"My department's 'tech guy' is very thorough. One three three seven has most likely already emailed you the details for your next assignment." There were so many other things she could have said in regards to the computer hacker, but now was not the time for complaints or insults.

With the question now answered, she stood up and proceeded towards the door to her office. Effortlessly, she opened it up before standing in front of the door itself.

"You are dismissed!" The way she said these words almost sounded like a warning.

One three three seven? Was that a name or an ID number? He wasn't really sure, but Asch didn't dwell on it. Instead he made a mental note to check his email at the earliest convenience.

When Kunai rose from her chair, the red head did as well, turning around just in time for the door to be opened while he was dismissed.

The tone of voice didn't seem to faze him. If anything, he briefly wondered at the reason she opened the door for him.

Without another word, Asch passed his superior by, but not without a parting dip of his head in due respect.

He passed her. There was nothing too special about that. The way she stood at the door almost mimicked the manner in which a teacher might stand at the door while waiting for the students to file out of the classroom. It was a manner of maintaining authority.

She did not close her door the moment he passed. She waited for him to get maybe 5 or 10 paces away before closing her office to the world. Folding her arms behind her back, she made her way back to her desk, sat down, and resumed her work at the keyboard once more.

Kunai was not the sort to speak aloud to herself. One reason was simply because you never knew who was listening, and two because it could be read as a form of insecurity. However, on her mental checklist, she knew she needed to finish up the work with Agent Asch's paperwork, and then her next task to tend to was training.

Business as usual, that was all.
