Attor's look became more and more serious Quillian was fighting back instead of just saying ouch and running for it. Which was what most kids did so he had never had to go this far here.

A pillow? Attor raised a brow while moving himself back into a defensive position. Attor let the pillow hit him and tried his best to keep his eyes on Quillian while keeping his fist up.

Attor did not expect the book, he attempted to duck down but it clipped the top of his head. His hissed from the slight pain as the book's edge scraped his head. He phased him only a few seconds before he was up and swing another punch at Quillian's face hoping he would be stuck in the momentum of his book swing. "My patience is Thinning Quillian." Attor hissed in a very crude voice. It was true here he felt like he was able to draw his wand on this boy, unlike at home where the watch was on him and every other young wizard or witch. If Quillian didn't stop soon this could get much worse.

The punch Attor sent at Quillan did hit his face, and he stumbled back a bit. "Che..." Quillan clicked his tongue, his hand instinctively going up to where Attor had hit him. Thankfully, it didn't hurt that much after the initial recoil."This is your patience being thin!?" He retorted, aghast. The boy must go off like a bomb then--Excellent!

With that in mind, he was even more tempted to push Attor's buttons. Normally, he wouldn't allow a fight to go on that long--but Attor's attitude just made him want to knock him down several pegs. Ignoring the other two Slytherin's around him, Quillan decided to do something he saw in a movie. Using his shoulder as a sort of battering ram, he made a lunge towards Attor's torso. If that all worked out well, he would slip his leg behind Attor's, and then use the rest of the momentum to trip him, sending both of them to the ground, Quillan on top.

And man, if this all worked... Attor was getting socked in the face AT LEAST once.

Attor again didn't reply to what Quillian said he only seemed focus on trying to get into position to punch him again. One thing Attor did believe in was the more traditional boxing style. He was taught that it was the nobleman's way of fighting other then a wand duel.

This was not a move Attor wasn't exspecting and Quillian rammed him hard in the torso. Attor gasped as the air was knocked out of him a bit. Though instead of falling Attor chose to move with the ram.He was not about to let Quillian get him pinned. Once they passed by the couch and had more room Attor tired to swing to the side to get away from Quillian's ram. This time he didn't try to swing at Quillian again though. He glared at him, feeling very pissed that this boy was still fighting him, not only that but the boy fought like a drunk bad patron. His moves were not of the boxing style at all and this made Attor even less patient with him.

Attor reached into his pocket he had, had enough. This boy had given him a head ache and all. From the holder his father's company had given him he pulled out his wand and aimed it at Quillian. He seemed to start to growl out something, but little had either have them noticed Professor Inoue had entered the head room to make an announcement of some sort.

Professor Inoue flew cross the room and grabbed Attor's wand hand. "Just what is going on here?" She yelled and glared at Attor. She had a suspicion as to what the spell he was about to attempt was. "First off why are you fighting? Second Attor don't ever draw your wand on a student unless its an official duel, which as first years your no where near!" She took Attor's wand away and moved it to her pocket before grabbing Quillian and dragged them both out of the Common room. Both would be doing some sort of horrid chores and Attor would be getting an extra talking to that was for sure!

Von watched fascinated as the two rushed head long into a fight. She was speechless for most of the fight only moving when they seemed to get too close to her guitar. By the time the teacher came in and broke up the fight she'd regained the ability to speak. " Well that was...interesting." Her eyes sparkled, clearly intrigued by the two. " I do believe, Quil taunted Attor into that fight. Though I can't say the other didn't deserve a bit of retaliation. Any clue what that was all about?" She'd hesitated on using their names not sure if she got them right. And the new silence filled the common room. " They've got some great moves though." She'd have to hunt them down during their punishments and have them show her how they did that. A nice barter to help them with their punishment should work nicely.

Almost immediately after Quillan broke away from Attor, he spotted Professor Inoue floating into the room. CRAP. He thought, trying to get Attor's attention to put away his wand--wait, he was planning using his wand!? That little bugger. Deciding to leave him, Quillan made a mad dash for the door, only to be caught by Professor Inoue. She grabbed him by the scruff of his next and Quillan choked a little before skidding to a stop. "Gah!" Darn it! Last thing I wanted was a professor... I'll get detention AGAIN."

Professor Inoue lectures them for a bit and then dragged both of them out of the room. Quillan felt a little satisfied about this, knowing that Attor would be furious to be grouped into the same bunch as a "frog mouth". At least he felt some sense of victory because of it, knowing that Attor would be having just as hellish of a time as him, if not worse because of his superiority-complex. Heck, if he looked at it this way, detention wasn't so bad.

As he was being dragged out of the room, he gave a mournful salute to the two remaining Slytherins, a crooked grin accompanying it shortly after.

Dorian knew that he had hurt Quill's feelings even though he pretended that Dorian hadn't. He felt a little bad about that, but didn't really want to start opening up about why he didn't like people touching him. He wasn't really wanting to reveal that he was sensitive when Attor was around. Attor would probably find a way to use it against him. At least; Quill hadn't made a big deal about it. Dorian would have to find a way to make it up to him.
"Thanks," Dorian told Quill, glad that someone agreed with him. "Blood status shouldn't be such a big deal. Talent doesn't count on what family you're born into."

Dorian rolled his eyes at Attor's attempt to defend himself. This guy was starting to get on his nerves. And he only dug the hole he had started for himself even deeper. "Valley of Fear was pretty good," Dorian agreed, opening and snapping his book shut impatiently. Maybe it was time for Dorian to leave before things started to get ugly. He was sure that Quill last reply to Attor was going to piss the boy off.

As soon as he finished thinking that, Attor grabbed Quill and hit him in the face. Dorian cringed and backed up. Crap! What the hell was wrong with this guy? Dorian gripped his book like a shield in front of him and slowly backed away from the couch and hid in a corner. He wasn't so sure that staying was a good idea, but he wanted to make sure that Quill didn't get the s**t beat out of him by Attor.

Dorian was aghast at how quickly the situation spiraled out of control and a bit annoyed with himself for not stepping in to help Quill. Though if he had, he was damn sure Attor would have claimed they two of them had ganged up on him. Dorian shook his head as the two boys were lead off by Professor Inoue and Quill turned to give him and the girl a mournful salute as though he were being taken off to his death.

"Yes, so he did." Dorian said with a sigh, and turned to look at her. "He tends to bring out the worst in people. I wish I knew why he does it. He's going to be a collection of bruises and broken bones if this keeps up through the next six years."

Dorian was incredulous at the girl's enthusiasm about their fighting. "You're bloody insane!" he remarked shaking his head. "There are better things to do than fight. You shouldn't encourage them; It will only make things worse."

Von only shrugged at the boy's musings on Attor. " He'll only get bruises and broken bones if he doesn't improve and beat the next one." She laughed as the boy called her insane. " Don't get me wrong there's a line that must be drawn on when to fight. I'm not thrilled with why they were fighting but they did know what they were doing." She understood most wanted to avoid actual fighting which is why there were those that picked on such people and she vowed never to be one of those picked on. " Who else do you like to read?" Maybe if she changed the subject she could keep the afternoon pleasant.

Dorian could see the logic to Vonali's words. He imagined sooner or later he'd probably have to take up fighting in the future. Still avoiding it until it was absolutely necessary was probably the smart thing to do.

"I suppose some would say that practicing it first hand is the best way to improve as well. I for one would not want to fight against someone who knows more than me and can beat me to a pulp every time we tussled. Which is why I avoid it. At least for now." Dorian admitted, a bit wary of sharing this with a girl.

He rather hoped she didn't judge him unkindly for revealing it. Not that her opinion really mattered or anything. Dorian straightened up a bit, trying to look as though he didn't care what she thought.

He was relieved when she changed the subject. "A bit of everything really, though I do prefer biographies of wizards. It kind of gives you an idea of what to expect and what might happen in the future. What of yourself? Do you read for the fun of it?"

Von nodded at his words and would have spoke more on the topic but he seemed to want it dropped and so she did. She nodded politely as he mentioned what books he prefered but shook her head at his question. " Not really. Most of my free time is spent with my music. OR would be if Vi went shopping by herself or left me to my musings." One could tell by her tone that even though she was complaining it was only half hearted cause she cared for her friend.

Dorian couldn't help but laugh at Von's reply.
"Ah, so I suppose that's why you're practicing your music in the common room instead of elsewhere? You didn't want this Vi to catch you and make you go shopping today. Probably a smart thing." he replied, with a grin.

"So then, what artists or bands would you say inspire you the most?"

He couldn't help but ask, as it interested him what sort of music she might like and want to aspire to be like.

Von laughed with him and nodded. " She left earlier so I'm free. At least for now. As for bands I can't really think of any off the top of my head. Mostly it's traditional songs that have been passed down. Though I admit I like several songs but I haven't bothered learning the names of the bands yet." She smiled and shrugged her shoulders. Band names didn't interest her at least not yet.

Dorian smiled, knowing how Von must be relieved that her friend wasn't around. That was how he felt about Quill. It seemed like the feisty redhead was constantly following him around and trying to get him in trouble all the time.

"Ah well that's good. Traditional songs are always good. Not too many people bother with them anymore. Ah, there are a lot of songs out there and it is hard to remember who does what sometimes. Would you mind playing one of them for me? I'd love to hear more of what you know."

Dorian placed a marker in his book and closed it, retaking his seat on the couch giving Von his complete attention. He rather hoped that his frankness and sudden interest wouldn't annoy her. Sometimes musicians didn't really care to have an audience when they practiced..at least his father never did.
