Unfortunately for Faust, both Lance and Carrie appeared at the top of the stairs a moment later, the two of the scouring the hall for any sign of either Faust or Kali. They saw neither - but they DID hear something that sounded suspiciously like Kali cursing up a storm, however.

"You hear that?" Carrie asked, glancing about as she got up the last step. "That sounds like her."

"It's over this way." Lance was already heading in the direction of Kali yells, and found himself wondering what could have happened to frustrate her so much. Behind him, Carrie glanced about for a moment, then decided to go after Lance - perhaps Faust was with his mother? She hoped so. If not, she was about to have a hell of a time searching through the mansion for him.
They were getting closer to Kali though, at the very least. Her swearing was getting louder. "Kali? Where are you???"

As opposed to a verbal response, the confirmation that they were getting quite close came in the form of a loud and large explosion. Sent forward by what was quite possibly pure rage, a door slammed into the other side of the hallway, cracking the wall, and falling into smoldering embers. The bottom bit of the door still hung where it had been built, half heartedly clinging to it's hinges.
Kali swung her foot back with gusto and kicked it, sending it flying after the rest of the door without regard for her toes. For good measure, she gathered another blast in her hands, and shot it through the other wall. Just to be sure.
She was still swearing, topless, and panting. But, the ******** piece of s**t door was gone.
It wasn't until she shoved her hair out of her face and whirled to yell at what she expected to be Zak that she noticed the babysitter and her date standing and staring at her. Colour, and not because she was out of breath, rose to her cheeks, and she fumbled for something to say. The most she could do was wave one hand at the door (or rather, what was left of it.) and cough.

"It was, uh...stuck? Sabotaged...the door handle fell off." She scowled, then tossed her hair behind her shoulder as if it wasn't unusual that she had just blown up the door.

Faust, meanwhile, was less than hiding his feelings about Carrie being with Lance. He kicked the wall, producing a nearly inaudible thud, and stubbed his toe in the process. This too, he blamed on Lance. It was all his fault that he was mad. If Faust hadn't been angry, he wouldn't have kicked the wall.
So it was totally his fault.

Maybe, though...maybe he could find an angle where Carrie wasn't in the way. Maybe he could find a way..
He would.
He was bound and determined to chase this hooligan away from his mother. She was too good for him, he thought. And someone just had to show him that!
Really, he was doing them a service.

Needless to say, Lance and Carrie were left staring at Kali as she demolished the door, both of them wondering what it was that it had done to make her so angry. After a moment, Lance snapped out of his thought and rose an eyebrow at his date. "Sabotaged?" That seemed a little strange, but so did the rest of this scenario. He shook his head slightly, actually trying to resist the urge he had to oggle her at the moment - he would have loved to, but even he recognized that now wasn't the time for such things, what with how upset Kali seemed to be. Instead, he walked up to her, giving her a quick look over - and not in the perverted sense either. "Well, are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?"

"I'm guessing that Faust isn't in there with you, huh?"
Carrie frowned a bit, thinking for a moment. "Mmmm...well, I'll just have to find him. I don't imagine that he could have gone far." After another moment, she looked over to Kali and Lance. "You two just get ready, alright? I'd better go look for him." The blond gave them a smile before turning to head back down the hall, wracking her brain as she wondered where the little boy could have gone. Surely he had to be close by. Would he have gone to hide somewhere? She wished that she knew the boy better - then she might be able to guess his habits.

Lance glanced back to Carrie briefly and nodded before returning his attention to Kali. "Go finish getting ready, alright? I'll wait out here." He gave her a small grin after a moment. "As much as I don't mind your current attire, I don't think they'd appreciate it as much where we're going." He was joking with her - mostly. He was at least trying to make her laugh, in either case.

Faust had retreated further down the hall when Carrie appeared, although he was still close enough to watch the hooligan touch his mother. Well...look at her, but that was still bad enough!
He puffed his cheeks out and bit back a snarl as he glared at Lance, little hands clenched into fists. This would all be so much easier if he could just bite the a*****e!
But, Momma had said no. So, he wasn't going to do that.

"I...I'm fine." Kali flushed slightly and smiled at Lance, favouring the foot she had not kicked the door with. "Just a bit...uh. Annoyed-" That was one word for it.

At Carrie's question, she turned, immediately worried when the blonde told her that her son was missing.
"He's gone? What-" She didn't get an answer as Carrie disappeared down the hall, although she was tempted to follow. Really tempted. This would have suited Faust just fine, not that she knew it.
She half-turned and looked at Lance, distracted from her concern by his joke. It made her giggle, and realize exactly what she was and was not wearing.
"I'd be worried if you minded." she half-chuckled, half pouted, trying to distract herself from Faust hiding. Carrie was responsible. She would be able to find him. That was the reason she had a baby sitter, after all!
So, as opposed to rushing off down the hallway, she cupped her breasts and pushed them up, looking down at them and then flicking her gaze to Lance.
"I mean...Look at them. How could you mind these?"

...Oh, she was a slut. A slutty tease, on top of that.
Smirking a bit, she straightened, toying with the strap of her bra. "I'll be right out, though. It won't take long to grab a shirt.." Well, it had taken long, but now she didn't really have a choice.
She moved into her room and pulled open a drawer, grabbing the first shirt she saw. A white scoop-neck tank top, as it turned out. Quickly, she pulled it on over her head and grabbed a simple black sweater, picking up her purse once more and returning to Lance's side.

"My shoes are downstairs...Once we grab those, we can go." She smiled.

Down the hall, Faust was growing increasingly frustrated. He couldn't shoot with Carrie coming down this way! She was right in the way, and he couldn't get a good angle...!
Damn it all, he really hated that man. And now they were going to leave, and he wasn't even going to get a shot in!!

Needless to say, Lance was most definitely looking at Kali's chest NOW. One couldn't say that the black-haired boy hadn't tried before - now Kali was just asking for him to look. "I don't know - I most certainly don't mind them." he replied with a grin, feeling only slightly disappointed when Kali disappeared back into her room to put her shirt back on. It didn't last long though - he WAS looking forward to going out with her, after all.

Lance didn't have to wait long. He looked to Kali when she finally came back out and grinned, giving her a quick look over. "Well, lets go then." He offered her his arm before the two of them headed for the stairs to fetch her shoes. It was a good thing that the place they were going didn't go by reservations, because Lance was quite certain that by this point, he would have been late for them. "Where we're going isn't too far - you don't mind walking, do you?" Not that they had a choice - it's not like he had a car.

"Faust? Faust, where are you?" The blond woman frowned as she looked about the hallway, still trying to locate the boy. Where could he possibly have gone? She got her answer as she caught a flicker of movement out of the corner of her eye from between two of the pillars in the hall. Raising an eyebrow, she moved over to investigate, to which she soon discovered the whereabouts of the boy that she'd been looking for. "Faust! Is this where you've been hiding? Why did you run off? You scared me half to death!"
