"Pleading isn't going to get you anywhere, missy." Came Nikki's voice from the other side of the smokescreen. "I'll spare you and your Pokemon any more harm, if you just hand over that Vaporeon."
Kiss Kiss wasn't the only one that was down for the count. Poor Honu was now upside down on his shell, his eyes all swirly from having been soundly knocked out by Yuushi's earthquake. However, he'd left his mark on the battle with that thick cloud of smoke.
Nikki returned the Torkoal to his ball, while shooting her Charizard a disapproving look. "Knock it off and use a Flamethrower!"
The 'zard snarled but did as she was told. A blast of fire roaring through the smoke and toward Vahy'n. The Sunny Day doubling the fire attack's strength in the process.
Darkfeather was suddenly hit by a clod of feathers, shaking them away quickly but his attack getting cut despite it all. Wings flapping to keep himself aloft, the dark Pidgeot hissed at the pink one. Oh yeah? Well lets see how he liked this.
Opening his beak, a pinpoint of light formed just before a blast of purely concentrated energy was shot at Perdy in a Hyper Beam.

Rosie didn't know what to say to this, She didn't want any of her pokemon to get hurt, but she could never hand over Vany'n to this girl. Why.... why was someone even DOING this!? this didn't make any sense!
Terrified and having no idea what to do, Rosie pulled her legs in closer to her chest. "its okay, its okay" she told the Togepi, trying to convince them that this was all going to be just fine.
A few feet away there was a thick "THUD" as Perdy fell from the sky, uncontentious from Darkfeather's hyper beam.
"Perdy!"
So it was Just Vahy'n, and she wasn't one to be taken down so easy, though the odds, and the strength of this team was greatly troubling.
The glow from the smog drew her attention up. Golden eyes wide, already the attack of the fire hurt, and it hadn't even hit her yet. She tried to leap out of the way, but it grabbed hold of her hind quarters, the voice knocked the water pokemon backward, scorching her skin and knocking her to the ground.
"VAA"
Forcing herself back up with a painful howl, that sunny day was certainly troubling.
She didn't hesitate though, readying another Hydro Pump where the flames had come from.

It didn't have to make sense. Rosie had a choice, or she could just settle for having her Pokemon taken from her. It was simple as far as Nikki was concerned, and the Rocket simply smirked as yet another of the girl's Pokemon bit the dust.
"Good work, Darkfeather," Nikki told the Pidgeot as he touched down next to her once more. The black bird having to take a moment to recover from using such a powerful attack. Still he fluffed out his feathers in pride. There had been no contest as far as he was concerned.
Nikki turned her attention back to the battle just as the Vaporeon released a Hydro Pump. The Sunny Day superheating the water, cutting its power in half just before it hit her Charizard. Yuushi bellowed out a roar, for the attack was still rather painful. She stumbled back a couple paces and shook her head, snarling angrily.
Hm, that Vaporeon was certainly tougher than this girl's other Pokemon.
Perhaps she could better her chances a bit more. "Again Yuushi!" Nikki called, just as she tossed another ball. This time releasing a puny little Zubat. The creature flapping its wings wildly as it hovered in the air. "Supersonic!" She told the bat Pokemon, who released a piercing shriek with intent of confusing the Vaporeon, just as another Flamethrower shot out.

"Perdy, Perdy, get up, please!" she gapsed, pushing herself up and hurrying over to the fallen bird.
"I need you."
She had no choice, she had to run. try and get out of there and hope they can get to a town or something and find some help! This battle was overwhelming Rosie's pokemon, she could still hear the rushing of water attacks, meaning Vahy'n was still up. but Kiss Kiss wasn't making anymore noise.
Hattie couldn't just sit back anymore. especially when the sound of another pokemon was released.
Shaking her neck, and the petals hanging there, causing leaves to drift up from her. the Magical Leaf attack darting into the battle to find their target.
Vahy'n's body tricked with the Aqua rings still flowing over her body, regaining some more heath that she had lost from that attack, forming back around her striped body.
Her head lifted slightly when she saw the Magical leaf fly past her.
"Va, Vaporeon!" she called back to Hattie, before she heard a call from Rosie.
"Vany'n! Get Kiss!"
Vany;n was no at all opposed to the idea of getting out of there. but not before calling up another Hydro pump to cover them, darting over to grab the Pikachu into her mouth before streaking back to where Rosie was.
Perdy already recalled into his Love Ball.

"Oh no you don't!" Nikki barked as she heard and saw Rosie trying to make a break for it. "Yuushi! Get that Meganium!"
The Magical Leaf whizzing through the air and striking the Charizard who just huffed as it barely did any damage. She shot another blast of flame, this time aimed at the plant Pokemon.
Nikki's sights however, remained on the Vaporeon, which was somewhat difficult to see through the thick fog that still lingered in the air. Gripping the dark ball in her hand, she then pulled her arm back and then lobbed the thing in the direction of Vahy'n. She wasn't about to let Vaporeon get away if she could help it!
Darkfeather meanwhile had recovered, shoving past the tiny Zubat, who was sent spinning through the air. "GEOT!" He screamed and lunged through the smoke. The Pidgeot making a beeline for Rosie and throwing his weight at her to stop or at least slow her down.

There was no way Hattie would be able to take a hit like that. She didn't even get a moment to cry out in pain, before her scarf was incinerated and she fell heavily to the ground.
As Vany'n ran. feeling the Aqua ring restoring her a little more, something dark and small struck the ground next to her, bouncing away further in front of her now.
Though the object alerted her of a form moving through the smog, and right at Rosie.
the large Pidgeot that was with the Rocket.
Oh Vany'n wasn't going to have any of that, it was one thing to attack her team and try and steal her, it was another to aim to hurt her mistress' beloved daughter!
Unfortunately, Kiss Kiss was dropped once more, while Vahy'n shot an Aurora beam toward the Pidgeot, trying to head him off of his his attack.
Rosie returned Hattie, turning, just in time to see a large form darting toward her, and a bright rainbow beam lashed out at it.
Another light... this one darker erupted from her arms though, after a pressure bumped into her chest.
Startled by this, she staggered back, worried something hit one of the Togepi in her arms.
Even as she pulled away, she felt one of the Togepi... dissolving out of her arms, confused, and horrified. it took a moment to register what she was seeing... her Togepi just got sucked into a dark ball of some kind.
"AHH!"

There was a shriek from Darkfeather as the Aurora Beam hit him square in the chest, causing him to hit the ground with a heavy thud. The Pidgeot shuddering from the icy blast, taking him a moment to pick himself up again.
However, the dark ball missed its target and Nikki swore under her breath. That was the only dark ball that she'd brought with her. She had other pokeballs, but she doubted that they would be quite as effective in catching the Vaporeon.
Still, the telltale burst of dark light from the ball alerted Nikki to the fact that it had snagged... something.
"Sonar, go!" The agent shouted at her Zubat. The Zubat having just barely regained its momentum as the command was given. Still, he swooped down towards the ball, aiming to snatch it up.
Yuushi roared in triumph as the Meganium went down, but then decided she was done for the moment and just sat back on her haunches to watch the chaos.

Vahy'n grabbed Kiss back up again, and continued. once reaching Rosie, she placed the Pikachu down by her and turned to face the team attacking them, fins splayed out, head lowered below her shoulders as she growled, eying each of them for the next move.
Rosie was staring down at her empty arm, blue eyes wide in shock. "wha-"
She was gone... here one second and then... how... how did that happen? Pokeballs shouldn't work on pokemon that were already owned!

Well this one did. And now it was in the normally gaping mouth of a Zubat. The little Pokemon flying back to its trainer and depositing it in her hand.
"Hmph, I suppose this will have to do." Nikki grumbled irritably, shooting a glare at the Vaporeon and stunned owner.
Darkfeather placed himself between Vahy'n and his own trainer. The Pidgeot spreading its wings and bristling in a threatening manner, staring down the Vaporeon.

Vany'n fixed her glare onto Darkfeather, following up with a extended vicious growl, not removing herself from in front of Rosie.
She kept any comment she had to herself, not wishing to provoke any further aggression... it was only her left.
Rosie looked up, hugging the Togepi she had left tightly to her.
The small egg pokemon with the chocolate shell was crying, terrified that her friend just vanished.
"I... I don't get it." Rosie said when she could finally speak, her voice shaking "Why are you doing this?"

"You don't have to get it. Pokemon exist for the glory of Team Rocket. This Togepi will be better off in my hands instead of with a pathetic trainer like you."
Nikki tossed the dark ball in the air and then pushed the button to release the Pokemon inside. It should have done its job by now. A blast of dark light emerged and Rosie's Togepi appeared once more. However, its appearance had changed dramatically. A shell as black as night and red eyes now full of malice. "TOGEPRIII!" It screamed wildly, apparently enraged for no particular reason at all.
Darkfeather hissed back at Vahy'n ready to tear into the Vaporeon as soon as Nikki gave the command.
However, the agent just smirked. "You see? She's already a better Pokemon than your other dainty little egg. That ball was meant for your Vaporeon, but its not a complete loss."

Rosie didn't know what to say to this. That's what this women thought Pokemon existed for? Team Rocket? they felt justified in taking people's pokemon like this.
upon the release of the Togepi that Nikki had just taken from Rosie, the girl's blue eyes grew wide, and she felt a terrified shudder run up her spine. What... what did they DO to her!
"n no!"
Rosie moved to rush forward, but the moment she took a step, Vany'n was in front of her, barking forcefully, forcing her to stop and back up.
She continued to bark, moving Rosie back.
They needed to go, NOW!

Lips twisted in a cruel smile as Rosie's horror was evident. "You should probably listen to your Vaporeon. If you stick around, you might find yourself missing more than just your Togepi. I'm sure I could find other ways to steal your Pokemon instead of just using dark balls. Or leave your bodies at the bottom of the lake where nobody would find them."
Darkfeather hissed as if to emphasize his trainer's threat. He wanted so badly to beat that Vaporeon within an inch of its life.
"Air Cutter," she told the Pidgeot, who had been waiting for that. The massive bird rushed forward yet again, a swing of his wing creating a slice gust of air directed at Vahy'n.

Rosie had never been faced with someone like this... never met someone who would do or say the things she did, Rosie was scared, even more so knowing that this women would probably kill them like she threatened.
The trainer was shaking a she backed away. "V.. V Vah-"
The Air Cutter would have certainly been the end of Vany'n, had Aqua ring not been doing its job in restoring her.
That didn't keep the attack from hurting. Vahy'n letting out a high yelping a she hit the ground.
Trying to dodge wasn't an option, not when there was a chance it could hit Rosie.
But before the Vaporeon found herself back on her feet quickly enough, and fired another Aurora beam at the Pidgeot.
She wasn't going to stick around to see if it hit though. turning sharply she dashed toward Rosie, practically shoving at her to get her moving.
returning Kiss Kiss, and snatching up her egg, The blond trainer ran as quickly as she could into the forest. Vany'n right on her heels to make sure she didn't slow down.

Darkfeather seemed ready to go after them, but Nikki just snorted as she watched them run off. "Don't bother, they're not worth going after." There was no way she'd be able to control that Vaporeon unless it was caught in a dark ball. That girl just got lucky.
The little Togepi however, gave a battle cry and started to quickly waddle after them before it was recalled back into its ball.
"Besides, I may have gotten something better." A grin spreading across Nikki's face as she pocketed the dark ball. Togepi at least, would evolve into a flying type. "I think I'll name it, Kaira."
Yuushi, who was being rather unhelpful, was returned to her ball also, along with the Zubat.
"Let's get out of here, Darkfeather."
And with that, Nikki mounted the Pidgeot and was soon on her way back to HQ.
