Ayamechan
....was "Into The Woods" the one with the anatomically correct wolf?

If not what was that? My drama class in sixth grade watched something with an anatomically correct wolf, and the teacher had to keep telling people to stop laughing. ._.;

Yes, it is. Because my school did that musical last year and there was a big debate as to wether to do the broadway version or the PC/Elementray version...

My choir is singing The Lion King Medley, the song that was sung at The Lion King broadway musical. We're doing a bunch of funky dances too...

Let's see, in my Freshman year I think it was the choir sang a Little Mermaid Medley with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. That year I think we did Cinderella, which I didn't even make chorus on and I was terribly sad. The last year was Hello, Dolly! which I didn't want to be inand didn't try out for. The this year we say a Lion King medley with CSO again and put on Seussical which was alright but not for me, not to mention I was already commited to doing The Laramie Project at the time (which sadly fell through because so many people couldn't make it.) Yeah, so as you can see we really haven't done any really good shows I think.

This year when we went to New York we saw three shows and out of them I think the only ones I really enjoyed were Phantom and All Shook Up. Brooklyn was not on my list, mainly because during the whole thing I was annoyed and tired and one of the girls just...ow. My head felt like it was cleeding after that. Of course I really wanted to see Spamalot and Wicked, so I to make up for at least one of them I bought the Wicked book.

The most fun Ive ever had was being in Les Miserables and Little Shop of Horrors. Good times, kids, good times.

Freshman year, my school did 'Guys & Dolls,' and this year, sophomore year, we did 'Oliver!' I didn't have a big part in either of them, but they were fun. My all-time favorite musical is The Phantom of the Opera, which I've seen once, and I am going to see again this summer.

I hate the movie. xd

I also really enjoy Phantom, though Wicked is still my favorite...

Hm, where's Eldelli when we need her... My old high school (where she is still going because she's a year younger than me) is doing Suessical this fall. Eldelli is The Cat in the Hat. I don't know much about it, but it sounds really fun. I'm still trying to figure out how to get back from college to see one of the performances. Hey KB, any luck saving money for Hans and I's plane tickets? sweatdrop

Let's see...
I played as the pit (yes, the whole pit. I play piano) for Guys and Dolls, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Cinderella. I liked them all.

Then I've seen Wicked, The Lion King, Rent, My Fair Lady, Cats, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables and Mamma Mia. I liked them all (although Mamma Mia was interesting...I like ABBA but they're not my favorite group).

And Phantom of the Opera is coming to Columbus so I get to go see that! Woot-ness!

Oh...and I've seen Blast three times...but they're not really a musical. More like a marching band on stage.

And then I have the soundtracks to all of those plus 42nd Street, A Chorus Line, A Class Act, Aida, Avenue Q, The Baker's Wife (not my fav...), Beauty and the Beast, Carousel, Chicago, Evita, Falsettoland, Fiddler on the Roof, Finian's Rainbow, Footloose, Forbidden Broadway (but only one song crying ), Grease, Gypsy (gotta love Ethel Merman), Hair, Hairspray, I Love You You're Perfect Now Change (very funny...I recommend for a good laugh...adult themes though), Is There A Life After High School (again, not a fav...), Kiss Me Kate, Little Shop of Horrors, The Music Man, Newsies (though it isn't a musical), Oklahoma!, Oliver, Puttin' On the Ritz, Ragtime (not my fav again...), Rocky Horror Picture Show, Show Boat, Smokey Joe's Cafe (very interesting... ninja ), Seussical, The Producers, The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Urintown the Musical (okay...not my fav...), Violet, West Side Story, and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown.
*Breathes* Yeah...I'm a musical freak...O.o

crying
The Lion King is coming to a city about an hour away from me in September, but by then I'll be on the east coast. And, Wicked is coming to another city that is also close to me sometime this fall, but, again, moving to the east coast.

I leave and they suddenly start playing musicals that I REALLY want to see!
