"Better to offer a compromise than to simply request, the same is true of anything. Quid Pro Quo... the other side need not know how much or how little you value what you offer, or how much you value what you want from them... basic principal really."
He paused glancing over Schee. "Though to be frank, I'd add as much honesty as you can...you're an abysmal liar."
It was a 'tease' more or less.

"I..think I will! Thank you Zink! I'd like that a lot better...it's still really useful right? And I could help the new people ease in, like I am with Fluo now! I just...am not comfortable with the b-blood. First that big battle in Elysion and now this..."
Scheelite brought his hand back, using both of them to rub nervously at his arms.

"No... actually I would say you're worse..." He smirked and folded his arms.
"Though to be perfectly open about it -again" he waved a hand "I think it would aid you in a way, if you want to recruit. You can be open, friendly... excessively CUDDLY." He tossed a hand and made a face behind his mask but didn't press it.
"Reassuring to someone who's just been taken into the fold I'm sure."

"Cuddly is clearly the way to go Zee-man. Yelling at people when they enter doesn't work..sure didn't make -me- feel welcome. Then you and I fought when you joined, that didn't feel very welcoming did it? But being friendly, and cuddly if they like that..." Perhaps even if they didn't was the unspoken part of that. "Well, it's gotta count for something, right?"
At least you could bribe Scheelite like you could a dog.

He paused and folded his arms. "There is nothing welcoming about the... initiation either, that rather hurts. I felt welcome enough on Linarite's team though...what you probably want to think about as well is seeing if you can tell who would work well with Whom too, and who should remain 'floaters'."

"Ouch Zee-man, ouch! I like to think I can pull off an argument. I think you just know me too well!" He was mocking being hurt, but with that goofy grin it was obvious he was just joking around too.
"...Yeah no, the initiation kind of sucks. Linarite loves you...that was the perfect team for you. Kinda glad you came in when we were heading towards teams, cause we didn't when I came in. I guess I'll want to get to know everyone pretty good right? So I can make that sort of call?"
After all, people were being promoted all the time. If he knew who everyone was and knew them well it'd be easier to make the call on who would work well with who.

Zinkenite stayed quiet for a long moment. 'perfect team for -him-' implied it wasn't so for Scheelite and he wasn't going to weigh in on that.
"It was surprising how well that team worked given the circumstances under which it was formed.' he replied, non committal, meaning that they had more or less been assembled just to report to someone to whip them into shape...or that was how he saw it.
"I think you'll have to figure out how best to work out the recruitment on your own, I think if it's right for you it will work out with hard work, but that you'll be satisfied with that work." He shrugged. "You don't necessarily have to point them towards teams you can count on other's to do that as well."

Because really, how did you make a team more perfect than Enterprise? In Schee's mind it had been the best team ever, only rivaled by his current team because he had his own people to train and got to report to Zink. This was awesome, in his opinion.
"But you're right! Other people can help too, I just want to try and learn as much as I can."
Which was good, because it meant he was willing to put in the work, which would keep him busy and not able to sit around the Dark Kingdom moping all day.
