Oh. That sounded good! Amrita contemplated putting away her half-sized Cello after making it make pretty noises like she had in Music class, however since Lizzy was still playing...she kept playing too. Half-heartedly though, and thus far no major squeaks.
"Oh." So the last time anyone saw him was the portal. What was left of her brow knit in worry, pausing her music for a bit at the question to point back at the pet carrier that was obviously well-loved by DC.
"I have to thank him for that, and to say I'm sorry to him." She explained, only not really.

Her eyes immediately went to where Amrita was pointing at as she idly plucked at the strings of the harp; it still wasn't making any desirable sounds, unfortunately. Thankfully, at least it doesn't make ear-splitting noises when played wrongly!
"Ah," She simply replied as her attention went from the pet carrier to Amrita again, an eye brow raised, "What do you have to apologize for...?" Did something happen between them? That might explain why she was so worried the other day though...

Amrita, with this new distraction, had stopped playing her cello all together. She still held it, her arm still held the bow ready, she just didn't draw it across the strings. When the next question came, Amrita was honestly surprised by it, when she shouldn't have been. Why was Lizzy asking, wasn't it obvious?
"Um...He hit me because I said some mean things to him when he wasn't happy...but I know why he wasn't happy and he made that for me to say sorry for hitting me so I have to apologize for being mean!" She prattled off, thankfully not needing to breathe. The little Vetala seemed resolved to apologize and that it was entirely her fault. The 'that' of course was the pet carrier.
"But...I don't want to bother him." She pouted softly with that was left of her lips.

She plucked at the strings of the harp absentmindedly, her attention on Amrita. However, she stopped immediately at the ghoul's explanation; might as well, since she figured that it was enough practice for now, but more importantly...
"He what? When did it happen?" It was hard to tell if she was surprised, upset or angry; it seemed like all three of those emotions at once - surprised that Christof would hit someone who obviously cared about him, upset that Amrita didn't tell her and angry because Christof had hit a good friend of hers. Putting down the harp so that it was lying on the bed, she shuffled over to Amrita, putting her arms around the ghoul and held her close.
Well, as close as she could manage while the ghoul was still holding the cello.
"I don't know what happened, but... I can't see what sort of 'mean' things you could have said to him to make him want to hit you," She inhaled sharply, her grip tightening for a moment before she relaxed again, raising a hand to gently pat Amrita on her head, "He made that to apologize to you - he knows he's in the wrong for hitting you at least..."
She then paused; while she was angry at Christof, she was also rather upset about the fact that she didn't know about this... She didn't realize that something like this had happened. Ugh.

Amrita was starting to suspect that she had done or said something wrong.
"Um...Uh...Maybe...a couple months ago? Be...before the, um, trip...a-and after Scarentines...?" The Vetala was clearly starting to fret, mostly because of the way Lizzy had stopped playing the harp so suddenly; the tone surprised her, but she was usually terrible with reading tones anyway. She wasn't sure what to do with the hug, but she didn't mind Lizzy hugs so she managed to get the Cello mostly out of the way, and tried to hug back. Key word: tried.
"U-uhm. I was mean, though." Amrita said timidly, prying her way out of the hug for a moment to go search for something on her desk. After what seemed like ages later, she returned with a piece of paper, holding it up to Lizzy.
"W-was with the carrier..." She explained, her voice starting to border on depressed.

"That long ago?" She frowned, sounding a little disappointed now, although the disappointment was directed at herself rather than Amrita. While it was true that she was upset at the fact that Amrita did not tell her about this incident until now, this was slowly translating into 'Why didn't I realize that anything was wrong?'
And that made her feel terrible.
Taking the piece of paper, she read it mentally, her frown deepening as she looked back up at Amrita, "You... Insulted his master?" Was that like... The Igor equivalent of insulting one's parents? Well, she would get pretty upset if someone insulted her mother (no 'your mother' jokes here please) but... Enough to hit a friend? A friend who obviously cared?
"He needs more self control than that... You don't use physical violence every time you get frustrated or upset, but I guess he knows that now, judging from this," She didn't know what else to say; the incident had happened a while ago, and judging from the note, Christof was sorry about hitting Amrita, and he seemed to have been going through... Things? She sighed, climbing off the bed to wrap Amrita in a hug.
"Maybe insulting his master was the wrong way to go about doing things," She patted the back of her head while holding her, "But I'm sure you did it because you thought it was the right thing to do at the time." Whatever it was she was trying to do at the time to make Amrita of all people want to insult anyone, anyway... That's not that important right now.
"But insulting anyone is bad, and this... Master person is obviously an important person to Christof," She released Amrita from the hug and lowered herself to her eye level, offering the Vetala a small smile, "So... Go say sorry if you have to, yes? Just... If anything like this happens again, don't keep it from me."
Because it hurt that Amrita would keep something like this from her. Its not like she would set up to tear Christof apart or anything... Probably. Physical violence being bad and all that.
