Well, Jericho seemed sure that the ship wasn't on fire. The smoke suggested otherwise, but if Lizzy trusted this boil, she would...try to trust this boil. The fact he was a fire-type helped a bit, in this case. He should know fire, right? Right. She seemed okay with his answer, though she did mull over it a little bit in silence.
"Okay." She said simply, resolved to just...brush it all off. The little undead shook her head, hoping to rattle the borrowed brains enough to fend off all the hesitations about this particular boat. Hopefully, it wouldn't shake away anything important! Her attention was taken by Belladonna for a moment, and the child-like girl stared up at her instead, with a blank stare. Did she help this ghoul out before? She kind of remembered a skirt in the bushes, but everything else was shadowed by exhaustion.
"Ummm...." Biting on what was left of her lip, her head dropped and her gaze fell to the ground, her backwards hands lifting to fidget together. "M-maybe...?" She couldn't be sure! She assumed so, since this ghoul seemed to remember her, but that was about it. With a startle, she looked over at Nyyrikki and then towards Whisper...so many people, so many people! Just...too much!
"Pleasedon'thurtJericho" She sputtered out in an unhappy panic. "MynameisAmritanicetomeetyou." She continued to everyone who didn't know her. Between the fear of impending fire and the onslaught of new people while on a questionable boat was already proving to be too much for her...
And then she heard it.
That voice.
Calling her name.
A curtain lifted, and the little Vetala did a complete one-eighty, straightening a bit to stare at the white Gryphon, whose hands were pressing her music closer to her ears.
"Tahki!" Amrita cried out thankfully, awkwardly making her way past everyone to stand in front of her nervous friend. She had so much to tell her! So much to catch up on! But, right now, most importantly, was an update on what her friend missed: "We're on a boat! It's not on fire! Jericho said so." She said helpfully, as if that would calm Tahki's own worries, not even considering the fact that her shipmates didn't share her fear. Which was silly, they should. There was a thoughtful pause, and then she shuffled closer to her friend as though whispering a secret, gesturing to the other students. "That's Jericho." She said first with a voice that was definitely not a whisper, pointing at the dragon boil "...and Belladonna and Whisper" Though she accidentally pointed to Whisper first, and then Belladonna. "And...And...uhm..." She stared at Nyyrikki, then at Yui, and finally looked back at the ground. "I...I don't, um, know who they are...s-sorry..."

Tahki blinked as Amrita informed her of who everyone was. A thump thump thump was swelling up in her throat from all the pressure of having to learn all these new names and even relearn some old ones. Tahki was not a social butterfly in the least and tended to keep to her self in her dorm. It had gotten so bad lately that the gryphon had actually missed quite a few classes.
".. .... umm .. hi," The gryphon greeted the rest of the students Amrita had pointed out with a deer in the head lights stare before turning back to Amrita her self.
"... You know we are surrounded by water so if the boat does catch on fire theres a large chance we would also drown ... " Tahki brought her hand to her mouth thoughtfully for a moment seriously having taken in all of Amritas concerns. "Best we be careful to not have the ship go up in flames." Tahki nodded.

Looking up as he heard Belladonna approach, Jericho grinned and waved to her. He wasn't really sure if that smoke really was from incense but it didn't really matter a whole lot to him. It should at least help keep Amrita calm that there wasn't an inferno on the boat right about now. Raising an eyebrow at Nyyrikki's little threat, the dragon was about to say something in return when he heard his eyePhone buzz and ding with a text. It sounded like a few dice rolling. Text Message From: Riley Please don't burn down your boat. I will be very upset. At this he couldn't help but huff a little. He was a fire-breathing dragon yes, but it didn't necessarily mean he was going to burn down the boat! Though... he did have a greater chance of doing that than the others around so far... New Text Message To: Riley Don't worry. I won't burn down the plant-boat. Once that was sent, he looked back up at the Reaper and shook his head, looking a tad displeased. "I'll try not to. If this is anything like the train ride, I shouldn't be able to breathe fire while on board anyway," he replied finally before looking at two girls that had approached. One of them looked kind of familiar, but he had never seen Tahki in her humanoid form before, so he couldn't really tell if that was really her or not. That was, until Amrita confirmed things for him.The other girl, on the other hand, he really didn't recall seeing anywhere. "Uh, I'm Jericho. Doing alright," he blinked while shaking Whisper's hand. He then glanced over at Tahki and nodded to her in acknowledgement as well. The dragon quickly frowned at the mention of the boat going up in flames again. "Look. I'm not gonna burn down the jack-damn boat," he grumbled.

All these new students the witch had never met before were coming onboard and approaching her little group, plus they were all speculating that the boat would sink! It was honestly making Belladonna feel ever so slightly conflicted. On one hand she wanted to rock on her toes with joy that she was getting to meet so many new and interesting people, but on the other hand she also felt that all this talk of the boat ACTUALLY sinking might very well bring about the doomed event. Before the witch could say much of anything, Little Miss Amrita was giving very strange introductions. "Oh, no dear. I'm Belladonna, contrary to the roster list which has my name misspelled in an unfortunate manner. In any regard, its lovely to meet you!" In lieu of a hand shake, she curtsied for the group and gave each person a smile. "You are Whisper ?" She pointed to the appropriate girl, "You have a lovely tail. Very fluffy." Another semi-turn. " Tahki? I do not believe we have met, but lovely to meet you." And a final turn. "And you sir, I have not met you but I have seen you lurking around the reaper dorms! You are?" She asked of Nyyrikki, pointing one finger at him in an accusatory manner but following it up with a very nice smile. And speaking of people! (For whatever reason the witch was reminded of this, it doesn't matter really...) With a quick flick of her wrist the witch whipped out her skellyphone, typed in a message at lightning speed and sent the thing off. If someone had been smart (Or fast) enough to read over her shoulder they would have seen: Quote: Dai-sweetie! How is your ship? It looks really big and safe. Don't be sad cause I'll meet you when we land with a big kiss! ^3^ Now! To get everyone off this whole 'the ship is going to burn' scenario, Belladonna turned her attention to the greenhouse. "What do you think he's hiding in there?" She asked mysteriously, one hand reaching up to her chin to think out loud. "Obviously plants are in there... But what else?" A dramatic pause. "I think he's hiding a lover. A beautiful woman, a forest nymph maybe. Yup. Definitely a lover."

"Aww thank you. I do love my tail quite a lot." She flicked it back and forth. It was the part of her that got the most compliments, aside from her vibrant, glowing eyes. Even her siblings were jealous of it, as none of them were so lucky to have one like hers. Whisper then turned her attention to the greenhouse as well.
"I definitely think you're on the right track Belladonna," Whisper raised a finger that tapped on her chin. "Though he seems like he'd have a harem of many beautifully exotic nymphs, maybe some dryads? And I imagine that they are using some kind of magical incense to help the plants become even better." She literally let her mind run wild with the possibilities of a sexy harem tending plants...of course Cadmus would be involved.
"Or it could be some kind of plant dragon protecting a rare specimen of his..." She then began to imagine a large dragon covered in vines and blossoms, emitting a toxic smoke from its nostrils. Its powerful jaws chomping down on anyone who may enter, its poisonous stare debilitating intruders with terror. "The dragon could be protecting the harem...ooo that's a thought."

The closer it came to having to get onto the boat, the more he felt queasy. Not that he was unused to such a sensation, mind, but it did make him long to hide in his room, be damned what trouble he'd get into. But.... but it was his first trip! How could he just not go? It did kinda seem like an adventure...
Biting his bottom lip, his clammy fingers gripped his bag tightly as he boarded. It wasn't like he'd know a single soul there... was it bad that part of him was hoping to be overlooked by them? It wasn't like this was a D&H campaign and he could roll for stealth or something. Though, that would have been seriously awesome if he could. But reality wasn't so kind.
Swallowing thickly, he looked for a place to sit down... just needed to sit down and breathe. It should work out, right? Right? Yeah.... -_-

Nyyrikki held up his hands to calm Jericho. "Understood; you won't burn us down. Got it." While he didn't want to die a fiery death and float away into the middle of the ocean, he was also less than inclined to make an enemy of the dragon. From what he'd seen, he was a decent guy.
He grinned and turned to all the introductions, keeping his mind off the boat and amused that no one was exactly sure who he was. He'd obviously been doing too much lurking and too little socializing. Oh well, he could fix that now. He turned to Belladonna with an apologetic smile, as she was the student who had been most blatant about wanting his name. "I'm Nyyrikki. I'm sorry we haven't met. Belladonna... I think I've seen you with Daisuke on occasion."
When she changed subjects he swiftly followed along. "It's probably something creepy. Like dead, decaying minipets. It would explain why we were told they'd die if we brought them."

Oh Jack! Yui mentally swore at herself as she saw that her mutterings had truly frightened someone. And while grateful for the arrival of others who had been able to calm Amrita, she still felt a need to apologize to the tiny ghoul herself.
"Please, do not mind my muttering. I am sure that Jericho is correct and we'll all be fine. The smoke is probably from some sort of engine. And I am sure that once we get used to walking on seaweed, we'll all feel much more comfortable."
Huh, that last wasn't too likely and Yui was still convinced that DOOM was on the horizon. Still. In fairness, they all had to give this a chance. Moving slightly closer to Amrita, she placed a reassuring hand on the ghoul's shoulder and gave it a friendly squeeze. She then watched the others who were on the board and listened as they talked and speculated about things.
Ridiculous! Especially the bubbly's reaper's idea that their chaperone was hiding a nymph in the greenhouse. Granted, it was possible that she was right, but from the little Yui had seen of the Professor thus far, she found it highly unlikely. And as she listened, she thought that Nyyrikki's odea was probably the closest to the truth. Whatever the truth was.
"Hrm.. perhaps," she spoke in a soft, polite voice. "More likely, he's got some sort of large carnivorous plant in there. Like an overgrown Venus Flytrap. That would explain the threat about dying pets, would it not? I mean, given how curious most of them are, if they went exploring and ran into a large, hungry plant, they'd be eaten. And it would explain why he doesn't want us wandering through the greenhouse."
She personally thought that her theory of the Professor experimenting with dangerous plants was far more likely than dragons or nymph lovers of piles of decaying animals. But until she had proof, she'd keep some of her more barbed thoughts to herself.

The red dragons nod was matched with a small nod from Tahki. She had no idea who this was before her. The two had seen each others monster forms but never actually talked during that trip so reconizing Jericho's voice was something Tahki could not have done if she wanted.
Belladonna's greeting made the gryphoness raise a brow inwardly at the matter of factness that the two had never, at least formally, met. Tahki had taken a few classes with the ghoul but never had conversed or paid much attention. So really Belladonna's statement was dead on. The two had never met before.
"I-its nice to meet you .." Shyness tugged at Tahkis brain. There were so many students! How had she forgotten this fact! "I-I think... we have had a few classes together in the p-past....?" Not that lately Tahki had been showing up for any of her classes or anything or that she was all to easy to remember with that shy personality of hers. Out of a nervous habit the gryphon found her hands adjusting her headphones.

Seeing how people seemed to have gotten off his case now, Jericho relaxed and nodded to Nyyrikki. Belladonna's inquiry had him curious as well, as he pondered what might be stashed away within. The other students started to give off their ideas, though some of them sounded ridiculous. A harem of dryads? Really?
As he thought about it more, he idly looked about the boat, taking note of an unfamiliar ghost apart from the rest of the group. He looked a little nervous. Tilting his head for the moment, the dragon waved the ghost to come on over. They weren't going to bite.
Then, looking back towards the others, he added to the speculation.
"If there is a dragon in there, there's bound to be treasure," he said before pausing, "Though it might not be the same sort of treasure I'd keep around in my pile."
Thinking on it a little more, he came to a realization that did not make him all too happy.
"You don't suppose we're stuck with eating vegetables the entire trip...?" he asked with a hint of concern. He wasn't about to start eating plants if he could help it. While he could digest vegetation along with just about anything else.. he just didn't want to.

GM Event Post Day 1
The day was clear as ever though from within the confines of the green house all looked murky, smokey and grey as if the sky was turning against the boat's crew. From inside is looked as if the sky were about to pour down sheets of rain. Though that was the least of Cadmus's concerns. In front of him lay a table strewn with all sorts of bottles and corks. In a cabinet there wer many other bottle with the corks sealing them, these held swirling properties that glowed all sorts of odd colors.
A feeling of being watch passed over him and he grumbled to looked about sure that someone had sneaked into his house while he was diligently taking care of his potions. Though he couldn't see anyone through the smoky haze that was the defense against peeping toms. He had the odd feeling that the gaze came from the rear of the green house and unhappily he turned and went to the rear exit. Quietly the glass pane slid to the side release a great plum of smoke. His cigarette was held as usual casually within his hands and he peered around the rear. A quiet child like giggle off to his right caught his attention. He narrowed his eyes displeased with the intruder he found on his ship. "Your not one of my students. Why are you here?"
xxx The little Naiad giggled once more and beckoned him with her finger. "Your cute. I wish to aid you. Let me show you a short cut to your elusive destination"
Cadmus watched as she slipped back down into the water and headed to the front of the ship. The quite little Naiad skillfully navigating through the water. He followed her to the head of the ship.

Cyrilla, who'd been a) late showing up to board the boat, and b) keeping mostly to herself as she madly texted Merope and Aymet, clearly unimpressed with the idea that the ship appeared to be alight already. Being undead did not seem to keep her stomach from churning. Everytime everytime she went somewhere new, SOMETHING was on fire. First it was minipet class... then it was minipet class again. Art class was next, now this. She was just certain that she was a magnet for these things.
The texts to her two boils looked something along the lines of "OMJWTJHAUGH BOAT. FIRE. WRY!?!?!?! T____T" and a plethora of other random vowels and consonants being text vomited in their directions (as if they didn't have their own issues to deal with).
She had no other guesses to go along with her fear fueled spazz about the smoke rising from the boat. No. Clearly something was on fire. The ship =was= going to burn down. And it was going to be a long a** swim back to the school, and SOMEHOW, it was going to be the students fault.
And there'd be detention.
And they'd take her shinies.
And...
and..
Cyrilla just flopped onto the deck of the boat and shoved her eyephone into her sash. Headfins drooping, and wearing a defeated look she just sighed and caved to the idea that this was just not going to go well.

Malodore had quietly trailed onto the boat along with the rest of the students. While it was vaguely concerned about the smoke - and a bit worried about how Luce would fare without it back at school - it was fascinated by the botanical construction of the boat and the overall experience of being 'at sea'. Only a few of its boatmates were familiar - Jericho and, of course, Amrita. The rest were largely an unknown quantity, faces spotted here and there in the hallway or in classes.
The plague doctor spent most of the first day exploring and observing; it had never been on a boat of this size before! The swamp rafts by its childhood home hardly compared. Though none of the other boats had looked so... smoky... hrm.
At least the food was better than on the train...

Oddly enough, Amrita was on the other end of the spectrum; while she was shy, she seemed to find herself everywhere. Maybe she would drag Tahki out more! That should work, right? Right. Though, the Gryphon did bring up a point that Amrita didn't think about before; if it wasn't death by fire, it was death by water. She could only stare up at her friend, her jaw slack and her brow furrowed with worry. Well, until Jericho spoke up again.
"I believe you." She insisted, since he did calm her fears earlier. Then, of course, her attention was whisked back to the very ghoul who had helped fuel said fears; Yui. "Both of you." The small ghoul amended quietly, offering a little smile. As they discussed what could be in the greenhouses, Amrita frowned unhappily. All that smoke...all that smoke. So much smoke, if it wasn't fire...what could it be? The other suggestions were nodded to lightly, and then she piped up with a suggestion of her own:
"Maybe he's rebuilding those robot things from Christmastown..." After all, the yellow ranger-bot did heave an awful lot of smoke....or was that the room that was on fire? She couldn't tell, she could just remember flames and not-flames and smoke. Her attention was caught by a fellow undead who looked...well, not good. Not that undeads looked healthy in any regard, but this one was clearly off. It didn't take her long before she connected the dots as they were the same ones she had connected before, and she left Tahki's side to wander over to her.
"I-its okay, Jericho said it's not a fire...!" She murmured to the ghoul, trying to be helpful. Sadly, she had gotten it mixed up; Jericho said they weren't going to die, and that he wouldn't breathe fire; not necessarily that the smoke wasn't from a fire...go go delusional Amrita.
Malodore received a little wave, though she was too busy trying to help Cyrilla feel better to really wander over to the Doctor.
