Shehk patted the patchwork on the shoulder.

"Giving a compliment for compliment's sake is nothing to apologize for. I think there are many ghouls who would enjoy getting a compliment that wants nothing else from it but to be given. Just be honest." she said, her own pointer about his attempts to 'pick up' a ghoul.

Unfortunately for Calder, Christof's attempts to steal Shehk away from Nukpana would be falling flat on their face; she was rather attached to the skinwalker even for all of his oddities.

"Pick up lines are also questionable. But good luck on making your friend feel better." She paused after a moment, pounding one fist into the open palm of her other hand. "Which reminds me! We still need to watch that movie together. Let me know when you're available for that, would you?" She tilted her head ever so slightly, her ears perking up.

Christof nodded, still flushing and feeling the brunt of embarassment. At least Shehk seemed to be taking it well. Things could have gone a lot worse, right?

And he did technically already have a date set up with her. Perhaps not... a KISSING date, but a date none the less.

The corners of his mouth twitched up in an anxious smile over the edge of his scarf as he returned to his notebook, scribbling away quickly before offering it to her:

Working on an experiment at present. Taking a lot of time. Could take break some time, though. Phone currently broken, have been checking messages in library. Any time is good. Excited to see movie, haven't watched many. Usually no time.

He glanced over his shoulder again, once more looking for any sight of the kelpie, wondering if this would appease him. What he did see, though, was a rather... lovely undead ghoul in a pinched corset, who's dimensions were far more distracting than, no offense meant, than the Pricolici. His eyes widened, face flushing afresh just as it had started to die down.

Honestly, Shehk was quite aware that she wasn't exactly the most..uhh..curvy female at the school. In fact, she wasn't ashamed of it either. She..was.. Well. SHE JUST WASN'T BUSTY, OKAY? She'd deal with that some other time though. Then again, she probably was immune to such comparisons after so much time with Sin and FEARleading.

Which was delightful in and of itself.

"Well. I'm free most evenings. I have clubs most days. However, I think when you need a break you can just find my door and knock. I'll likely be in there. Or you can leave me a note on my door if I'm not. It shouldn't be too bad. I'll...try to make the place presentable."

There was a pause as she made a face.

"Unfortunately my instincts are 'leave important stuff in one corner, not important stuff in the other'...." being canine sort of sucked in that way. Forbid if there was a squirrel in the tree outside of her window during the movie...

she'd likely leap out the window to try and get it. Alas.

Sarias continued her journey right up to the group, her hips swaying with every non-bone jutting movement, her eyes resting on her target, the quaint shop of smiling, friendly monsters. Treat her with respect will they! Give her unlimited customer service above the call of duty! How dare they.Oh how she would make them pay, pay with tears, pay with their sou– “huh?”

She hadn’t noticed how much the group of three were in her way. They literally blocked her path, her path to sweet revenge & torment! Wrinkling her nose in disgust she stroked her hair with a fevered hand and with menace in her eyes continued to break right through them. She wouldn’t stand aside for chatting little nobodies, no-one was going to break her stride, if walls were no match for her these three freaks stood no chance.

“The words you’re looking for my dears are ‘Am so very sorry for getting in your way’.”

Christof continued his bashful look as Shehk described the state of organization of her room, twisting his notebook in his hands. Going into a ghoul's room... that wasn't Mistress's, that didn't count- that was strange and terrifying territory. But apparently it was on the agenda.

This was an improvement, right?

Right.

He was making progress, this was good. Already he was making more... friends.

Suddenly, though, an irritated voice made him flinch, glancing over his shoulder to the undead magestythat was Sarias over his hunch. His eyes widened, twitching from the stitches on either side of her lips down to the corset showing off those wonderful anatomical attributes-

Flinching, he reached to suddenly snatch the first note from Shehk with Calder's curly handwriting, eyes wide and face stiff and pale as he thrust it out towards the undead ghoul with a bit more fervor than he had meant.

"Do you have a needle? I saw you and my heart fell apart at the seams."
it still read.

He practically huddled by the Pricolici as though she, in lue of the hiding kelpie, could offer some support in this bold gesture.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? He was doing well! TWO ghouls, now, gathered around him!
PostPosted: Thu Apr 21, 2011 11:56 am

Shehk's ears stood up a bit when the other ghoul spoke...and then slowly sunk down and backwards, her previously friendly expression turning immediately sour as she looked at the other ghoul, placing one hand on her hip and frowning. The pricolici was practically built to be a shield sometimes, given how she carried herself;

Was she afraid of this ghoul? Certainly not.

"We weren't in your way until you decided to walk in this direction. That's just poor judgement on your part, frankly." she retorted, waving one hand dismissively. "It takes less effort for you to take two steps to the left and then keep on walking then to try and bully us into doing it for you."

She must have been what was called a 'Mean Girl', if Shehk understood the lingo correctly.

Well...she wasn't expecting that. Fear, instant grovelling for forgiveness, the usual. But a note? Plucking it from the patchworks hands she brought it up to her face allowing her eyes to devour the words, reading it with a relish. Her features now hidden behind the square wall of paper it was hard to distinguish was she felt, almost. Nothing could shield that grin from creeping out behind this paper mask. She let her arm come down slowly as if playing some seductive peekaboo game and gently extended her arm to hold the note out to the undead boil. The pricolici was ignored completely, all Sarias heard was yelping of some description, something uneducated and droll no doubt. She didn't have time for such frivolous conversations. But her gaze was stuck fast on Christof. Mouth twisting into a devious grin and eyes quickly following suit she raised a perfectly shaped eyebrow and poured all the sweetness she had into words.

"My dear...i wouldn't expect anything less." She stated as she waved the note in front of him, the hint for him to take it from her was overwhelming. But he didn't get the chance. With one flick of the wrist she crushed the note between her talon like nails and flung it the floor.

"But i deserve so much more." She purred, threateningly. This boil had taken it upon himself to interact with her, to stop her errands, interrupted her day. The shop ghoul could wait now, she had a new play thing.

Christof side-stepped behind the taller ghoul beside him, heart racing as he once more looked around for any sign of Calder, but the Kelpie was too good at hiding. Perhaps he had wandered off to look at ribbons? Calder. He would not be surprised.

He swallowed as the note was crumpled, glancing up at Shehk anxiously. That... was a good thing right? She er... liked it? Or something?

Hands trembling, he moved forward onto Step 2: Compliment a body part.

Right, right. Just be honest. Follow your heart. And all that.

She did deserve more, and he had it scribbled hastily on another fresh notebook sheet, a whine in his throat as he timidly offered it out to her:

Your chest is of a fantastic proportion and showcased beautifully by your sense of dress.

That was polite enough, right? Ghouls liked compliments, the kelpie had said.

Shehk didn't really find it in herself to pick more of a fight with Sarias; it frankly wasn't worth the effort as far as she was concerned, just crossing her arms before looking to Christof, brows lifting just a touch. Was he asking her advice on the matter?

She certainly had none.

Well, she probably could have chimed 'Just stop while you're ahead'...but she held her tongue on the matter. Frankly she could just feel the rejection that would be coming and a little bit of tough love would do that her manners wouldn't allow her to do at that very moment.

Y'know..'cause picking a fight was immature, so saying something while Sarias was there would be...pointless.

Well well well, this boil was certainly full of surprises! If taken aback by his note that now rested in her hand she didn't show it. She looked over at him and then back to the words, and then down to her chest. As if seeing them for the first time her eyes went wide and awe struck. If it wasn't for the fact that the pricolici was only feet away she may have slapped the patchwork round the back of the head....or maybe taken him down an alley way, she wasn't sure just yet. And then she did what one only could do in this moment. She squeezed them together with the muscles of her forearms and bent over.

"Why...they are aren't they?" She exclaimed with mock glee. She lifted her head so her eyes could match those of the boils and pouted at him. "Well when compared with what else is on offer I can see why they are so lovely." If the insult hit home she didn't care to see it land and lifted herself back up to allow her hair to cascade once more over her chest. Then she was struck with the most marvellous idea! One that would be much more fun than shouting, if that was at all possible!

"Yes this dress is beautiful...but" She leaned into him now, her lips eerily close to his sown on ear and whispered softly, letting her cold breath lick his senses. "But I bet it would look even better on your bedroom floor." She uttered, lacing her tone with not so hidden meaning. During this she had laid a hand on him, sharp fingers traced the length of the arm until she pulled back. She stifled a laugh now, giggling almost but still cruel and piercing to the ears. She was having fun at the expense of this seemingly naive and dumb patchwork.

The hunchback in question wobbled, a warbling, faint, but clearly pubescent sounding whine slowly escaping his stitched lips and throat as a hand clenched down on Shehk for support before his knees gave out. His bag of books suddenly clattered to the ground behind him.

Oh.... oh wow! So Calder's insane tips... DID work? Really? Hell's Bells-

Stars in his eyes, he let go of the poor, trapped Undead Were beside him. Yes... yes... she would be PERFECT! Absolutely perfect! And already undead, there wouldn't be too much of a problem if he... oooh and his poor strapped chair, now covered in laundry and discarded Lepus parts... but the young woman already had some stitches, perhaps she was part Patchwork? On her way? Hurm.

She would have her room in the Undead Dorms too, right?

Scribbling frantically now, his handwriting almost illegible, he produced a fresh note:

Christof
Phone: Currently Broken
patchworkigor@groanspring.arg

before thrusting it out to her, mismatched eyes alight, and corners of his stitched mouth twisting upward over the edge of his scarf in an idiot's grin.

He was well on his way to TWO dates now! Clearly, he was mastering this "Romance" thing.

And perhaps Amrita could use some of those fantastic parts... What goes around, comes around, as they say.

Shehk immediately stifled laughter. Not at Christof, but at the entire show being put on, one hand clasped over her mouth to try an hold it all in. This ghoul was a joke! A mighty joke! It was so...so so so so so hilarious. Frankly, the situation had deteriorated to 'putting someone in their place' down to 'OH EM EFF GEE, THIS IS REALLY ENTERTAINING' in a quick fix.

Then again, Shehk was tall enough to see above the other ghoul's chest..not that it was much to look at in her opinion. She was impressed in general.

Shehk pat Christof on the top of the head, shrugging a bit as she did;

"Ei bine, eu sunt off. Uita-te-l cu fata asta." she paused before looking to Sarias and putting on her best most genuine smile she could offer in such an instance; frankly, she wouldn't have even wanted this one's blood.

And Shehk loved blood. She'd brave fire for her foods of choice.

"Hope you two have a lovely time, dearheart."

The missing kelpie had managed to move closer and closer and was now hiding behind a cutout display of a drooling troll ghoul showing off a sequin web-silk dress with funky-colored beetle bead necklaces. The words "Spooktacular Scareware Sale!" in repugnant vomit-yellow written over the top. Calder had been trying to get closer and closer to listen and monitor the igor's progress. So far, he had managed to pass the critical slap or no slap period that came right before handing a compliment. Once that hill was passed, he gleed as the pair continued their conversation and even seemed to be happy in each others' company.

That was till another ghoul came up and then Christof took his compliment from Shehk and handed it to the other ghoul. Calder smacked his forehead right then and there. He should have mentioned that the compliments were peronsalized for each person, but if you were going to use some standard lines, not to use the same on right in front of the person you just used it with. That was outright insulting!

Well, at least he could see Christof get slapped.

Taking his pieces of notebook paper he still had, he funneled it and leaned in, trying to listen. It was too bad the corset-strutting ghoul was whispering, nearly making Calder topple over from leaning in too much to hear what she was saying. Whatever it was, Christof was practically MELTING! Oh-ho! And they were still talking!!

"You little ghoul-hound, you." Calder whispered to himself, snickering to himself as he watched. "Boil, to have your charm. I don't know where the hell you found it, but boils would kill for it."

Sarias took the note and then quickly brought out her top of the range skellyphone and tapped it into her memory. A religious ghoul of the coven she may be but she couldn't deny herself expensive technology when it was begging to be bought. Her eyes glanced up at the ghoul for a moment and could see her eyes dancing with mirth, oh if only the ghoul knew it was all part of the dance. With a further flick she snapped her phone shut again replacing it down her cleavage where it would remain safe.

Turning a spiteful look towards Shehk she patted a hand over her chest in sympathy "Rejected huh?" She mocked "Ouch, that must have stung! and from this lovely...specimen as well." She nodded towards the patchwork, eyes slitted and ruthless in her spiteful tone. Taking a hand she balled it up & brought it close to her face, performing a mock rendition of crying, her mouth turned into a downwards pout "Now don't you go off and cry about it! I'll spare you the sloppy seconds when am done with him, you look in dire need for it." What 'it' was could have been debatable but she dismissed the ghoul with a swift hand flick as if she were a waiter serving on them. With a gentle stroke she touched Christof's arm again, lingering for a moment too long as she smiled.

"But sadly i do have things to be getting on with. I don't have time to lower my IQ standing around with the likes of you. " She leaned into him again now. "and I promise to 'add' you later when we can talk more -" She sneered slightly, her eyes flicking back to the ghoul and then to Christof again -"When we are in the presence of a more desirable audience."

She let go of him now and pushed through the pair of them as if they were nothing but air, her hips once more falling back into the hypnotic swaying. With a hand lifted about shoulder height she gave a backwards wave. "Oh and tell your friend his pick-up lines are jacking s**t!" She disappeared into a shop then, the others forgotten as she had a task to complete. If after a while the others were still listening, there would be the sound of screaming, smashed merchandise and shrieks of begging to accompany the background chatter of the maul. Sadly for the employees of that shop it all fell on deaf ears.

The hunchback wasn't quite sure he understood what the banshee was talking about, eyes flickering to Shehk, practically begging her not to leave as he was fondled and whispered and groped. Not... that being fondled and whispered to and groped was a bad thing, but she was confusing him all the same. Who had rejected who? What? He remembered to breath again as Sarais whisked away, promptly flinching at the sounds of screams and crashes just out of view.

Before Shehk could run off, he quickly wrote out:

Cred că fata este o nebunie. Dar ea are părţi bune, aş dori.

Offering it to her before she went with a still baffled expression.
