"Pygi and Neph; Pidgey and Spinarak. Those are my two that -really- need the training. I brought Palu and Lasi wi' me too, though- Pidgeotto and Zubat. They aren't in as much need o' training as the other two, but I'm sure if anyone wanted, they'd, uh, be happy enough to battle..." Tambrey piped up as Izaya inquired after other pokemon. She wan't really planning on training Lasi and Palu too much today, but she thought she'd mention them, knowing sometimes people had specific wishes in the opponents they sought to train against. The dark haired grunt smiled at Skiron and Persephone; she wondered, though, how Neph might react to seeing them again... In fact, this might be a good thing for the spider-like pokemon, to see such opponents once more. Her thoughts turned from the battle, however, as she heard Faleen's warning... Far from creating an foreboding, her curiosity became piqued. What might this pokemon be that the agent should feel the need to issue a warning? "Er, I have no problem wi' it." Tambrey raised her left hand slightly to show she had no objection to Faleen training in the same room as them; she had found herself very interested.
Pygi turned her head as Celty floated closer and hopped, pleased. She understood the gesture and rather hoped the trainers would understand it too. The little bird didn't really understand the strange exchanges between humans, or why this important seeming woman was cautioning all the other humans about whatever pokemon she had brought with her; Pygi was just impatient to see the other pokemon arrive from their pokeballs and see potential new friends. She warbled happily at Skiron and Persephone, remembering them, but not bitter at all at having lost before. They'd trained together so therefore that ghost and that Glaceon were clearly her friends too.

The trainee sighed. "As stubborn as usual. Fine, fine, do as you wish. Let's just get started, shall we?"
He watched patiently as Frost released Persephone alongside Skiron, noticing Faleen's attention fix onto the odd-colored pokemon. He had to admit, it was an attractive specimen. Still, though, he had a feeling that Frost wouldn't answer any questions he asked him about her. Not to mention they needed to stop talking and start training.
Upon seeing the familiar pokemon, Celty nodded in greeting, but was either too quiet or shy to speak to them. Perhaps she felt unworthy to say anything, as she had seen their power and knew they were far more experienced than she.
"That's fine, Faleen-san. Like with Tam-chii's Spinarak, I'm sure it'll be fine with all of us and the other pokemon to watch it. Better than trying to control it on your own, at least."
He glanced to Tambrey. "Everyone ready? How many do we have altogether? If Agent Faleen plans to use one pokemon, then that would make six. We could have one-on-one battles with three pokemon on each side. Does that sound fair?" Oirhara cast Tambrey a sideways glance. "Unless you'd like to bring out more of yours, Tam-chii."
Celty, hearing this, scooted to 'sit' right in front of Pygi almost protectively. If they were going to be on teams, she wanted to be sure she could watch out for the little bird and support her as a teammate. Not that she didn't admire Skiron and Persephone, but she preferred to face them as opponents to see what they were capable of this time around. After all, she had already worked alongside them at the outpost. Patiently, she looked from Persephone to Faleen, wondering what pokemon the last woman would bring out to battle.

One on one battles, but three on each side? He wasn't sure he followed. Surely one on one battles involved just two pokemon? Maybe he meant three one on one battles at once without interaction? Was Izaya talking nonsense or was he just missing the point? That happened sometimes; all the words washed over him and somehow didn't make sense, it was like he spoke another language, or could understand each word on its own but not how it related to all the other words... Well it didn't sound like what he'd been planning to do so he would just more or less ignore it.
"I was planning to pitch Skion against Persephone," Frost replied with a shrug, his face impassive, "but I could perhaps be persuaded to change my mind... Oh, and I have no objection to you letting out whatever it is, Faleen."

When all Three of the present Rockets give their approval, Faleen's hand reached down to the strap on her thigh, where she pulled off the darkest of the balls. Closing the small black ball into her hand for a moment, before it expanded, spreading her fingers as she held the dark ball.
Rockets didn't exactly follow the rules when it came to how many pokemon to use in a battle, sometimes it was three on three. sometimes ganging up on the opponent was a good option.
"Alright than, will we be teaming up or will it be a free for all?"

"Erm. Well. I'd j'st like to train Neph and Pygi... They really need the experience..." They'd probably be no match for most of these pokemon; indeed she'd already seen them face off against Skiron and Persephone, but she did want to get more battling in. Lasi's pokeball rocked a little, as though he was eager to come out upon hearing the suggestion that Tam' use more pokemon, but she ignored it for a moment. The little bird and the bug needed training more and she could make it up soon enough. "I'm willing for either... and ready whenever..." She piped up, though noting mentally that her pokemon probably were both going to be at somewhat of a disadvantage here once more... And she hadn't even seen Faleen's pokemon yet. Still... She didn't feel confident that'd it'd be anything Spinarak or Pidgey might be strong against. A red light announced the release of Neph, who chittered and scowled, irritated at everything and everyone already.
Pygi tilted her head and peered around Celty cheerfully. Yay, training! And now that fun grumpy bug had been let out too! She was sure she could make her a friend this time! Especially with a friend like Celty already out here to help.

"Oh, I see. You're intent on isolating yourself," Nakura jabbed at Frost's plans of pitting his own pokemon against each other. "What happened to your sense of team spirit, neh?"
Izaya's brows shot up. "Free for all? Is that allowed? I like the sound of that." His gaze rested intently on Faleen's dark ball, suddenly interested in its occupant. He hadn't ever encountered a dark pokemon yet. Dark-types, yes, but not dark-natured pokemon in dark balls.
"Hehe, that sounds like a good motto, Tam-chii. Almost like out of a manga - 'I'm willing for either and ready whenever'. Did you come up with that yourself?"

Good grief, the brat really was unbearable. Give him Izaya tied to a chair in a dark room, some slivers of wood, and access to the boy's fingernails. Was that really so much to ask of the world? It wouldn't make any mess or do any permenant damage, but it would get the insect to use his voice for creating entertaining screams rather than spewing annoying drivvle. "Watch your tongue trainee," Frost said, his voice soft and silken, "if you can't persuade it to form respectful words, you might find yourself without it one of these days. In any case," he went on in more normal tones, turning to Faleen, "I am quite happy to have a free for all. A chaotic battle environment is to be expected on missions after all." There was no doubt in his mind about what target he would send his pair after.

Again, Faleen didn't interject as the two spoke to one another, Izaya seemed to have little regard for rank, despite their earlier conversation. She knew this was what got him in trouble in the first place.
"Remember the first time we spoke Izaya, we are a team, but rank does matter." She politely reminded him. "Its always healthy to keep that fact in mind." He was already learning this lesson the hard way. But Frost did seem rather agitated by this man, she hoped to avoid further tension between the two.
Everyone seemed to be ready, they all had their pokemon out, and they were setting up for a free for all battle. Faleen would be using one pokemon today, one she had been working on for some since shortly before she was promoted.
With a flick of her wrist, the black ball was tossed into the air, and a second later burst open, gushing a fountain of bursting dark energy, pulsating slightly as if splashed to the floor, and quickly gathered into a mass. Breaking away as the ball closed, and flew back to Faleen's hand, the Agent stepped forward once, staring closely at what appeared to be a keystone, one of a Spiritomb no doubt.
For a time it sat in silence, not moving. one could wonder if it was going to come out at all. Faleen knew better than that though, as her eyebrows arched slightly, not taking her Hazel eyes off the stone. Her subtle reaction to the stone could have been due to a steadily rising howl that was coming from the stone, A howl that rapidly grew into a mortified shrike, no a collection of screams. At the same time, inky black tendrils of transparent smoke began to curls upward from the stone, swirling more rapidly the louder the collective shrieking of a hundred souls filled the room.
The black mass grew, blood orbs bubbled to the surface of its intangible body, a wide red mouth agape with a cruel smile while a cackle rose up amongst the shrieking, eyes snapping open, while a solitary swirled pupil immediately finding the three humans in the room.
"That will STOP! This INSTANT!" Faleen had to yell over the pokemon's shrikes. As a result through, the room became very quiet, and a swiveled eye glided into the neighboring socket, to stare at the Agent who had commanded its obedience.

Tambrey frowned slightly, a little confused by the question. "A motto... Um. I guess 't could be but it's really jus'... I was just saying that I was ready." She explained with a sheepish smile. A motto though? She wasn't sure. Some people had mottos, she knew, and she was pretty familiar with the idea from manga or cartoons... Not that she'd admit that right now. Mottos always seemed liked they'd be a bit cheesy to actually use... Not that she was tempted to try that now... Hm.
Another exchange between Frost and Izaya. Hrm. Tambrey frowned a little. "Well... We all probably intended t', y'know, battle ourselves before we found eachother here?" It was probably unwise but she'd found herself rather liking the both of them and so, though not as authoritive as Faleen's response obviously, she decided upon a small effort at 'preserving the peace'.
And then Faleen let out her pokemon. Tambrey's eyes widened. Uh. Scary. Scary ghost. Persephone seemed creepy. Celty seemed lovely. This thing seemed absolutely terrifying. The dark-haired girl found herself involuntarily taking a few steps back... Arceus, it was /looking/ at them. She was rather speechless and a little shocked. A pokemon had never quite scared her like that before...
Pygi had suddenly taken to trying to hide with/behind Celty. She'd try and befriend that one... much much later.
Neph chittered and narrowed her eyes. She was too furious to be scared... or at least realise she was scared. Another ghost. Bah.

Though quite oblivious to Grunt Frost's rather gruesomely imaginative fantasies, the trainee realized he was pushing his limits when the controlled, frigid man actually started threatening him. It was subtle, yes, and skillfully indirect enough that no one else might have taken him seriously, but at least Izaya had the sense not to underestimate those who seemed to bear him ill will. He valued his own well-being too much to do so, even at the cost of his entertainment. Izaya cherished his tongue very dearly and did not wish to be without it.
"Yes, sir," Trainee Nakura replied, though not without the slightest trace of sarcasm. "A chaotic battle...you have a way with words. Alright, so where was this creature of yours, Faleen-san...?"
No sooner had he asked before the agent released her dark pokemon. Though he managed to keep a calm, outward demeanor, Izaya felt the hair on the back of his neck stand on end. This was certainly not a Spiritomb to mess around with. Here he had though Persephone was vicious, but this one...using a dark ball on a dark-type? Spiritomb was a pokemon known for its malice, too. Who knew what the influence of the ball had done to twist its personality into something even more wicked? It seemed that among the three ghosts, Celty was the odd one out; if only because of her more quiet and benign nature which Izaya was starting to realize was uncharacteristic of her species.
"It listens," Izaya observed. "Is that a trait of the dark ball, or did you have trouble with it early on? I'm impressed." He glanced at the timid-seeming Tambrey, wondering what she thought of the newest pokemon. He smiled when the female grunt spoke up, recognizing her attempt to quell the tension in the air. She said nothing when Faleen's Spiritomb emerged, but Izaya noted her slight change in expression. So then, dark pokemon didn't seem to be particularly common among Team Rocket. He wondered if they were any easier or difficult to control.
Celty floated before the two others of her kind; a little intimidated and, yes, maybe a tad bit frightened herself. As they were both pitch black with an accent color for each, their demeanor seemed to fit their shadowy appearances perfectly. The teal and brown Spiritomb drew herself up. She didn't like to fight particularly, but if she was going to train against the others and show them what she was made of, she knew she would have to toughen up. Besides, she had little Pygi to think about. The many souls that made up Celty whirred and churned as one, eager to display their capabilities to do what was required of them and how able they were as a pokemon.

"Interesting," Frost said in neutral tones, studying the dark Spiritomb thoughtfully. "I really ought to acquire myself a dark pokemon at some point," he added with a nod, "fascinating process... In any case, shall we get on? I for one didn't come down here to chatter, after all." Especially not with that giggling little worm around. Oh the things he would do with a lighter and some fish hooks.
For her part, Persephone grinned. This was a little more like it! She didn't address the other Spiritomb, but her approval would be clear in her expression to another of her species. Yes. It would be good to fight beside this one, such fun they could have with the mortal things before their tiny lives finally ended in beautiful screams...

Faleen only took her eyes off of the Spiritomb at Izaya's comment, followed by a question. "Its a work in process" she said, her previous warning lending into this answer some. "He has impulses we're still working on." She returned her gaze to the dark type, carefully watching for any signs that his obedience might be slipping.
As it was though, the Spiritomb's incorporeal body simply rotated gently over the keystone it was linked to. A steady series of low hums imitating from its form. He eye flashed wickly in its sockets, darting from one to the other, as each human in the room was scanned hungrily.
The haunting drawn was joined with a cackle, before he finally noticed the pokemon in the room. mouth opening wide in his cackle as his stone rose from the floor a few feet.
Faleen's eyes narrowed softly for a second, watching her pokemon, before she stepped back next to Frost and looked to the others. making sure to keep his ball in hand, and ready if needed.

Tambrey found herself needing to take a few deep breaths and repeating comforting thoughts within her head. There was little risk here, she found herself going over within her mind, Faleen was in control and could bring the ghost back if there was any real danger. She wished she wasn't feeling so unnerved by a pokemon- she was studying these beings, helping with experiments and learning about their traits and mechanisms and yet, face to face with such a dark being- something she should be fascinated by- inspired very little but an urge to go very, very quickly away from here. Still, she forced herself to swallow her fear and stand a little straighter.
"He's.. uh, very impressive..." She tried to compliment, truthfully, though her feelings were certainly tempted to include words including 'terrifying' and 'horrifying'.
Pygi remained very watchful, especially of the dark ghost. She looked to Celty and Neph though, and seeing them, apparently braving up to the other pokemon made her feel slightly shamed about her reaction to cower. She puffed herself up, and not unlike an impression of her trainer, stood a little straighter to swallow her fear.

Trainee Nakura watched the dark pokemon for a time before casting Frost a small smirk. "Right. Seeing as we have no room for patience in here...Spiritomb is a dark and ghost-type, correct? Which means it has no weaknesses, not even against itself." He'd learned that from the facility they had been studying Celty in before he had stolen her. "This should be interesting indeed. Not like they're fire-types we can dump water on if they get out of hand. I suppose this really will be a test of our control over them."
Giggling at Tambrey, Izaya ran a hand through his dark hair. "You could call him that, sure. Not the word I'd use to describe him, though. Seems like he could defeat some opponents with his introduction alone." Though he realized the girl was just being polite, the trainee wasn't one to mince his words - at least not when it wouldn't benefit him. "Anyway, as Frost was saying, let's begin. We all seem ready enough."
Celty, her attention focused more on Pygi than the dark Spiritomb or Persephone, laughed a little in her own amusement, charmed by the little flying-type's effort to be brave. As soon as she registered her trainer's words, however, she looked over to him patiently, waiting for an order. They would do this together and they would show what they could do.
Given that he had been reading up on other things as part of his special training course, Izaya hadn't had much time to spend on reading about Spiritombs or pokemon attacks. He had intended to just let Celty do whatever it was she could do, but with Frost and Faleen around now, he knew that wouldn't fly. They had competition now, and he didn't mean to lose.
Thinking fast, the least-experienced pokemon trainer took out his Rocket 'dex from a parka pocket and flipped it open, looking up his ghost and dark-type. "Celty," he spoke loud and clear, "Use Curse."
Celty blinked and tilted her head a bit. No, she didn't know an attack called Curse.
Izaya frowned. He glanced back at the 'Dex where all the attacks a Spiritomb learned by level were listed. She must have forgotten Curse long ago, if she had ever learned it in the first place. It was only one of many starting moves for her species to have.
"Fine. Try Confuse Ray."
If it worked, then it seemed to have backfired, because no one looked more confused than Celty herself.
"Spite?"
Nope.
"Shadow Sneak."
Ah, there was a command she recognized - a variation of Quick Attack. Turning to the looming shadowy figure that had begun to levitate across the floor, Celty's own shadow stretched to reach Faleen's spiritomb. Since Izaya hadn't specified a target, she decided she would attack the pokemon she most viewed as a threat.
At the moment, that happened to be the only actively-moving creature, the dark ghost. Celty wouldn't let it get to Pygi. Not if she could help it. The teal and brown Spiritomb snuck along her elongated shadow to appear behind Faleen's, poised to attack.

About time too. Giving a satisfied nod Frost whistled sharply to Skiron, pointed at Celty and then gave another whistle; a lower longer one this time. Chirping acknowledgement the eeveeloution bounded forward a few paces before unleashing an Ice Beam on the ghost and dark type.
Turning then to his second pokemon, Frost treated the black and gold creature to a very hard stare. "Persephone! Confuse Ray on the Spinarak!"
The difference in the two pokemon’s level of training was quite clear in that overt command, and in the speed in which the commands were executed; where Skiron had got to work right away Persephone paused for a couple of moments looking thoughtful before at last deciding to obey and turning the befuddling attack onto the bug type. Still, at least she'd listened and he hadn't tried to make her use an attack she didn't have. Clearly Izaya had a lot to learn but despite despising him Frost didn't especially judge him negatively for this; ignorance was excusable so long as one made a sincere effort to rectify said ignorance.
