"I'm not sure they like sugar..." Eoghan thought a moment. Then he shook his head. "That still sounds like you want a babysitter for ... who is this Sonja? Is she your daughter? Does she have some sort of obsession with goats, too?"

The usually stable stallion blanched a bit, "Oh no, no...Sonja is not my daughter. She's a good friend though, with a bad habit of finding trouble...just about everywhere, actually." He then added, "And I don't think she has an obsessional with goats, she's actually a great deal fonder of things with sharp teeth..and claws...which is why I'm trying to find her a goat."

"Why?" Eoghan asked. "It seems to me, really, that if your, er, friend, is good at finding trouble, she ought to have a babysitter who is good at getting her out of trouble. Which sometimes requires sharp teeth. Or claws. Or muscles."

"Yes, I suppose," Aydan admitted. "They may well be suited to protecting her, although they may just as easily try to eat her." He shook his head, "No, I think a goat is the right idea. Nice, strong, sturdy...and they have those little horns, very protective. So..." he stretched his wings and leaped from his precarious perch and in a few moments managed to join the starry stallion on the higher ledge. "What do you say, think you can help me out?"

"Well, what if, for the sake of argument, she finds a mountain lion or something? Or a wolf? Or a bear? What good's a little goat gonna be against that?" Eoghan asked. Really, a goat as a protector. He couldn't figure out why anybody would think that was a good idea.

"I'm sure it could headbutt the creature," Aydan said with a nod. "Yes, it could be quite fearsome if it wanted to be. You have a better idea for something that won't possible eat her?" he questioned turning his golden gaze on the other male.

Aydan chuckled, "I'm certain the goats would not appreciate your devaluing them as such. Besides, how do you know they're dumb?" He grinned and added, "I would think the older, more experienced ones would be even more intelligent, don't you think?"

"You are probably right there," Aydan shook his head. "And I am running out of ideas..." he sighed. "This seemed like such a simple straight forward plan when I started out, just keep her from getting something that could eat her. Of course, with my luck, she'll have already found herself a companion before I get back."
