Which is why I'm trying to appeal to both that that "effective cap" I mentioned.
You'd be the type to go for the readily available I-III versions of several Charms.
I'd be the kind to go after the V version with reckless abandon, forsaking other Charms for the most part.

Which is just as appealing to me as I assume its inverse (having only the highest-level Charms have a maintenance cost) would be to you - not very. whee Either option is going to annoy the other group, so again it's simply a matter of choosing which group we can deal with annoying, and which would prove most profitable. And, for the moment, I'm still not sure which group is most advantageous...

      Well...
I don't think either would be more profitable.
You'd be less likely to spend real money on an item that requires a long quest to obtain.
But there's no way I'm spending money on an item I have to provide upkeep for.
      xd

Same reason I never bought Animated Items.

Precisely. whee

Which is why we get to factor whether there are more of 'you' or 'me' in zOMG! (this one favours the 'you' side, I believe), whether we want to appeal to the group we have, or to try and grow appeal (which is completely debatable), and which of these groups is, generally speaking, most likely to shell out GC for some advantage. Hard to say, now, but I'll keep it in mind (and consider just how awful it would be to have it your way xp )...
