"Why are you avoiding the story?" Violet really hated waiting. Patience was not her virtue of choice. Violet did not know why but she really wanted to know what Marc and Von were up to. Of course she believed Von when she said nothing happened, didn't she? Why am I thinking like this? Von is my best friend and would never tell me stories. "Of course the band is a good idea as long as I am manager. Now get along with the story. Gah!"

Von shook her head and sighed. " No I'm not avoiding just thought the band idea was important and part of the discussion on my music. But I guess we can go back to that later." She set the guitar to the side and turned to Vi. " So I noticed this note on my books when I finished practicing today. Marc asked me to meet him at the astrology tower tonight at nine so I took a nap and headed that way. Actually didn't see any teachers but anyway. Marc was up there and I thought something was wrong but seems he's been lonely missing his friends. We talked about how I couldn't believe he didn't get into slytherin. Then he told me about something that happened this summer, long story short the girl punched him, and get this she's in Gryffindor! I met her once and I can't wait to see her again." Her eyes went cold and her grin turned slightly nasty. Granted she couldn't tell about the arrangements but she figured Marc would tell Vi in time.
" Then he asked me about my song and then lost his coat to the whooping tree. Lastly he gave me this guitar. Remember when we ran into Pani, well I had gone in to look at it and the sneak bought for me that day. Anyways we headed back down and a teacher came after us but Marc had hall passes on him. And now I'm here." Von leaned back sure she didn't leave anything important out and waited for Vi to absorb it and then maybe they could talk more about the band idea.

Violet listened as Von retold the days events. It sounded like any other day with Marc...besides the punching. "Of course your band is important. I just thought you were using it to not tell me about you and Marc. I think a band would be a great idea for you. You love music. It only makes sense. You look like you really didn't like that girl much. Who is she?"

Von shook her head and laughed. " Vi, you're my best friend why wouldn't I tell you about what happened with Marc? Nevermind don't answer." She moved a bit in her seat. " The girl's name is Clarissa and she's gryffindor. And there's just something about her that irks me. Not to mention she's got an ego bigger then your dad's bank account. I tell you the girl's messed up." Von yawns but covers her mouth with her hand and goes ahead and shrinks her guitar knowing that she won't get to play anymore tonight.
