The scientist's eyes seemed to light up when Faleen re-confirmed her thoughts that the pokemon was wild. That meant no one owned it. That meant it could be captured. Nyx reached a hand backward, towards Faleen. "Grab a ball out of my bag. An empty one." She had put her bag, with her pokeballs, on one of the lab tables near by. It was strange not having them at her waist, but her outfit had deemed it necessary.
"Ktch-?" The bug looked between the two humans, unsure what was going on... but no one seemed to be yelling or attacking or running.

Well, Faleen knew what that meant, Nyx was going to try and capture it.
As she had been asked, the robotics engineer took a few steps back, turning to hurry over to the other Agent's bag, digging around for any sign of a pokeball.
She found one soon enough though, making sure it was an empty one.
"Heads up Nyx" she said, tossing the pokeball to the scientist.

"Oop!" Nyx turned her head just in time for the pokeball to bounce off of her arm and clatter to the floor. She looked back to check on the pokemon and found that it was gone. "Huh?"
It didn't take much searching to find where the Spinarak had gone, however. In the time that Nyx had turned her head and dropped her pokeball, the little spider scurried off of the shelf and down to the ball. "Ktch-Ssssssss."
That certainly did seem to be the source of that mysterious pre-explosion sound... The Spinarak stared up at Nyx with its big buggy eyes from behind the pokeball.

"Oh!" well that was a nice throw Faleen "Sorry Nyx"
taking another ball out, just in case. she moved back over to where the Agent was.
Once next to her, she followed the white haired women's gaze down to where the spider pokemon was perched by the fallen pokeball.
"Huh..." she hummed in surprise "You don't usually see pokemon who will eagerly go toward a pokeball."
This time Faleen held up the second pokeball for Nyx to take, in case she needed it.

"I'm going to... try something..." Nyx nodded at Faleen; The other agent would, probably, be able to help her if something went horribly wrong and the arachnid was actually tricking her and luring her into a false sense of security.
She knelt down, very slowly, and carefully reached out her hand towards the pokeball.
The Spinarak took a few steps back. "Ssssss..."
Nyx quickly picked up the pokeball and stood up.
"Sss.. Ktchu-" It took a tentative step forward. Would this really be the day? It certainly wasn't how she imagined it.. The fluffy haired human smiled at the small spider pokemon and dropped the ball.
And it was sucked inside.
"Faleen!"

That was the easiest capture that Faleen had ever witnessed, having watched, very quietly as to not alarm the pokemon.
When it was sucked into the ball though, Faleen's eyebrows arched.
Glancing once at Nyx before watching to see if the Pokemon remained in the ball for capture.
"It certainly seemed like it watched to be captured. didn't it"

Nyx picked up the pokeball, which had stopped shaking rather quickly, and turned to grin at Faleen. "Faleen! It's a poison type!" She certainly seemed pleased with herself and her new capture. Nyx pointed the ball the closest lab table and pressed the release button; The Spinarak appeared again after a brief flash of white light.
"Ssssss!" It bobbed up and down and wiggled its various legs. The pokemon also felt pleased. Never again would it stare longingly at humans who would only run at the sight of it, now it had a trainer. Oh how the Spinarak had dreamed of this day.

"Good capture Nyx" Faleen congratulation the scientist, stepping over closer once it had been clear the pokemon was not going to escape from the ball.
Unable to keep a smile from her face at the other rocket's excitement, "I take it you like poison types than?"
She asked, watching as the happy little hissing bug was released onto the table.
It certainly didn't look like it was ready to bite any of them.

"Yes. They're very interesting." That was her way of saying they were her favorite type. "Alright. We should get back to work... I'm putting this on the clipboard, though." Nyx chuckled and wrote 'wild pokemon loose in lab'.
The Spinarak scurried off of the table and started to climb up Faleen's pants leg. Having a master was great, but she also wanted this other human to like her too. "Ktch-uuu~"

Arms folded across her chest, with her hands cupping her elbows, she lifted a corner of her mouth with a soft shrug. "I've noticed a few different pokemon scurry around here, seems to be a growing problem"
She was so glad that HQ didn't have to deal with that, having wild Ratata running around would not go over well with Faleen.
Having been paying attention to Nyx, She didn't see the spider pokemon move from the table. only alerted by its presence when she felt a tugging at her leg.
Faleen looked down sharply, eyes widening in surprise at the Spinarak, Startled that it was suddenly touching her!
Mostly just started by its sudden appearance so close to her, she actually jerked back a little, but managed to fight the impulse to kick it off.
"Oh my! ... goodness it moves quickly."
Had it been wild, Faleen would have had no problems with kicking it away and causing harm to it... but, it was Nyx's pokemon now, and it didn't seem like it was trying to cause her harm.
Faleen had her favorite types to, and even though that type had a weakness to the one crawling up her leg, Faleen respected Nyx, so she could respect this pokemon.
"I'm not your master you know." She informed the pokemon, reaching down to hold a hand out to it.

The tiny pokemon climbed from Faleen's pants leg to her hand gladly. Not being kicked was a very nice thing to happen. It didn't care that the human wasn't her trainer, she was making friends! "Ktchuu~"
Nyx chuckled and set back to her clip board. There were a number of things still left to do. "I suppose when you build your outpost in an abandoned subway station, there tend to be ways for pokemon to get in."

"Just watch that noise while we're working with explosive materials." She told the pokemon, turning to look over at Nyx as she made her way back over to the cleaning machine she was working on.
Placing Spinarak on the shelf again before bending down and picking up her fallen tools.
"Its causing problems to, the Ratata are chewing at the wiring. if they get the right power source they might cut off energy to something important" She signed again, scratching at her head with the end of her screw driver. "And these webs are a huge fire hazard in places like this"
She sounded a little exasperated now, gesturing with her tool to one of the webs in the corner.

"You said this outpost has a problem with wild pokemon," Nyx moved away from the shelf of chemicals, finally finished looking them over, and continued on investigating the other nooks and crannies of the bare-bones lab. "Have you been here often?"
The spinarak's mandibles twitched questionably when Faleen gestured at her web. What was wrong with her web? It was a very nice web, she'd made sure it was as pretty as she could make it. She'd even caught a few of those toothy rattata in her web. "Ktch-ur..."

"Enough times to be families with it, yes" she answered casually "and its some of its equipment when it needed to be fixed."
She had moved onto another piece of equipment, checking its condition,
There was a soft sympathetic; "oh, poor baby" from Faleen as she carefully looked over the chipped casing.
A look soft frown crossing her lips.
"I assume you have as well? you knew your way down here."

"Ah- Yes. Not many times, though." Nyx walked slowly around the room still taking notes. "The first time I came here... I was still a grunt. It was around the time Miss Nadja came to the base." She made her way back to the shelf and picked up her pokemon. "She sent Agent Panther and I here to transport some new Legendary Pokemon's DNA..." The spinarak crawled up her arm and sat on her shoulder, chittering happily. Nyx chuckled, "That was when I met Will- Lance. He brought us down here, gave us the DNA... it turned out to be a Pidgey. Langley, in fact."
Nyx still wasn't sure what had made her keep the cloned pidgey, but she had, and he turned out to be one of her most reliable pokemon.
