esus as he nipped her tail and curled it through the water to wrap around her. Other than the brief moments she used it to take a breath she continued wrapping it around her glaring at Esus.
The water was a bit cold but Xiaoshi was okay with it, having grown up in a colder environment, in fact she wasn't quite certain why she had gone to solarie, only there was a sense that she needed to go into that desert. She watched idly as tiny little fish passed. What was with meeting esus and watching fish

Esus shook his head at her glare and brought his head above the water again. Spreading his wings, he allowed the river to buoy him, though he didn't allow the current to take him far. Catching himself a small fish, he went to the back to eat his little snack while Xiaoshi decided to hide in the water. Little cheating vixen, he thought with affection.

Xiaoshi swam over to a more shallow section of the river and latched herself on to a rock watching Esus eat his little snack. She wasn’t the least bit hungry at the moment but it was a good opportunity to think after all. Mostly about things like her tribe and what her best friend was doing at the moment. Then there were the things about Esus. He was definitely a lovable annoying confusing leech sort of like the sun. did he really have nothing better to do than try and make her feel all happy like inside?

Esus looked up and caught sight of Xiaoshi watching him for a few seconds. Smiling, Esus got up, strolled to a patch of un washed sand, then rolled over. He wiggled to get at an itch on his back, then basked in the sun, shooting Xiaoshi an upside down grin before closing his eyes.

Figuring that was enough creepy cat staring, she let her tail swish a bit in the water before tilting her head to the side. "why me?" she asked genuinely curious. Couldn't esus go after more pretty phim girls? After all they where much prettier than her. Then again he was a bit of a goof ball she decided looking at his upside down loopy grin. Oh dear if he was never going to let her go she was doomed. "I suppose I have in-laws? dont phims usually have 2-4 kids?" she asked.

Esus cracked an eye and regarded the vixen for a second before closing his eye and wiggling again. "Why you? Why not? You're entertaining, you aren't self effacing, and you've got a pretty tail that" he opened both eyes, "goes with all the rest of your prettyness. You're also a challenge, and fun to hang around. You're also going to catch a cold if you stay in that water much longer." He teased.
"As for inlaws, I have a brother, a sister, and of course my two fathers."

“Water isn’t that cold, we’re close enough to the ocean, desert, and it’s well in the swing of summer. I’ll be fine besides I grew up in a frozen waste land, and if I get chilled there is a hot spring about a mile to the west of us” she countered content to watch him from her little rock perch. Her eyes narrowed at the pretty part and after she swished it in the water once more she quickly retracted it out of view. “You sir have a tail fetish.”
It kind of made her feel left behind. Of course she knew Hibari had kids as she knew esus was his son from the first time they met but it kind of made her feel left out. Frey had made her a god mother and Hibari had his own spawn. It just left her childless. “Hmmm perhaps I’ll meet them some day as well?” she said with a questioning tone and tilting her head to the side.

"Fine, fine. But if you get a cold, I'll be there to snuggle you. And your tail shall be defenseless." He said, grinning at her. He rolled over and shook some of the loose sand from his feathers.
"If you want to meet them, Angel, all you have to do is say so. I can take you to them pretty easily." He said with a yawn.

Xioashi sighed and shook her head. “I wont get cold from something as silly as this” she stated and clutched her tail around her body a bit tighter. Stupid tail lover. It wasn’t even that special. It had weird aqua arches and violet
“I guess I could, might as well get it over with while I am agreeing to be your ma-” she quickly shut up and went sinking back into the water again. She did not just even start to think that. Sure it was probably true you could call them something like mates but it hadn’t been brought up at all and she… she was screwed yep. No other way to say it.

Esus grinned at her slip up and lowered his muzzle to his paws, tail swishing lazily behind him. "We can go visit them now, if you want to Angel. We can stop in on my sister first, then my dad. The other two are a little harder to find." His estranged father and brother would be a little harder to get a hold of, but not impossible if Xiaoshi really wanted to meet them.
"You're going to have to get out of the river, however." Esus pointed out with a grin.

“Fine I’ll get out of the river but that’s only because I want to see Hibari again” Xiaoshi stated hoping out. “and see if I’m doom. I swear if your sister is anything like you…” she warned although there was a light tone to her voice. Hopefully this wasn’t going to bit her on the butt sure she had seen Esus occasionally when time permitted it but she had hardly gone out on a journey with him.
It was kind of funny here she was ditching the tribe to go meet inlaws. Well Unia did it all the time to visit family and stuff. She had a better excuse since there where no kits left to help raise.

Esus smirked at her and waggled his eyebrows. "Oh, sure. Use my father as an excuse." He teased, stretching his wings. "And no, my sister and I are nothing alike. ...And if we are don't tell us." He said with a pained look on his face. "We don't want to know."
