Just quoting to get everyone's attention here ^^
Any questions, ideas (particularly about any additional contests to do), suggestions, or anything else you'd like to say, just go ahead and let me know ^^ besides if you feel I shouldn't be doling out a possible 500k for this. Because I'm doing it because I feel like it ^^ if anybody wants to fund this further, past the possible 400 additional members and the 100k in prizes, then you can help me out, otherwise we'll go with that.
Yup, that's all for now, I think. I look forwards to hearing your thoughts on this ^^

I like the contest ideas...especially the tektek one. How about a poem/haiku contest? Maybe some random gen/dice roll contests as well. I can help with forum watching and editing and such. Pretty much whatever is needed...more or less.

I love poetry, particularly haiku ♥
Don't wanna stretch the money too thin, though. Hmm.
400k for the prospective members. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for 20k, 10k, and 5k respectively, for an art contest and a tektek contest. Then 15k for the best poem, and 5k for like three random gen/dice roll contests. That'd be 500k overall, and that'd be where I'd probably be comfortable with the distribution of gold.
Sound good? I'm probably going to wait until this weekend to start with getting all this business rolling, I have two big projects and two exams for the end of this week >< but after this week ends, I'll be able to relax and worry about this better

Art competition: pros: You'd find good artists, a lot of people would comment on the art, vote on them and such. It is a pretty good competition in my opinion, but only if many people participate in it. cons: not many will join because some just wouldn't bother themselves with it. Then there are those who make epic graphics but can't draw too good, my suggestion is make a competition now, then wait a few days later after the 1st competition to make the 2nd, as in 1st week drawing competition, 3rd week graphics competition. Your funds won't be depleted that fast and it actually forces the members to post more often. Random Number: pros: many will join( easy to compete in), will probably be the most popular. cons: normally people would just roll a number, no chatting at all. So not that good a way to make people communicate with each other. Poetry: pros: I know there are a lot of people out there who like this, besides you could make a few subtopics letting people give their opinions on the poems, chatting ensues and friendships form smile Cons: Some poetry can be plagiarized >w< and I know of quite a few sites... Guess the price: Pros: same as the random dice rolling contest, but you can make them interact with each other as to giving reasons why the tektek should be priced that much/little. Cons: Same as the random number, some might just leave a price and leave.

I've been finding myself coming into a bit of stress lately (all sorts of homework and projects and such due this coming week, then finals next week). But after next Wednesday, I'll be essentially done with homework and the like, and finals shouldn't be that stressful for me, so we'll probably be looking at a launch coming at the end of this coming week. Or at least get all the details set. Probably. If not, sometime the following week. We'll see ^^
I'm in a creative mood right now. Screw dynamics homework that I was working on. I'm gonna go write some poetry, maybe do some doodles, and watch some anime ♥
