Captain Painite was grinning, but Sailor Chibi Hypnos wasn't. It wasn't so much about being hit that bothered her, not as much as being told they can't be friends because she was a senshi hurt her. It hadn't ever gotten in her way before, why was it now? She didn't believe it should be something that stands in the way like that! She took a step back, far enough that Captain Painite couldn't threaten to chase her away with the long stick anymore. She faced Captain Painite, perhaps foolishly, dear eyes and a smile on her face as her hands overlapped the other over her chest.
"Can't. I don't believe in that word. Whatever I wear on the outside, it doesn't control who I am on the inside. We can, there's nothing stopping us," she shook her head, glad she had spent so many days studying literature. "I didn't mean to make you feel like to was trying to make you but I will try again. I don't believe in abandoning the seeds of friendship before they even have a chance."
She took another step back, lowered herself below the Captain in another curtsey and smile.
"You look pretty when you smile, Painite. My name is Hypnos, please don't forget me, goodbye."
Then she turned her heels and ran away with her bunny in tow. Would she go home? Could she go home? She had so much to think about now.
