P3QT Metheshrew I made the mistake of posting a comment online on an article about Rob Patty. I stated that I must be missing something, because I don't find him attractive and don't understand what women see in this guy. Well, I forgot all about it with school work and all and going to the movies with friends to see Scream 4 and Insidious. ( Scream was more laughable than scary, and I found Insidious to be frightening. Both were good movies). Just out of curiousity I visited the article again to see if the Twi-tards gave me a low rank. I found that a 51 year old woman replied to my comment stating that Robert Pattinson is attractive in his 'own dirty way.' That wasn't the part that got me, even though I disagree. The part that got me was the fact that she assumed that because I don't find him attractive I must be a guy. She stated that women are attracted to men like him and that men are not supposed to understand why. Well, I doubt that she will see my reply as the article is two days old, but I replied to her by stating, "I'm a girl, smart one." I once got a similar reaction when I announced I thought the movie "Red Eye" sucked balls. It was a poorly written film with some big name stars that I think was supposed to be a feminist film but slowly fell into the typical "all men are evil" story and then about an hour of beating the s**t out of some guy (by a female star of course). But the female audiences seemed to love it! So when I posted a negative opinion on the movie everyone immediately assumed I was a male. Why I enjoy looking at Cillian Murphy and believe him to be a good actor, I don't believe that it was his best work. I just hate it when people assume things about someone just because they disagree with common reviews of a movie. It's so infuriating. Sometimes I wish I could reach into my computer screen and grab ahold of the person. LOL

Whoa, a 51 year old woman? Good lord, Robert Pattinson needs to run to a different country and then change his whole look and name

I think this'll be obvious, but you know what's just as sad? If a 51 year old guy said that he had the hots for Ms. Stewart and he gets ripped to shreds over the double standard.
Then again, I've seen Daily Show fans talk about how Olivia Munn's a waste of time for being on the show or isn't funny, and the male fans are labeled as "gay" or some other crap for saying it.

It's really sad, you see all the Twi-moms who love Robert who are close to 50s and they aren't labeled anything, it's just accepted. I'm pretty sure my aunt around the same age wouldn't get crap if she talked about Robert Paterson (as I am sure she has >.<) when if my uncle, again same age, said anything about Kristen Stewart he'd get crap for it.

Wow. People need to stop making freakin' assumptions. When I tell people that I'm not interested in dating guys, it must automatically mean I'm a lesbian. But I'm not. I just don't want to get married or date is all. stare
On a related note, that fifty year old needs to get a life. All girls don't have to like Patterson. And I really hate the whole "Thousands of fangirls can't be wrong, right?" That's flawed reasoning.

Right. Thousands of people just share the same opinion, nothing more.

Enormous fail on her part. I'm a girl and I don't think he's attractive in the least. =/ In fact, he's kind of gross.
