Hey everybody, I'm Donald, I'm 17 years old and from VA Beach, Va.
C# .NET is my language of choice, but I am experanced in VB 6, VB .NET, C++ 6, C++ .NET, J#, HTML/CCS. (If you wanna count them.) and very little SQL.
I grew up around PC's. I learned to fix them through my sister and programming through my dad.
Next school year I'm hoping to attend ATC (Advanced Tech Center) for Oracle.

Alright, even though I'm an old member, I wasn't really active or anything since I had a feeble attempt in learning HTML. Well now I'm 17 years old, and right now I'm teaching myself Python and using Linux. I've heard that Python is a relatively easy programming language to learn, so I'll start with Python then move up to C or C++.
I was planning to major in digital arts/animation, but since being a programmer is easier, I decided to do so. For now I don't know any programming languages, but I'm also taking in consideration of becoming a hacker. I don't know whether I should be a white hat hacker or a black hat hacker, but that decision will have to come around later.
Oh yeah, English isn't my first language, so for those grammar nazis, go easy on me.

hello
i'm a 23 year old girl. I work as a game programmer in Canada.
I know C/C++ (the most important) Python (to RyuStyle: yeah its easy ^^) Java java script VB/basic/vbscript ... and all the family COBOL (although i would prefer denying it ) ASM a bit i did a bit of perl somedays SQL/JCL/HTML which are not really programming languages
We are using C/C++ and Python at my work so there are the main one i use. That and VB which is the language i personnaly use for prototypes.
else then that i have knowledge in 3D (vector/matrix/quanternion and stuff like that), Physics, AI, graphic and general game programming stuff.
I like to help people so feel free to ask me any question you might have. ^^ one last thing, please forgive my bad english because I'm french and i have yet a lot to learn in english. ^^
glad to be with you, although i'm still waiting to be accepted in the guild rolleyes
thats it!

My name is Daniel... I'm 16 and I've Been programining for a year or two...
I've been through BASIC(Liberty Basic, not VB) as my first programing language... Before that I learned a small bit of HTML... After BASIC I learned the starting of JavaScript... Then found GMaker and used GML to improve my understainding on how to actualy structure a game... After GMaker I got back into the web and Learned PHP, MySQL, and CSS...
After that I Learned Java...(First projects started out in networking)
I've very recently updated my skills in CSS, Javascript, and HTML(Yes XHTML, and DHTML... but there's aint a difference to me... XHTML is just stricter, and DHTML is a fancy way of saying you know javascript)... I also recently learned XML, DTD, and RSS... and have incorperated XML into PHP and am now using it for parts of my sites...
Basicly PHP, MySQL, and XML are bunched together, and JavaScript can be used in HTML, or GreaseMonkey for me...
In the future I intend to learn C/C++ and once I can get a system with linux running I also intend to take a Working GUI, learn how it works, and reprogram it into a new type of GUI...
I dislike the abrupt end of a sentence with a period when I'm making a post cause it hurts my eyes for some reason... (And I also like making my posts flow like speach)...
I've been waiting for the invitation to the guild... WindPowa stuck me in the recomendations, and I also sent a request, but no luck yet....(Can someone say... Crew members)...
also... being a VC of another guild... I suggest the captain make a mule and turn it into VC... cause if he loses his account for some reason... the guild will just die off... cause the mods don't intend to help with lost guilds anymore...

Hi
I'm 13...
I've been programming for a few years now. I know a lot of different languages, but not very detailed (I can never stay on one language long enough to learn it well lol). I know a little of:
QBASIC I tiny bit of Visual Basic (really tiny) Really tiny bit of Java (a little applet, too) Some C++ A little Javascript A tiny bit of HTML some Pascal a tiny bit of Python
That's about it I think.

Hi, I'm Des. I'm 20 years old and have been into computer programming since I was 8. Back then I did BASIC, but have since gotten into more languages, 3 of which are widely used today: C++, Java, and Visual Basic.
I won an award earlier this month. 1st place in the state of Georgia, for a written test on Java Programming. (Phi Beta Lambda - Future Business Leaders of America) I also get to go compete in a national competition in June.
I'm going to be helping my dad with something programming-related for his time sheets at work within the next month or so. He taught me how to use BASIC when I was 8 years old. Now I'm the one teaching HIM about programming. Heh heh heh. (Although he can figure out a lot on his own, every now and then I help him with something VB-related.)
So nice to be in this guild, I look forward to a bright future with you guys ^_^

Hi I'm Shawn and I'm 17 years old. I got into programming in my junior year(last year) where i learned QBASIC and a little bit of Visual Basic. Right now i am learning Ruby and C++(mainly allegro's libaray). When I graduate in May I will be going to college to get a degree in computer science while taking a bunch of corses on programming. I was recently in a programming competition called TINS(this is not speedhack) and I didn't do too well in it but I hope to do much better next year.

Hi Hi. I'm Jeremy, and am 19. I'm not so fortunate as to have had a chance at programming till now so I can't really say I have knowledge or understanding of any programming language. Instead I hope to learn somethings here that can help me apply Game Design concepts I'm working on. I will be doing a full course on VB later in the year, but till then all I know is the bare basics of C/C++ with a hint on Open GL (mostly forgotten now anyway.)

Hiho,
I'm Franziska, 19 ( O_o Yes, a girl)
I'm studying medical Informatics in Heilbronn (O_O german???, I know) and I'm only a bit familiar with Java, my favourite is Pascal, but nobody uses it outside of schools ^^
I'm bound to ask a few questions here, we're starting with a GUI right now, and I suck ^^

Hi, I'm Benzi, I'm 13 and I am a generally amateur programmer. I know PHP, a bit of C++, a bit of ECMA Script/Javascript, and the markup HTML and CSS (I'm a total nut about valid HTML and standards compliance). I'm on Linux xD
