Kuchiki Ayame Division 9 Captain
Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights. Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming; The goddess of imaginary light. straightened herself ujp and sighed,
"Sorry I'm late. I had alot of paperwork to do," the silver haired Kuchiki explained hurrying into the meeting hall. Ayame looked a tad rushed, her hair was in a messy pony tail and her haori was a bit wrinkled. She quickly took her place and waited to hear what the meeting was about.

The Commander's lips spread to speak, and spoke these words, "Yes. One side will strike first, at a point in time. What I'm trying to do is prevent, or maybe even stop that by acting with caution, not brute force. For us to strike first, it would only relay the message that Soul Society's superior forces haven't changed; it'll give the Arrancar a reason to retaliate." But that was when the Sixth Division Captain hurried into the room, bowing towards all others before proceeding with his opinion on the matter. At this, Takashi would listen; Koga was a wise and understanding young man, for his mind was not filled with the notion that the first strike is inevitably the best. "Thank you, Captain Tensei. Your words of wisdom are appreciated, as is everyone else." From there, Takashi witnessed two other arrivals, however, this couldn't have been everybody. Where were the other Captains...? ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ✘ O.O.C. --- ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Sekai no Ki▆▅▃▂ Daichi listened to the Captain Commander silently. This squad would propbably involve one of his people if not him personally considering his Division knew the most about Hueco Mundo and the layout of the Hollow World. He had to nodd when Kiyoshi spoke, because he had a point. Tensions were growing, and whether or not it became a full out war depended on who struck first... and how hard they did it.
"I always have my hands full Kiyoshi, and while the word trust isn't what I would use, I would ask you to control yourself just long enough until we have something to point you at."
The 8th Division Captain couldn't help but chuckle softly. He knew the fire that burned in the 2nd Division Captain was a strong one, and in truth it was a powerful if not dangerous weapon, so long as it was controlled properly. Daichi nodded easily to the 6th Division, 5th Division, and 9th Division Captains as they entered the room accordingly.
"My point exactly, Koga."
When Captain Suiiki spoke he took the information into account, but said nothing, because no matter what he did had no real effect on his squad, so he had no business discussing the matter one way or the other, though it was always nice to have more healers for his people.
"It doesn't matter who strikes first. It matters on how well prepared we are when that strike is made, regardless if it's the Shinigami or the Hollows who make it. I support the Captain Commander's decision for a recon team. At best we will discover their goings on, and some weaknesses we can strike at if it comes to blows. At worst, we will learn they aren't planning anything, and those Arrancar in the human world were of no major significance."
Daichi spoke easily, using logic to try and make his peers come to some kind of consensus. ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Come forth into the light of things, let nature be your teacher. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

HayateHikari Division 11 Taicho "Don't assume that just because I'm nice..." Hayate was pleased that someone had taken his side in the debate on what to do with the Hollows. It just seemed like the logical thing to do. After all, if you knew a bully was going to come break your toys, you'd want to break his before he broke yours. Then again, there was a chance of backfiring and making the bully angrier. But one wouldn't know unless they tried, right? After he gave his opinion, he kept silent to listen to the rest of the Captain give their two cents on the issue. Takashi seemed to favor a recon team going in and scouting the Human World out. It wasn't a bad idea. But if the idea came to pass, he knew that he wouldn't want to take part in it. He enjoyed being loud and being known, not sneaking around and avoiding the enemy.
As three more captains entered the meeting room-one of which being Koga, who he recognized immediately from Sokyoku Hill, and another being Kuchiki, whom he also met at Sokyoku Hill-he gave them a nod and listened to them. Koga seemed to be against a first strike tactic like Takashi did, which Hayate understood. He may not have agreed because of how reckless he was, but he at least understood.
"As much as I disagree with sneaking around, I support the idea of a recon team as well. No use in causing chaos where there isn't any to begin with. Daichi's right; we could find that this is just some random occurance and we became nervous over nothing. Better to know than to spark a war." Hayate chimed in. He was the type of person to make sure he was heard in a conversation, so he almost felt obligated to speak.
Both sides seemed to be making a good points in an increasingly heated debate, while the 5th squad captain's comment seemed to go by rather unnoticed. Hayate leaned onto the table curiously, much as a child would to tell the person across a secret, though he wasn't whispering. He was simply fidgeting around. He didn't quite like being in one place too long. It made him feel restless and, as interesting as it was to hear the captains argue, he was beginning to get a bit bored. If there was the potential for war looming over their heads, it was not a time for conversing. It was a time for action!
"Hey, if you don't mind me asking, why the sudden change?" He asked the 5th squad captain. "...that I'll keep giving you second chances." Zanpakuto _________________________________________ Yabun Akisunerai ; "Night Prowler"

Oroshi looks up opening his eyes and looking at the captain addressing him. A look of curiosity crosses his face when he sees the captain is almost leaning across the table before them in order to speak but, he doesn't falter as he begins to recount his thought process to the captain. "While it's true that the thirteen guard squads rely on brute force and strength to win most of conflicts, there is a far more tactical approach to having a balancing point within the squads." He pauses here and puts his finger to his lips then opens them again, he then elaborates on his idea, "I just have been thinking that, although the squads should know martial fighting I find that some situations are better solved with reasoning and tact." He comments and then nods, "Plus in the case of all out war squad four won't have enough men to cover then entire squads. It's impossible to ask them to heal every soul in soul society. If we take on a portion of their work then that will free them up to deal with the more life threatening cases." The captain has clearly been thinking of making this change for a while and simply used the war as an excuse to execute his plan. "That's my reasoning Captain, Hayate, of squad eleven. As a man of action I see a way of making my time more useful." With these comments he looks at the other captain and simply says one final thing. "Thank you for the interest though."

Shizuka knew he was late but for once he had a good reason. "Why now? I just started getting into a proper Captain's rhythm and then POOF!" As he rounded the final corner he slowed his pace down to a light stroll. He had spent a long time designing his attire when he became Captain years ago. Shizuka was all about a great entrance. "I cry your pardons everyone. I was held up by an unavoidable circumstance." Shizuka walked over to his spot and stood by waiting to hear more accounts than the ones already spoken. He of course, had the room lined into an earpiece so he missed nothing. He took his divisions job very seriously.

Tesai was running late "Great way to start my new job." He thought to himself as he increased his speed to a flash step towards the hall. He landed lightly finally down the hall from the doors to the meeting hall. He placed a hand on the solid doors and took a deep breath. He pushed it open and stepped into the hall to see the Captains already gathered. He began to walk to his position "My deepest apologies everyone. I did not get the message as I was out when the messenger came." He slipped into his spot and took up silence after explaning why he was late.

Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights. Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming; The goddess of imaginary light. straightened herself ujp and sighed,
"As much as your ideas sound good, what about the world of the living? If we aren't careful, it will be a reapeat of hundredds of years ago with Aizen. Not only that, but I noticed a few humans that were spiritually aware and had pretty strong reishi. What if they side with the arrancar?" Ayame asked as she listened to everyones ideas.

Sekai no Ki▆▅▃▂ Daichi chuckled softly to himself as two of the newest Captains of the Gotei 13 arrived, one who's entrance was all grandeur, while the other's was full of apology. After a while of listening, Daichi spoke up again, answering a few questions, namely Captain Kuchiki's.
"That's why we plan to take such precaution and try and scout of Hueco Mundo before any action is taken, and if it turns out there is fighting, most all of it will probably be taking place there. It would be wise to avoid the involvement of other spiritual races as much as possible, especially the Advents and even more then that... the Vizards. I have no reports of any interaction between them and the Hollow, but with the amount of power they have I would want to keep them at arms length of each-other as much as possible... If alliances are made, we'll just have to do our best to make sure to spare any of those humans who might side with the Arrancar."
When Daichi had finally gone silent he was deep in thought. He had already taken much of what Captain Kuchiki was saying into account, but there was still much concern. Daichi may have looked young, but he had been doing this for just about as long as the Captain Commander, having been a Captain for almost four hundred years now. He had worry lines, that while rare, would rear their heads when he was deep in thought, from centuries of making sure humanity was truly safe from threat.

"So reconnaissance to see what the Arrancars are up to after what happened in the Human World has the majority of the votes." The prospect was not that unappealing since it meant some actual work for him and his men to some degree. If luck was on Seireitei's side, the events would have no significance and all parties will have to keep this cold war going. "I second bringing things to Hueco Mundo if there is a fight. Things over there are deserted enough that we may afford causing a mess." Extra human deaths meant more work for shinigamis, but the thought of the Advents siding with the Arrancars brough a snicker to Kiyoshi. He will only start to worry about them once they organize themselves properly.

HayateHikari Division 11 Taicho "Don't assume that just because I'm nice..." Hayate had to keep himself from chuckling. Reason and tact; it was a very worn out argument to explain a change such as this. He reserved his tact for talking to people, not for changing his squad. As thoughtful as it was for Oroshi to lighten the load for the fourth squad, he didn't exactly deem it necessary. If you have a responsibility, make sure it is met before you worry about someone else's responsibilities, He thought with a slight frown. But his thoughts were his own, so rather than debate with the man, he simply filed it away. Maybe he'd be able to share it with someone else that asks about it.
Two more Captains entered the meeting room as Hayate sat back down his chair, slouching a bit. Even the cloth cat ears on his hood seemed to droop, indicating his lack of patience. His fingers and toes twitched and itched for action. Not even for the war; to do anything! He wanted to move so badly that it hurt. It was no wonder he always disliked it when Takashi called meetings. They took too long. The captain's easy going personality clashed with the professionalism in the room, and it was making Hayate look rather childish at the moment.
"Not to sound paranoid, but what if they DO end up forming some sort of alliance with the humans or the vizards? We can't protect humans if they're fighting us, can we? And the vizards...would be disastrous, no? Do we have some kind of back up plan if everything goes sour?" "...that I'll keep giving you second chances." ~NPC~ There was a loud screeching sound that came from outside the White Castle followed by the sounds of clashing zanpakuto as well as dying wails of shinigami officers. Whatever it was, it was making quick amends of these lower ranking shinigami and it was approaching the White Castle fast. Suddenly there was another explosion, however this one came from within the White Castle. The entire left wall of the castle had been blown inward by the force of the shockwave, causing mounds of smoke and debris to come rushing forth. The atmosphere of the castle became blurred withof debris and dirt, making it difficult for anyone to visually make out what was going on. Of course these shinigami captains weren't without their spiritual senses. Time would go by, allowing any disoriented shinigami inside to gain their composure. The smoke would slowly lift, and inside a figure would slowly unravel. It's bone like teeth grinned widely on the face of the bone plated mask it donned. It was no doubt a Husk. Without a doubt, these shinigami would automatically recognize it on sight. Husks were vizards whom had lost control to their inner hollows. Ash and smoke seeped from in between the creature's teeth as it squealed a shrill gurgling sound. "We will take vengeance upon the Shinigami!!" Was what it sounded like it said as it screamed. With that the creature dug it's feet into the ground before raising up a cero charged finger towards the group of captains. As the cero charged, the room grew heavy with reaitsu. Not just it's own reiatsu, but the reiatsu of six other Husks that had entered the room. Each of them clung from opposite ends of the wall from where the first Husk had stood, whom was standing in the central area of the White Castle. "Arrragghhttt". With one last cry, the Husk in the center of the room released the cero blast. The blast itself was strong enough to critically injure each and every one of the captains in the area, including the Sotaicho. In the midst of the blast, the other six Husks would begin flash stepping from from the walls onto random areas of the White Castle, aiming to strike the rest of the shinigami captains from random directions.

╔══════════════╗
As the Husks entered the White Castle, there was a figure standing behind them. The man's crimson eyes shined like blood ruby gems from the shadows that shrouded him. His skin was that of a smooth caramel tone and his hair was sleeked in jet black spikes that went backwards with two long drooping bangs that swayed from side to side over his face. He had grown somewhat older in the last years that had passed by. It was no other than Kazei Hitari, one of the Overseers of the of the Mask Army as well as the former 6th Division Captain who was most infamous for betraying Soul Society 200 years ago. "Hmm..Soul Society will never change. So strong, yet sometimes so fragile. The Husks haven't been here five minutes and they're already getting the best of them." He spoke calmly as the Husks wrecked havoc within the White Castle. These creatures were more than enough to take on captain class shinigami. Some of these Husks themselves were captain class vizards before losing control to their inner hollows. As a result, there were captain class Husks among these invaders. However this was not the only thing that attributed to their strength. Unlike Vizards who temporarily lost control to their inner hollows, these beings had lost permanent control. Meaning that their inner hollow had gained total and complete access to their all of their former shinigami powers as well as their current hollow powers, making them great beings of destruction. There were approximately four captain class Husks among this small army of vizard invaders. Had ten of them been brought here, it would be just about enough to destroy Soul Society. "Soul Society has grown even weaker over the last two centuries. How disappointing. To think that I had once called this place home." The spiritual pressure that leaked from this man was as to be expected, and well above average captain material. This was to no surprise. It was not only because it was not only due to the fact of his position as Overseer over the Mask Army, but due to the fact that had once been a division captain once 200 years ago well before the time of these current captains whom had just recently risen to these positions in the last recent years. Stepping forward into the room, the light parted around his form. He took a small glance at each captain standing in the room, starting from the division captains to their commander. "Not to shabby." He nodded somewhat curiously after a peek at their spiritual pressures. Not that he was basing their full capability on it. The truth was that he was only comparing what reiatsu let off compared to his knowledge on these Husks. "Seems like you might be in for quite the ride." He chuckled before pocketing his hands.

Before he could attempt to devise a solution to the questions, a nearby wall would be demolished by an unknown force, only to be revealed as a Hurk. Takashi's emerald orbs were quite shocked at this sight; he thought the things had long since died out. But seeing one live and in action, he was actually impressed at their survival. "Seems like we'll have to meet up somewhere else, since these things are destroying the room." said Takashi, his body disappearing swiftly. He reappeared behind the Hurk that first entered, his blade unsheathed and aiming diagonally for it's throat in a clean arc.

Amidst the storm of debris and smoke, he sensed what he could only identify as a Vizard gone bad. "Speak of the devil." He had only had the opportunity of dealing with a Husk once before back when he had only been a seated officer, but the ones that had barged into the White Castle were clearly on a different level and that prompted him to release his Bankai, turning his wakizashi into a small scythe that he could still handle easily single-handedly. With a quick flash-step, Kiyoshi had avoided the Cero, but the sheer pressure behind it was sending debris all over the place. The Head Commander had already made a move, but he had appeared behind the husk unfortunately.
Another man had appeared which meant more trouble, but Kiyoshi opted to deal with the Husks first and didn't even bother to look back to assess his comrades' state. Instead, he sent what was left of the conference table flying towards the main Husk with a nudge of his feet before pointing his scythe at it while making sure that his hand covered the other sharp end of his weapon. A sphere of dark red light appeared a few feet before the flying piece of wood before exploding in the Husk face. "Screw stealth. Hado # 54, Haien." However, instead sending out a a blast of purple kido, Kiyoshi took hold of the farthest ring attached to his scythe's blade and ripped it off. The small thing was only an inch in diameter and he tossed it at the monster's feet.
