"Well, I'm always looking for more good luck," Sonja said gratefully accepting the gift, slipping it behind her ear, right above her hairsticks. "It's kinda my saving grace. So..." she beamed, "I never got a sacred flower before. This had got to be one off the best gifts ever. How'd you learn that story, the one about the sun and the lotus?"

Akh smiled. "My grandfather was never close to his mother but even he listened to her stories. Before he had my mother he travelled a lot too and listened in the shadows. Half of what he knows he was taught by his mother, the other half is from his travels. He in turn taught my mother who taught me. My own name is a trem from the culter, so is my mothers, so is my grand-fathers, so is my great-grandmother. My grandfather said he's own brother's family also uses trems from the culter to name some of his own family. It's all very connected for me."

"Because I'm still trying to learn everything about where I am now," Sonja said happily. "Haven't really explored the mountains yet or the plains much or the lakes, and I hear there's merpeople who live in them!" she said excitedly. "I guess I don't see much of a reason to explore other places when I'm still trying to figure out this one."

Akh laughed. "Can't argue with that one. I know some of the lands but not all...There is just way too much land to cover in one life time. Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the roses or other flowers a long the way. It's one thing to see, it's another to take in."

Sonja's eyes grew wide, "Now That I would LOVE!" She bounced excitedly at the prospect of flying...even more so at the prospect of flying with someone who wouldn't baulk at her every idea and tell her how dangerous it was. "You know," she grinned. "This could be a lot of fun. You said before you liked the mountains?"

Akh nodded to her. "That I do. There is a hidden beauty within the mountains. The crisp air, the smell of the trails. and the sight of it all. It is simply beautiful." Fun, hopefully. Akh had never really flown with anyone outside of his family. It made him wonder what the daredevil before him would try to do.

Akh had to think about this one for a moment. "Possibly when the sun is no so high. Even though the mountains are cool, the peeks do not offer much protection from the sun. The sun can get a bit harsh so there is no reason one of us should just drop from the sky."

Akh chuckled lightly. "I'm not too sure. I'm not the most talkative being. I'm afraid I would not know what to ask a lovely lady such as yourself anymore...As evident from my last question.
