Aponi laughed as he listened to her quips. "Well, actually no.. I've been through fog, it's said to be the same kind of. I can manage a short distance over the tree tops, that's about it."
He drunk another sip of nectar, "Bees are fierce, but some will share if you ask nicely enough."

"You can chat with the bees, I however am a bit large and do not even want to think about the endevors of getting honey." She shook her head lightly at his small comment.
"Never been through a cloud at all? And fog is no comparison to a real cloud. It's so much more entertaining all be it a little soggy." She gave the small stallion a curious look, "wanna figure out a way to hold on and I'll take you through one?" It was something she couldn't very well share with much of anyone, save maybe a two legger, but she could never share that with Briallan, or Shilo, or any of her other friends since they were ground bound and too big for her to take up with her, but this one, he could be small enough to get into flowers, why not offer a wider view of the world, and if he took her up on it, well all the more entertaining and interesting for her day, and quite the distraction over what had been going on as of late.

Aponi fluttered his wings a bit excitedly, "Are you sure you don't mind?" He was very excited about this, "I never though I could...reach the clouds. I'd love to!" He flew over to her and sat down on her back. "Can I hold on to your hair?"

Alinea smirked as she sat down, taking her offer, "Yep, if you don't hold on tight you may fall off and I don't think your wings will make it through the cloud." She waited a few moments to allow him to get a good grip, then she trotted towards a fairly large clearing, She nodded her head back, "Hang on, it's going to be interesting." Her head snapped forward she bolted into a flat out run, her wings beating fast as she did so, finally she got the lift on her down beat and they were raising into the air.
Her wings beat fast ad heavy as she raised up into the air, her wings strong against the air currents, soon enough she spotted a cloud that would be big enough to fly through, "You might wanna fold your wings so they don't tear," Was all she said as she headed straight for the cloud.

Aponi held on for dear life. He was jostled so completely that for a moment as she ran, he thought he was going to fall off. Gripping her hair tighter with his mouth, he folded his wings tightly against him.
He'd never been up this far before! Looking around, it seemed like the ground was miles away, and he could see the cloud coming up fast. His whole body filled with excitment.

Her wings beating hard and fast she soared towards the cloud, her breathing faster, her eyes gleaming as her head hunkered down, "Here we go!"
Alinea's body hit the cloud, a thick wet sort of sensation, moisture clinging to everything as she flew through it, nothing but white surrounding them, she took an abrupt turn and burst out of the cloud, sending water everywhere, she couldn't help the gleeful laughter that shattered through the air around them. She was enjoying taking a new friend with her to a world only she knew.

Aponi felt himself doused, his whole body was shivering and shaking with the cold. He was dripping with water, and he felt his mouth was slipping a bit. Tugging at her hair, he clinged some more, "Cam't Home Ond!"

Feeling the slight tug at her hair she slowed her flight and circled for the ground, a much more leisurely pace than before, trying to make sure he stayed on her back, "Sorry I get a little excited bounding through the clouds." She grinned back at him as she circled for her landing.
She landed quite daintily considering her size, "Bet that was an adventure for ya." She couldn't help grinning broadly as she looked back to see if he still had hung on or if he'd fallen off once they hit ground.

Aponi flapped his soaking wet wings, until he was down on the ground before making himself large again. He felt his teeth chattering as he spoke, "It wa-was won-wonderful!"
He shook the wet from his body, "It was amazing, I can see how you love to do it. Though it was a bit...wet." He let out a low laugh, "Thank you for that. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen."

Alinea smirked, it wasn't often she got to take someone with her, and he seemed to appreciate the higher view than normal. So all in all it wasn't a bad day. She looked off at the horizon and sighed, the days reminded her of him, and that was a bad thing.
"I...think I should be moving on...I've got lots of ground to cover before it becomes fully dark and I have to stop for the night." She smiled, "It was fun, glad you weren't looking for a roll in the hay." She chuckled a bit, trying to make light, though a certain dark maned doofus was starting to plague her thoughts again.

"Of course," he laughed warmly. "May we meet again." He watched her, for a moment her face faltered. "Are you okay? You look...sad. After something that exhillarating..." He paused delicately.
